BYD, a pioneer in electromobility: Can First Hydrogen and Plug Power follow suit with hydrogen?
The future of mobility is increasingly environmentally conscious and innovative: now that electric cars have firmly established themselves on the market, hydrogen propulsion is emerging as a promising candidate for a green transportation revolution. Driven by the increased use of renewable energies, we are seeing growing potential for the production of green hydrogen. It is in the spotlight of current energy strategies and could come into its own, particularly in areas of mobility where electric batteries are reaching their limits. We look at the top dog of electromobility and two companies that focus on hydrogen.

The 2024 share rocket without e-funding - BYD, Defense Metals, Porsche and Volkswagen
With the supplementary budget 2023, the fate of the e-funding was sealed. On December 16, the purchase premium hammer came down in an "ad hoc announcement" from Berlin: The funding of up to EUR 4,500 for the purchase of a new e-vehicle has expired with immediate effect. This was announced by the Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA). The deadline for applying for the funding ended on December 17, 2023, meaning that e-mobility is now a thing of the past. Only the reduced tax rate under the company car scheme and the general exemption from vehicle tax remain. Consumer advocates are complaining about the unequal treatment of different mobility concepts that have prevailed for years, and the Federal Constitutional Court will likely have to deal with this issue in due course. Time for investors to rethink - where are the opportunities in the investment year 2024?

Nel ASA, dynaCERT, BYD - Greener driving, the new era of transportation technology
Reducing emissions from driving is crucial in the fight against climate change and air pollution. Large diesel engines in trucks, buses and industrial applications contribute significantly to the emission of nitrogen oxides (NOx) and particulate matter. Hydrogen and electric drives are seen as promising solutions for a low-emission future, although each technology has specific advantages and disadvantages. A coexisting application of both systems could enable the optimal reduction of emissions. However, there is still a long way to go. It will take years to build up the necessary infrastructure. There are already technologies available to reduce emissions today. We look at one company from each sector.

Star investor Buffett bets on oil: BYD, Plug Power, Shell, Prospera Energy
While the world was watching the Dubai Climate Conference, Warren Buffett invested in oil. The star investor increased his stake in Occidental Petroleum to 27% via Berkshire Hathaway. There is also the possibility of increasing the stake in the US oil company to 33%. The move came after Occidental shares had lost 20% in just a few weeks. This anti-cyclical move is typical of Buffett and shows that oil stocks like Shell are exciting. A similar turnaround story to Occidental is Prospera Energy. Things are expected to get interesting for the Canadian oil producer next year. This is likely also the case for BYD and Plug Power. Chinese companies want to attack the Japanese market, among other things. Like so many hydrogen companies, Plug Power has to address the question of the profitability of its business model.

COP28 - Acting on climate change in 2024! Nel ASA, Manuka Resources, BYD and VW - more than 200% is possible
Despite all reservations, the science is unanimous! Failing to limit global warming will pose significant risks to humanity in the next two decades. At the end of the World Climate Conference in Dubai, the revised resolution text was adopted without objection by almost 200 countries. COP28 President Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber described the outcome as "historic" and a "foundation for transformative change". The agreement calls for a global transition away from fossil fuels. It is thus the first resolution of a UN climate conference that concerns the future of all energies - including oil, natural gas, and coal. Criticism and rejection came from the Gulf States, as they intend to continue their "Affordable Oil & Gas from the desert sand" business model. How do typical GreenTech shares react to the latest climate policy?

Uranium, lithium or gold? The climate conference tells us which way to go! BYD, Globex Mining, VW and Mercedes!
At the international climate conference in Dubai, several Arab countries sharply criticized and ultimately rejected the global move away from fossil fuels. The move by Western countries is an "aggressive attack", said Kuwaiti Oil Minister Saad Hamad Nasser al-Barrak yesterday, Tuesday. "I am astonished by this extraordinary insistence on depriving people and many countries of their basic source of energy. This approach is racist and colonialist," al-Barrak continued. This means that there will be no decision on a global phase-out of oil and gas with the OPEC states. Therefore, the current World Climate Conference is likely to be inconclusive or conclude with unilateral declarations from the EU. However, there is much to suggest that commodities that positively impact the global climate will remain on the import list of industrialized countries. Which shares should be considered in this mixed situation?

TUI strong! BYD reacts to share price slide! First Hydrogen share price about to jump?
TUI shares reacted to strong figures yesterday with a jump of over 10%. The tourism group also announced its intention to leave London and relocate its headquarters to Germany. However, the initial reactions from analysts were somewhat cautious. Given BYD's disappointing performance throughout the year, price reductions and negative analyst opinions have led to another sell-off. Now, the Company has decided to buy back its own shares, but will that be enough for an upward trend? First Hydrogen has several pieces of promising news. The Canadians have introduced their hydrogen fuel cell commercial vehicles in the UK, and interest is high. Furthermore, they plan to enter battery production with a partner. Will the three shares take off further, driven by the positive news?

Blackrock Silver, BYD, Infineon - Silver: The new gold of the technology sector?
There is currently an attractive opportunity for investment in silver as it plays a key role in the growing e-mobility sector and chip manufacturing. The increasing production of electric vehicles is driving the demand for silver. Simultaneously, silver is becoming increasingly important due to its use in highly conductive pastes for the progressively sophisticated chip manufacturing industry. These developments could lead to a sustained increase in demand and make silver a potentially lucrative investment. Precious metal prices have already risen sharply.

BYD with "Tesla killer", JinkoSolar with sales record, and Klimat X Developments with milestone payment
BYD is currently bursting with energy. The Chinese company is rushing from one sales record to the next. To ensure this continues in the coming year, BYD has unveiled two new "Tesla killers". The mid-range SUVs are designed to make life difficult for the Model Y. For those without a climate-neutral business model, CO2 certificates can be purchased from Klimat X Developments. The Company has just received a milestone payment. When will the shares of the innovative company benefit? JinkoSolar shareholders also need to be patient at the moment. The share is not taking off despite the solar group doing well operationally. While the Chinese have reason to celebrate, another competitor disappoints once again.

BYD, First Hydrogen, Nikola - Mobility in transition, which shares have long-term potential?
The mobility landscape has changed drastically in recent years. Traditional internal combustion engines are increasingly being replaced by more environmentally friendly alternatives such as electric vehicles and hydrogen fuel cells. These changes will also have far-reaching implications for transportation, altering how we move. Which technology will prevail? We look at three companies with different approaches to the topic and assess which companies are well-positioned for the future.
