Turn old into new. Upcycling is on trend. This is true not only for DIY projects, but recycling is also increasingly a topic in industry. Here, it is becoming more and more critical that preliminary products are sustainably promoted. By reusing existing primary products or raw materials, points can be scored in several ways: both financial gains and the support of investors and customers. We present a company that extracts precious metals from catalytic converters, thus positioning itself as a beacon of hope in multiple billion-dollar industries.

For the first time since 2012, the German football champion this weekend might not be FC Bayern Munich. The days when Chinese companies imitated German products and even copied them brazenly are long gone. At best, Chinese companies are still borrowing from German products in terms of design. When it comes to the technology itself, the Chinese have long been leaders - especially when it comes to batteries for electric cars. BYD, for example, has been producing lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries for a long time and uses them in its cars. Now the technology is spilling over into the West. We show what opportunities could arise from this.

Higher, faster, further: That is the claim of the automotive industry for new e-car models. In fact, a lot has happened in recent years. From e-cars made in France, which at best managed around 200km, to sedans that now travel 1,000km, the development is great. Nevertheless, the comparison between small cars, sedans or SUVs is limp. Reason enough to take a closer look at what really makes e-cars better, using three listed companies as examples.

Nordex, Saturn Oil + Gas, Shell - Reality vs Idealism: Long in oil stocks!

  • Oil

The idea that renewable energies will feed the world's entire energy needs is desirable but unrealistic in the short term. In the political debate in Germany, we are currently seeing how far apart the target images of "green" or "sustainable" and security of supply can be. In an exemplary manner - and this is meant with a wink - Europe's largest economy is shutting down its nuclear power plants and now suddenly realizes that its great dependence on Russia's gas supplies is creating a supply risk. Now a ramp-up of coal-fired power plants is supposed to fix it. For logical and forward-looking investors, oil stocks are worth a look.

Nordex, Memiontec, JinkoSolar: Where sustainable returns await

  • Sustainability

The motto "After me, the deluge" has had its day. Today, industrial companies have to take responsibility for their actions. That includes cleaning up pollution and offsetting CO2 emissions from production. Hence the trade in emission rights. It is also favorable for a company's image if it is sustainable and communicates this to its customers. We present three stocks that can score points with sustainability.

ThyssenKrupp, Almonty Industries, Salzgitter: "Green" steel as a growth market

  • Sustainability

It is not without reason that the quarterly figures of steel producers are regarded as a barometer of economic development - after all, steel is used in many industrial products. Whenever companies invest in new capacities, such as buildings or infrastructure, steel is used. A new trend is so-called "green" steel, which does not use coal-fired power in its production and thus saves CO2. It also pays off for customers. After all, the CO2 from purchased raw materials also counts in the carbon footprint. Schaeffler recently secured "green" steel from Swedish startup H2 Green Steel. A sign that sustainability has also reached this sector. We highlight three exciting stocks and do the sustainability check from an investor's perspective.
