Born in Munich, he first studied economics and graduated in business administration at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in 1995. As he was involved with the stock market at a very early stage, he now has more than 30 years of experience in the capital markets. In the historic dot.com year 2000, he trained as a CEFA analyst in Frankfurt and has since then accompanied over 20 IPOs in Germany.

Until 2018, he held various positions at banks as an asset manager, capital market and macro expert as well as fundamental equity analyst. He is passionate about the energy, commodity and technology markets as well as the tactical and strategic asset allocation of liquid investment products. As an expert speaker at investment committee meetings of funds as well as at customer events, he can still describe the course of the 1987 crash, one of the major buying opportunities of the last 33 years on the stock market.

Today, he knows that the profit in shares is not necessarily the result of buying cheaply, but above all of avoiding mistakes and recognizing in good time when markets are ready to let air out. After all, in addition to basic fundamental analysis, investing in stocks is above all a phenomenon of global liquidity and this must be monitored regularly.

250% Stock Rockets: Attention, it is taking off now with Nel ASA, naoo AG, Steyr, Mutares, and Hensoldt

The German economic stimulus package has been launched. The only thing missing is the approval of the Bundesrat, which is expected today. Public opinion is divided because the total of up to EUR 1 trillion in "special funds" is the largest debt incurred by the now 75-year-old federal government. The doubters see it as an enormous burden for future generations, while supporters emphasize that Germany has hardly invested in its future for many years and that the renewal backlog is now finally being addressed. This measure will increase the debt-to-GDP ratio by around 25%, while at the same time, the targeted measures in armaments, infrastructure, and climate protection will improve growth by around 0.2 to 0.3% annually with an increased state quota. The stock market celebrates, while the working population has to contribute around EUR 500 in interest annually as an additional tax burden. The election winners had promised significant tax relief. Where do the opportunities for investors lie?

After the NASDAQ correction – Hightech on the rebound: Palantir, Amazon, MiMedia, SMCI, and Intel on the rise

The NASDAQ correction was sharp and brief, with a 15% drop from 22,200 to 19,100 in just 4 weeks. In the context of a normal consolidation, that might be enough to bring the heavily overbought tech stocks back to normal levels. Unfortunately, however, there are also valid fundamental reasons that can be traced back to the official chaos of the new US President, Donald Trump. He is making wild tariff demands and withdrawing key resources from all international partnerships. This departure from normal political behavior could have a much more significant impact on the stock market, as global trade relations are faltering, while inflation and currency devaluation continue. Which tech stocks should be considered now?

NASDAQ crash, inflation, and price shocks – Gold protects! Golden Cariboo, TUI, Lufthansa, and Carnival

Just three weeks ago, euphoria reigned on the markets, with the DAX, NASDAQ and EURO STOXX reaching new heights – now the tech rally seems to be over for the time being. Germany has voted, and a grand coalition must now take charge of the current issues. However, the challenges remain formidable, and exploratory talks are proving correspondingly tricky. It remains to be seen whether a new government will be formed soon. Donald Trump is taking a unique path in the US and is alienating all former allies. He has boldly taken up the cause of resolving the Ukraine conflict – but so far nothing has happened! China is reporting a slump in exports, while in Europe, the debt ceiling is to be relaxed in order to overcome the tough transformation of the modern age. Infrastructure has been neglected for too long, digitization is in its infancy, and now there is a dramatic need for rearmament. This smells like more debt, higher prices, and further currency devaluation - a fertile ground for gold investments, as the precious metal recently reached a new high of USD 2,950 while everything else is falling. What happens next?

Artificial Intelligence – Fabulous profits with Xiaomi, Credissential, D-Wave, and Palantir

It is incredible how politics can sometimes drive markets. US President Donald Trump had broken away from Ukraine aid due to a dispute with Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and the alarm bells were immediately ringing in Europe. Defense stocks went through the roof, and EU governments scrambled to come up with new special packages to rearm NATO countries, totaling up to EUR 800 billion. The flustered chaos must have amused Vladimir Putin. However, a correction is also currently taking place in the long-hyped AI stocks. Some of the losses here are quite painful. The stock market seems to have discarded its "one-way street decree". Accumulated profits should be secured as quickly as possible. We delve deeper into the context.

Whenever investors use the term "one-way street", the market tends to correct. This time, several factors were at play, such as failed peace efforts, rising debt, increasing interest rates, and the threat of tariffs from the Trump administration. All four points have a long-term recessive effect, as they weaken consumer sentiment and purchasing power due to higher interest rates and product payments. In the short term, they also weigh on overheated growth portfolios. It is, therefore, worthwhile to take a closer look at the well-known protagonists. After all, buying opportunities arise time and again – timing is key!

Attention: IPO fever, now it's really starting! Hensoldt, Power Metallic, Renk, and thyssenkrupp

Before the election and after the election. At the beginning of the year, there was still a fight over the debt brake, but with the US pulling out of Ukraine aid, it seems that anything goes. Last week, in addition to an ECB interest rate cut, an EUR 800 billion package for armaments and infrastructure was proposed. This caused the DAX 40 index to surge, especially defense and construction stocks, which gained an average of 30%. Hensoldt and thyssenkrupp even made a giant leap upwards. The new all-time high for the index is now 23,475 points. Could there be an IPO from Essen soon? The probability for TKMS is increasing. However, it remains to be seen whether the significant premiums are sustainable; on Friday, there were initial sell-offs. Our specialty title, Power Metallic (formerly Power Nickel), continued to rise. We are looking into the crystal ball.

Artificial Intelligence – now it is really taking off in the medical field! Among many other applications, big data and artificial intelligence (AI) applications are revolutionizing the optimization of clinical phases in drug approval by accelerating processes, reducing costs, and significantly increasing the success rate. AI can analyze large amounts of data from electronic health records, genomic data, and patient registries to identify suitable clinical trial participants more quickly and accurately. This significantly reduces recruitment time and improves accuracy. Machine learning can be used to analyze previous study results to develop more efficient study designs. Based on real-time data, adaptive study protocols enable dynamic adjustment of experimental conditions. The Canadian technology company NetraMark Holdings Inc. The DAX 40 index is hitting new highs, following a gigantic wave of buying from the US. The rally is already well advanced, but due to ongoing geopolitical upheavals, high-tech and defense stocks are still performing well. In recent weeks, the positive trends have also spread to the biotech sector again. Stocks such as BioNxt have already gained over 150% in the last six months. What is driving this? Formycon has seen a severe price drop, while Bayer and Evotec are slowly getting back on track. Are we going to see takeovers now? What are the triggers for dynamic investors?

After a brief correction, the stock market is accelerating again. Alongside high-tech and AI fantasies, rumors of peace surrounding Ukraine are also gaining momentum. European stocks likely to play a role in any reconstruction are gaining a lot of attention. But high-tech is also back in demand. With Nvidia's figures exceeding market expectations, there is some minor profit-taking, but the strong trend should continue. Especially with Nvidia, investors have become accustomed to corrections being offset in a few days. Nevertheless, investors should be on their guard, as many valuations are already very ambitious. In the messenger area, we discovered Naoo AG, which was founded in Switzerland. With innovative approaches, a multifunctional app is being developed here that could potentially outperform even Meta in certain areas. A closer look makes sense.
