Quantum stocks have come through Monday's AI quake relatively well. This shows that investors are differentiating and not blindly selling. D-Wave has proven good timing with a strategic move. Is the next purchase wave coming? Saturn Oil & Gas also appears ripe for rising prices. The Canadian oil producer is planning a massive free cash flow in the coming years and is buying back substantial amounts of new shares. The stock can be worthwhile for traders and long-term investors. TUI also makes a positive impression. The tourism Company's stock is currently gathering strength after the price rally in the second half of 2024. Buy now?

Saturn Oil & Gas: Share price attracts entry

Saturn management seems to be confident in its own share. Since October 2024, insiders have purchased approximately 440,000 Saturn shares. In addition, as of November 5, 2024, the Company has repurchased around 2.2 million of its shares since the summer of 2024. Currently, Saturn shares are trading at CAD 2.11, at the lower end of its multi-year sideways movement. For traders, this presents an opportunity to move towards the upper end at CAD 3. A longer-term investment in the stock could also be worthwhile, as there are good reasons why Saturn shares might break out of the sideways channel in the current year.

The ambitious margin improvement targets of the oil producer serve as a price driver for the shares of Saturn Oil & Gas. In 2025, an average production of 38,000 to 40,000 oil equivalents per day should generate an impressive free cash flow of CAD 125 to CAD 165 million. This would correspond to a free cash flow per share of CAD 0.65 to CAD 0.85. By way of comparison, Saturn's shares are currently trading at CAD 2.11. The free cash flow is to be used, among other things, for the agreed share buyback program, the reduction of debt to CAD 700-740 million and opportunistic acquisitions.

From 2025 to 2027, a cumulative free cash flow of CAD 450-475 million is expected to be generated. In terms of prospects, it is not surprising that Saturn shares are recommended as a "Buy" by four of the six analysts covering them, according to marketscreener.com. The median target price is CAD 4.42. To reach this level, the Saturn share price would have to more than double.

    TUI: Double-digit prices soon?

TUI shareholders have been waiting for a sustained breakout above the EUR 8 resistance level since 2023. At the end of last year, it seemed that the time had come. The tourism Company's shares rose dynamically to just under EUR 9. But then they ran out of steam and fell to EUR 7.50 within two weeks.

As has been the case for years, analysts tend to be cautious about TUI. Although the majority advise buying or adding to positions, the average price target of EUR 10.26 offers limited potential. Deutsche Bank is among the TUI bulls. Its analysts believe the tourism company is on the right track. TUI could even exceed market expectations in terms of sales. They, therefore, recommend the share as a "Buy" and see a fair value of EUR 11.

    D-Wave: Milestone in focus

The stock proved its strength in Monday's AI quake. With a gain of over 5%, it almost made up for the previous day's losses. The management of the quantum computing specialist demonstrated good timing in the latest capital increase. Last week, the Company raised around USD 150 million in fresh capital by selling shares. The average issue price of the new shares sold on the stock exchange was USD 6.10. The Company announced that it now has cash reserves of USD 320 million.

According to CEO Dr. Alan Baratz, the additional capital will enable D-Wave to implement its plan to achieve sustainable profitability and positive cash flow. The Company is considered one of the market leaders in quantum computing, with customers such as Siemens Healthineers, Lockheed Martin, and Mastercard.

Saturn Oil & Gas shares are currently trading at the lower end of its trading range. However, the Company seems interesting not only for traders but also offers opportunities for longer-term investors due to its high planned cash flows and the ongoing share buyback program. The successful capital increase and stability during the AI quake indicate a continued positive development for the D-Wave shares. TUI seems ripe for a breakout above EUR 8, but the weak economic forecasts for Germany and Europe could sooner or later also impact the travel market.

Graphite is a crucial material for battery anodes. Natural graphite, in particular, is in high demand and scores with its unique properties. As China tightens export restrictions on raw materials and focuses on supplying finished batteries, Western automakers like General Motors are growing increasingly concerned about supply security. At the same time, innovation is needed to remain competitive against low-cost Chinese producers. Currently, there is only one operating graphite mine in all of Canada, despite the material's strategic importance. We explain the background and introduce a potential beneficiary that has so far flown under the radar of many investors.

That happened fast. After a temporary surge in defense and metal stocks, investors are taking profits. This is understandable, as some stocks, such as Almonty Industries, had risen by over 1,000% in just 10 months. Now it is time to let the market settle and, with renewed confidence, return to the most sought-after sectors of 2025. Of course, it is recommended to diversify across many regions and sectors, such as AI, high-tech, or precious metals, to keep portfolio volatility low. Here are a few examples that have gained relevance in recent days.

Stagnation looms! After the Dutch government replaced the Chinese CEO at chip manufacturer Nexperia, chip deliveries from China to the EU have come to a halt - production stoppages are now a real threat. The supply of critical raw materials is also anything but secure today. China is tightening the reins not only on semiconductors and rare earths. Beyond strict export controls or outright bans, industry insiders report that a multitude of bureaucratic hurdles are making day-to-day operations increasingly difficult. We take a look at how Western mining and industrial companies are adapting to this new environment and explain why Power Metallic Mines has recently moved into the spotlight for many investors.
