Turnaround on the horizon - TUI, Pathfinder Ventures, Lufthansa
The tourism industry is one of the sectors hardest hit by the Corona Crisis worldwide. With the lifting of restrictions, booking numbers shot up, defying the war in Ukraine and rising prices. Tour operators report a sharp increase in bookings for the summer, which for several weeks have already exceeded pre-pandemic levels. In addition, travel-hungry travellers are paying significantly more than in the years before the lockdowns. The industry is on the verge of a turnaround. In addition to the usual hotel vacations, the demand for camping remains high. The few listed companies are benefiting particularly from the boom.

Unheeded crisis signals! What is next: BioNTech, Lufthansa, Triumph Gold
There are always comeback stocks on the stock market. The airports are full of travellers who are being drawn to distant countries. So the tourism industry, and airlines too, could almost strap themselves in for a comeback. If only it weren't for the new BA.5 virus variant, which has infected large parts of the population in Portugal within a very short time. It seems investors have to choose between travel stocks and pandemic stocks when looking for comeback stocks - or is there a laughing third party?

Lufthansa, wallstreet:online, Rheinmetall - The mood brightens
At this year's World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Robert Habeck, Germany's Minister for the Economy and Climate Protection warned of a global recession. Specifically, he said, there were four sources of danger in the form of high inflation, an energy crisis, food shortages and the climate crisis. In contrast, the mood of the German economy brightened considerably in May, despite the Ukraine conflict. "The German economy is proving robust despite inflation concerns, material shortages and the war in Ukraine," Ifo President Clemens Fuest said. "Signs of a recession are not visible at present." Ideal conditions for further rising quotations. Thus, several indices are again on the verge of striking buy signals.

Rheinmetall, Kleos Space, Lufthansa - Which shares benefit from the war-related supply chain problems?
Supply chain problems began in earnest with Corona, and just when it seemed the situation was returning to normal, the Ukraine conflict started. We are already seeing the effects in the supermarket today. Once again, no toilet paper, and you also have to be lucky with cooking oil, pasta and flour. But the industry is also suffering, with the automotive, pharmaceutical and chemical sectors being particularly affected. It is not only due to a lack of materials but also to longer transport routes, as Russia, for its part, has closed its airspace to foreign machinery. Imports from China thus have a longer route - the only alternative remains shipping, which in turn is significantly slower.

TUI, Lufthansa, mm2 Asia: Shares for the opening after Corona
Currently, the news surrounding Russia's war of aggression dominates the capital market. A second event that has a significant impact on share prices: is the COVID-19 pandemic. And even if the daily infection figures are still at record levels, Germany is on the verge of dropping measures. Other countries are even further along. Companies are likely to benefit from this. For example, the tourism group TUI and Deutsche Lufthansa. TUI sees considerable pent-up demand, and Lufthansa is benefiting from the optimism of a competitor. However, analysts are still skeptical about both. The Asian entertainment company mm2 Asia should also benefit from upcoming concerts and cinema openings. In the first half of 2021, sales have already more than doubled.

TUI, Aspermont, Lufthansa - Hard hit by the Ukraine crisis, but there is hope!
Putin's attack against the free democratic basic order will have far-reaching consequences. He will go down in the history books as a warmonger and aggressor; as far as Western politicians of character are concerned, he will be burned for years to come. The Russian leader is paying a high humanitarian and economic price for marking the border between East and West. Its own population is the main loser. NATO never posed a threat, as it is a defense pact. Warlike actions have been far from the West for years, and there is no reaction on this side. Freedom and democracy are difficult to preserve for Ukraine, but one should not throw in the towel too soon. The following values have fallen by the wayside, but they will take off again when the situation calms down.

Lufthansa, mm2 Asia, BioNTech - Clear the way for the rebound
After the strong increase by the Omicron variant, the infection numbers are decreasing, and the world is breathing a sigh of relief. Due to the high vaccination rates, politicians are loosening existing restrictions. It is hard to believe, going to cinemas, restaurants and even discos is allowed again. Bookings for the travel season are increasing daily, and flying, provided you don't want to go to Kiev or Odesa at the moment, is possible at any time. Due to the almost two-year standstill, there are interesting opportunities to participate in the revived business, especially in the entertainment industry.

Lufthansa, Kleos Space, Meta: The sky is NOT the limit
Keep going, always keep going! What once drove Oliver Kahn to peak performance is also the motto of enterprising companies. Companies that make their products a little better every day or open up entirely new markets are not likely to be outdone by the competition any time soon. We look at three companies doing something special in their own way.
