Buy now? BioNTech, Nordex and MAS Gold

  • Gold
  • Biotechnology

The mood on the world's stock markets has stabilized in recent days. Hopes are alive that inflation and the US dollar have seen their highs for now. Even a soft landing of the US economy is no longer ruled out. Therefore, for example, JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs advise buying shares because, from the perspective of the US banks, the chances of a V-shaped recovery of the stock markets are increasing. That could benefit stocks that have fallen by the wayside in recent months, including BioNTech. The Wiesbaden-based Company could be in for an exciting fall. A weaker US dollar would give a boost to the gold price. Gold explorer MAS Gold should be able to profit from this. Nordex has at least full coffers after two capital increases but continues to have problems. However, Jefferies advises buying.

Time is of the essence! Bavarian Nordic, XPhyto, Valneva

  • Biotechnology
  • Covid19

Resourceful investors always bet on corresponding stocks when new pathogens or disease patterns become known. Even for monkeypox, there have long been stocks that have profited - for example, the share of smallpox vaccine manufacturer Bavarian Nordic which recently rose sharply. We explain the hype around pharmaceutical stocks and outline where there could still be potential now.

Turnaround stocks: BASF, Aspermont, TUI, Deutsche Bank - Breakout with significant momentum?

  • Turnaround
  • Digitization
  • Technology
  • Investments

The recent bear market seems to be slowing somewhat. In addition to a good market technique, there are more and more indications that a gas delivery by Russia will likely take place after all. But one can never be sure about this topic. Too much East-West propaganda stands in the way of truthful reporting, and both sides of the conflict use every available news item for their own purposes. In any case, the stock market had to react after a strong technical oversell yesterday. It went up by 3% in just 30 minutes, led by the scolded BASF. TUI and Deutsche Bank also got some air under their wings again. Where do we go from here?

BYD, Globex Mining, Nio - Unbridled growth due to climate change

  • Electromobility
  • Commodities

Looking through the mainstream media regarding climate change, the German government around Baerbock, Habeck and Co. is calling for an even greater and faster transformation from fossil to renewable energy sources. In this context, the greatest challenges are evident in the transport sector because it is precisely in this area that CO2 emissions have actually risen since 1990, despite the development of more energy-efficient vehicles. According to experts, the all-encompassing solution for radical change is the electrification of the automotive sector. It will require enormous quantities of industrial metals in the coming years. The few producers are likely to profit enormously from the high demand.

Nel with a liberation blow - When will Varta and Almonty Industries take off?

  • Tungsten
  • Electromobility

Nel has long been one of the hopefuls in the hydrogen sector. But recently, Plug Power had somewhat outstripped the Norwegians. The reason: a lack of major orders at Nel to justify its billion-euro valuation. The major order has now finally arrived, and the stock is stepping on the gas. Since Monday, it has already gained more than 10%, and analysts see further room for improvement. It should also boost other shares along the renewable energy value chain: For example, battery manufacturer Varta and raw material producer Almonty Industries. Almonty, which is actually on its way to becoming the largest tungsten producer outside China, has published convincing estimates for a molybdenum project. With Varta, on the other hand, caution is the order of the day. The chart is battered and another insider sale adds to the uncertainty.

Rheinmetall, Alpha Copper, K+S AG - Leaders in the industries of the future

  • Copper
  • Investments

Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock faces major challenges in the global fight against the climate crisis. "We simply cannot afford further postponement and compromise as a world as a whole," the Green politician warned in Berlin on Tuesday ahead of the conclusion of the Petersberg Climate Dialogue. Thus, the German government is accelerating the shift to renewable energies, whatever the cost. As a result, demand for copper will rise sharply. The red metal is currently correcting, and a new entry opportunity with attractive producers is again given. Demand for fertilizers is also likely to increase. Here, too, investors are likely to sense a new opportunity after the past correction.

Where is the next 749% lurking? Volkswagen, Edison Lithium, Rock Tech Lithium

  • Lithium

While many commodities have priced in a recession these days, "white gold" is shining brighter than ever. Lithium, an important basic material for accumulators and batteries, is referred to as "white gold". As recently as 2020, the price of a ton of lithium carbonate was quoted at just over USD 8,000. Today, the coveted substance stands at a whopping USD 71,000. Here is how investors can profit from this trend and which companies need to dress warmly.

BP, Saturn Oil + Gas, Shell - The right time to enter oil stocks?

  • Oil
  • greenhydrogen

Since mid-June, the oil price has been on a downward slide. On the one hand, there are concerns about a recession. On the other hand, OPEC has increased the production volume by more than 600,000 barrels per day, at least until the end of August, in order to compensate for the loss of production by Russia. That increases the amount of oil produced worldwide because even Russia is still selling its oil to countries that have not joined the sanctions. So why are analysts like Goldman Sachs still bullish on oil? For one thing, the Ukraine conflict seems to be lingering. Also, China's zero-Covid strategy is currently far from its regular demand. If the Chinese government changes its approach, the oil price will continue to rise in the long term, also due to a lack of investment by oil multinationals.
