Is electric refueling getting more and more expensive? There are solutions! Mercedes-Benz, Altech Advanced Materials, Varta

  • Electromobility
  • Technology

Diesel is unlikely to cost less than EUR 2 per litre anytime soon. But at least modern combustion engines are considered efficient and flexible. Current media reports about electricity costs at charging stations for e-cars show a different picture. Some providers are shamelessly exploiting the shortage of charging stations and rising energy prices. Prices of EUR 0.70 per kilowatt hour are not uncommon at public charging stations. Those who fill up a lot in public areas often pay more for electromobility than for driving a combustion engine. But what does this mean for the trend toward electric driving?

End of capitalism? Here comes growth! Mercedes-Benz, BrainChip, Amazon

These days, the book The End of Capitalism by TAZ journalist Ulrike Herrmann is causing quite a stir. Its basic tenor is that the growth story is coming to an end. In order to achieve climate targets, it is now a matter of shrinking in the right way. Even if many readers might have spontaneously rolled their eyes at both the title and Ms Herrmann's employer, it is worth taking a closer look. Here is why the growth of the future offers opportunities.

E-mobility before hydrogen! Watch out for Plug Power, Edison Lithium, Mercedes-Benz and Rock Tech

  • Mining
  • Lithium
  • Hydrogen
  • GreenTech
  • Electromobility

According to the traffic light coalition, subsidies for e-mobility will continue until about 2025 but will decrease by an average of about 30% annually. In the future, the top models will be subsidized even less, and the subsidy for hybrids will already expire at the end of the year. Vehicles costing over EUR 65,000 will no longer be subsidized at all. The environmental bonus tax pot comprises EUR 3.4 billion and will not be increased any further. However, it is important that hydrogen-powered vehicles also benefit from subsidies. Currently, however, there is a lack of models for the mass market. For the e-industry, there are still bottlenecks in battery technology and lithium availability. Against this background, the industry will still have a lot of work to do to get climate change in mobility on the road. Where are the opportunities?

E-cars? This is what matters now! Mercedes-Benz Group, Altech Advanced Materials, Varta

  • Electromobility
  • E-Cars
  • Sustainability

Higher, faster, further: That is the claim of the automotive industry for new e-car models. In fact, a lot has happened in recent years. From e-cars made in France, which at best managed around 200km, to sedans that now travel 1,000km, the development is great. Nevertheless, the comparison between small cars, sedans or SUVs is limp. Reason enough to take a closer look at what really makes e-cars better, using three listed companies as examples.

Nel, Altech Advanced Materials, Mercedes - It is getting exciting!

  • Hydrogen
  • Electromobility
  • Technology

The challenges for the implementation of the energy turnaround are great. The desire to make greater use of renewable energy sources increased in light of the Ukraine war and the dependence on Russia that has become visible. Even after the highs of the Corona pandemic, supply chain issues and increased commodity prices continue to weigh. China's sabre-rattling illustrates that globalization not only brings benefits but also creates dependencies. In this respect, it is prudent for countries and industries to increasingly rely on national "solutions" or those that emanate from secure jurisdictions. In the megatrends of hydrogen technology and electromobility, investors should also keep an eye out for exciting companies from the second tier.

Mercedes-Benz, JinkoSolar and Globex Mining with top news - Nordex needs money again!

  • Commodities
  • Investments

Rising commodity prices have recently pushed inflation in Europe to over 7%. With the ongoing conflicts, economic forecasts for global growth are now also clouding over further. The German Federal Bank expects increasing economic risks in the second half of the year and consequently reduced demand for raw materials. As a result, inflation is expected to fall next year due to the high base effects from 2022. The beneficiaries would be the industries currently suffering from fragile supply chains and dependent on a stable supply of raw materials. Hopes are therefore pinned on a near end to the war in Ukraine. Which stocks could then benefit very quickly?

Cars have a future - Here is how investors can invest: Mercedes-Benz, Altech Advanced Materials, Varta

  • Electromobility
  • Technology

Mobility is a valuable commodity - despite high fuel prices. Studies show that Germans have continued to drive their cars since the end of February. For some, there is no other choice; for others, independence is too important. If demand for a product or service is so little dependent on price, this is known as low price elasticity of demand. For investors, this insight can be an important orientation that is worth hard cash.
