Born in Munich, he first studied economics and graduated in business administration at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in 1995. As he was involved with the stock market at a very early stage, he now has more than 30 years of experience in the capital markets. In the historic dot.com year 2000, he trained as a CEFA analyst in Frankfurt and has since then accompanied over 20 IPOs in Germany.

Until 2018, he held various positions at banks as an asset manager, capital market and macro expert as well as fundamental equity analyst. He is passionate about the energy, commodity and technology markets as well as the tactical and strategic asset allocation of liquid investment products. As an expert speaker at investment committee meetings of funds as well as at customer events, he can still describe the course of the 1987 crash, one of the major buying opportunities of the last 33 years on the stock market.

Today, he knows that the profit in shares is not necessarily the result of buying cheaply, but above all of avoiding mistakes and recognizing in good time when markets are ready to let air out. After all, in addition to basic fundamental analysis, investing in stocks is above all a phenomenon of global liquidity and this must be monitored regularly.

Palantir Technologies, Kleos Space, TeamViewer - The next data hype is coming!

  • Space
  • bigdata

In a political conflict like the current one between Russia-Ukraine and the rest of the world, the availability of accurate movement data would be a real asset. However, military data is guarded by governments like a holy grail - especially troop movement data is a hot commodity. In terms of consumer tracking and communications, data is already the most important element of the digitized world. What matters is when what content is seen on which channels and who is sitting in front of the end device. Here is a selection of data specialists with distinctive entry points.

Super numbers! Barrick Gold, Desert Gold, First Majestic - The gold and silver rally is coming!

  • Gold

Inflation is a buying time for precious metals - Inflation Protection. The political conflict with Ukraine seems to be slowly dissipating into thin air. But short-term surprises still lurk to drive the price of gold. Due to the pullback that has begun, there has been a slight easing in commodity prices, but the fundamental rally continues. Barrick has reported on 2021. And second-tier stocks are waiting in the wings. Here is a selection of promising gold and silver stocks.

The technical breakout: Barrick Gold, Tembo Gold, Delivery Hero - Huge gold rally ahead!

  • Gold

A lot is going on on the political fronts. Ukraine is put in fear by threatening gestures, and the West is mobilizing on Poland's border. With such maneuvers, the stock exchanges usually take a dive, and for gold and silver, it often produces a buy signal. A few days ago, there was an accompanying inflation figure of plus 7.5% from the United States. That signals a further increase in inflation, which was not expected even by the Fed. We are looking at potential winners from this large-scale situation.

Attention: Siemens Healthineers, Perimeter Medical Imaging AI, MorphoSys, Siemens - Riding the next hype with MedTech!

  • medtech

MedTech and pharma giants have been in high demand not only since the pandemic. The technification of diagnostics leads to the early detection of serious diseases and shortens the planning of necessary medical interventions. Of course, COVID-19 significantly impacts the availability and additional demand for high-tech in practices and emergency departments. It is creating a boom in demand from manufacturers rarely seen at this headline rate. We are looking at clear winners in medical digitization.

Plus 300% in 3 months - what is next? Infineon, BYD, BrainChip

  • Technology

According to an analysis by Goldman Sachs, 169 high-tech industries are affected by the global chip shortage. The lack of microprocessors has not only hit the automotive industry hard. Nothing works without chips, whether smartphones, WLAN routers, wind turbines, or medical equipment. Experts do not yet see a turnaround because the problems contributing to the crisis persist. Which tech stocks should be on the buy list now?

1000% possible: Varta, Standard Lithium, Power Nickel: The super battery is coming!

  • Electromobility

In view of advanced stock market valuations, rising inflation and disrupted supply chains, many market participants wonder whether the 1000% is possible in 2022. It is! Because right now, there are many young companies with revolutionary approaches to solving the climate crisis. Innovation and fortune are needed here to launch the ultimate solution to our future problems at the right time. Battery technology remains a good starting point because the issues of range, service life, and recycling have not yet been satisfactorily resolved. Maybe the tenbagger is among the following 3 companies?

The 100% interest winners: Allianz, Commerzbank, Deutsche Bank, MAS Gold - The precious metals are coming!

  • Gold

For a long time, the Bund Future had been able to hold well above 170. The 10-year Bund contract even reached prices above 178 points at its peak. Since mid-December 2021, however, the tide has turned. The German 10-year yield literally exploded from -0.30 to +0.27%. Some observers will say, "Nothing much has happened!" Wrong - the time of negative yields is history. Long-term mortgage rates also rose by a full 70 basis points during the same period. This marks the end of the phase of ultra-low interest rates, and it also puts real estate financing in an entirely new light. And the accompanying high inflation has many investors looking to precious metals - they are seen as a hedge against inflation. Which stocks are winning in this environment?

MorphoSys, Defence Therapeutics, Valneva, CureVac - Find the bio blockbuster!

  • Biotechnology

The biotech sector is a highly dynamic growth market within the equity universe. It is characterized by investment volumes of unprecedented size, which is also the reason for the high innovation rate characteristic of the sector. Price reactions to positive or negative surprises can be very volatile, and these tendencies are often exacerbated by the intervention of stop orders or the occurrence of derivative slippage. Vaccine manufacturers were down over 50% across the board, as the pandemic is being traded as a phase-out. The vaccination rate does not appear to be increasing significantly. Where are the opportunities for investors at the moment?

Meta Platforms, PayPal, Triumph Gold - The turnaround is coming in really hard!

  • Gold

Never before in stock market history have there been several billion-dollar corrections in technology companies in succession without the NASDAQ collapsing significantly. After the halving of Netflix, it now catches two other showpieces of the NDX, namely Meta Platforms (ex-Facebook) and PayPal. Last week, after the announcement of their figures, they experienced a severe sell-off of almost 30% each. In total, assets of over USD 300 billion were incinerated. A former bank executive would probably no longer call that peanuts, especially since the Lehman crisis in 2008 triggered a veritable conflagration because of skewed loans worth more than USD 400 billion. But today, everything is different. After this sell-off, who can soon rise again?

Shell, Saturn Oil + Gas, Gazprom: Oil price explosion to USD 120?

  • Oil

Oil prices again rose sharply last week and once again reached multi-year highs. Most recently, a barrel of Brent North Sea crude cost USD 92.80. That translates to an increase of approximately USD 13 since the beginning of the year. The price for a barrel of the US variety West Texas Intermediate (WTI) rose to a high of USD 92,20; thus, the spread between the oil variants is again historically low. Both grades rose at times to their highest level since autumn 2014. The triggers for the current bull market are primarily the Ukraine crisis and the cold snap in the US state of Texas. This has fueled concerns about production losses in the Permian Basin, the largest US shale oil deposit. Which oil stocks are now under the spotlight of investors?
