Quantum computing has arrived in Germany! With the help of D-Wave, the Jülich Research Center plans to advance the research, simulation, and optimization of future technologies such as AI, quantum, and neuromorphic computing. Will this help D-Wave's high-flyer stock to develop new momentum? A real hidden gem (for now) is the Credissential stock. The software company combines AI, quantum computing, and crypto. The breakthrough is expected in 2025 when the stock is expected to take off. And what is Palantir doing? The stock is unstoppable, surpassing corporate growth. Investors are speculating about the PayPal Mafia and government contracts worth billions. And then, of course, there is the direct line to the US Vice President.

Credissential: AI, quantum computing, and crypto in one share

Credissential offers AI, quantum computing, and crypto in one share. With a market capitalization of less than CAD 10 million, the software company is still a little known Canadian gem. However, this could soon change. For one thing, the tech company recently announced that it would build a strategic crypto reserve this year. As a first step, up to CAD$500,000 may be invested in the purchase of Ripple (XRP) and/or Stellar (XLM). XRP is currently one of the favorites in the crypto scene because it is expected to benefit from the new crypto-friendly US government.

For Credissential, the planned crypto reserve is part of its strategy to integrate blockchain technology into its software platforms. For example, the AI specialist's Antenna (www.antennatransfer.io) offers a platform for digital transactions with a high level of data protection and security. The Privy Wallet is planning on being integrated for further development. This should enable payments in cryptocurrencies to be made quickly, securely, and efficiently in the future. Security is strengthenedby quantum encryption. At the beginning of February, Credissential announced that it was averting the threat of cybersecurity risks arising from quantum computing by integrating a post-quantum encryption layer. That layer has now been fully integrated.

Credissential's second pillar is a platform aimed at bringing the approximately 60,000 independent car dealerships in the US into the online world. Dealers will not only be able to list their vehicles but also network with each other. This way, dealers can access the vehicles of connected colleagues online and offer them to prospective buyers. When a successful sale is made, both dealers earn a commission, and Credissential receives a fee. In addition, the innovative startup plans to generate potential revenue by brokering insurance and financing in the future. In the current year, the platform is to be rolled out, and dealers – often with several locations – are to be connected.

    D-Wave: Quantum computing in Germany

What a surprise! When it comes to quantum computing, the Jülich Research Center (FZJ) is playing in the premier league. To this end, FZJ is the world's first high-performance computing (HPC) center to purchase an advantage annealing quantum computer system from D-Wave Quantum. With more than 5,000 qubits and 15-way connectivity, it is said to be the world's largest quantum computer and the first system of its kind in Europe.

Called JUPITER, the system is expected to serve as the foundation for research, simulation, and optimization of future technologies such as AI, quantum, and neuromorphic computing. It is designed to enable researchers to address some of humanity's most critical challenges, explore new applications, and drive the development and integration of these cutting-edge technologies into practical and impactful solutions.

"The D-Wave Advantage system has played a pioneering role in the development of quantum optimization, both through its contribution to groundbreaking research and the development of enterprise solutions in numerous industries," says Prof. FZJ-Manager Thomas Lippert. "D-Wave is the only quantum vendor solving real-world problems today, and we are very excited to be the first HPC center in Europe to own D-Wave's groundbreaking quantum computer."

And how is D-Wave doing? Last year's high-flyer was trading at over USD 10 at the beginning of January 2025. Comments by the NVIDIA boss caused it to crash to below USD 4. The stock is now bottoming out at around USD 6.

German and international companies will present at the upcoming IIF. Registration is free.

Palantir: Revenue surge thanks to the PayPal Mafia?

Among the top-performing AI stocks in recent months is Palantir. The tech company is now worth over USD 270 billion. The share price has risen by over 50% in the new year alone. The current growth rate of around 30% hardly justifies this valuation. Hopes are pinned on new government contracts. Palantir provides data analysis tools for government customers for intelligence gathering, counterterrorism, and military purposes.

Several members of the new Trump administration have ties to Palantir and its co-founder, Peter Thiel. Thiel is seen as the key figure behind the political rise of the latest US Vice President, J.D. Vance. In addition, government advisors Elon Musk and David Sacks, like Thiel, belong to the so-called PayPal Mafia. As the "Financial Times" reported, Palantir also has a network of individuals in high-ranking government positions in the US and UK. According to "Bloomberg", a former executive is now the Chief Information Officer at the US Department of Health and Human Services.

Credissential's shares offer the opportunity to benefit from several megatrends at once. If the positive news flow continues over the course of the year, shareholder value may increase. For Palantir, growth momentum is crucial; otherwise, a significant price correction could occur sooner or later. Can the PayPal Mafia deliver what investors are hoping for? With D-Wave, investors are betting on the future, but orders like the one from the Jülich Research Center show that quantum computing is already a hot topic today.

From publisher to data company: Why Aspermont needs to close the valuation gap with Glacier and Informa

There is a clear two-tier society on the stock market when it comes to the valuation of information providers. Traditional media companies that depend on advertising revenue are often traded at low single-digit multiples. Data providers, on the other hand, which retain their customers through subscriptions and proprietary databases, enjoy the high valuations of the tech sector. Aspermont, the Australian market leader for B2B information in the commodities sector, is currently undergoing this lucrative transformation. A look at the competition reveals where the journey could lead. While the Canadian company Glacier Media shows how to profitably combine news and data, the British giant Informa proves that specialized B2B information is a billion-dollar business. Aspermont is currently aggressively adapting these successful models, but is still valued by the market like an old-fashioned newspaper publisher. Yet the Company has long since proven that it can win over wealthy customers in the B2B segment.

Is the price of uranium about to jump above the USD 100 mark? Analysts believe this could happen as early as next year. After a mixed 2025, a significant upward trend is anticipated. In the US in particular, nuclear energy is increasingly seen as a key solution to the growing energy demand driven by the boom in data centers. One company set to benefit is American Atomics. In an interview, the head of this hidden gem describes the prospects. The hype surrounding Plug Power has faded again. Investors' hopes for a sustained upward trend have once again been dashed. Is an improvement on the horizon? And what are the prospects for high-flyer D-Wave Quantum? A recent study is giving the sector a boost.

Car wash as a source of revenue: How WashTec combines the business models of Dover and Ecolab

Car washing has traditionally been considered a conservative business - steel, brushes, and water, with no major disruptions, or so people believe. But behind the scenes, a change is taking place that requires a reassessment of the industry. WashTec, the global market leader for car washes based in Augsburg, Germany, is currently shedding its role as a pure machine manufacturer and transforming itself into an integrated high-tech service provider. To understand the potential of this metamorphosis, it is worth looking across the Atlantic. While US industrial giant Dover Corporation demonstrates how lucrative the global scaling of hardware can be, Ecolab provides the blueprint for stable, recurring revenues through chemistry and process optimization. WashTec now combines precisely these strengths - machinery, chemistry, digitalization, and service - under one roof, positioning itself for investors as the industry's overall technological optimizer. We take a look behind the scenes.
