Born in Munich, he first studied economics and graduated in business administration at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in 1995. As he was involved with the stock market at a very early stage, he now has more than 30 years of experience in the capital markets. In the historic dot.com year 2000, he trained as a CEFA analyst in Frankfurt and has since then accompanied over 20 IPOs in Germany.

Until 2018, he held various positions at banks as an asset manager, capital market and macro expert as well as fundamental equity analyst. He is passionate about the energy, commodity and technology markets as well as the tactical and strategic asset allocation of liquid investment products. As an expert speaker at investment committee meetings of funds as well as at customer events, he can still describe the course of the 1987 crash, one of the major buying opportunities of the last 33 years on the stock market.

Today, he knows that the profit in shares is not necessarily the result of buying cheaply, but above all of avoiding mistakes and recognizing in good time when markets are ready to let air out. After all, in addition to basic fundamental analysis, investing in stocks is above all a phenomenon of global liquidity and this must be monitored regularly.

Fact check: After the correction comes the next rally! Ups and downs for Almonty, Aixtron, and Deutsche Pfandbriefbank

Zigzag! Buy, sell, buy again! What wild volatility we are seeing on the trading board! Palantir delivers dream numbers, exceeding analysts' estimates by 10%, only to drop 20% after a brief rally. Traders have a saying for this: "Buy the rumor, sell the fact." Indeed, this kind of market behavior is often seen around earnings releases. In the case of Almonty, the stock surged an explosive 700% in just eight months, only to lose 40% in the subsequent correction. For flexible investors, it is worth taking a closer look and not losing sight of the fundamentals. Here are a few ideas for rocking the boat or tucking stocks away à la Kostolany!

The stock market is showing some turbulence in the biotech sector. Unlike the big growth stocks on the NASDAQ, there is still urgent catching-up to do here. Some figures, such as those from Novo Nordisk and Evotec, still give reason for concern. The situation is quite different at Vidac Pharma, where an up-listing to the primary market is on the horizon and a clinical trial is about to begin! Plenty of material for investors' dreams to grow. We calculate where an investment is worthwhile!

Money or gold – Where can investors expect another 150% return? ESG-compliant with RE Royalties, Deutsche Bank, PayPal, or Fiserv?

Gold continues to fascinate as a scarce and value-preserving asset. However, its extraction often comes with significant environmental and social challenges, making the label "sustainable" difficult to apply. Money, on the other hand, especially in the form of cash or digital currency, is intangible and based on trust; in modern times, its sustainability is defined by its use in ESG-compliant investments. And these are diverse! With its "Green Deal," the EU is driving a comprehensive transformation and directing capital toward sustainable technologies and projects through support programs and ESG regulations. This is particularly relevant for institutional investors, who are increasingly required to consider climate risks and social responsibility. Much of this capital flows into green infrastructure and technological innovation. Private investors, meanwhile, have green investments on their radar, though the primary focus here remains on returns. Let's dive into the world of financiers.

Volatility in the growth stock sector has caused quite a few swings in recent weeks. While Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly are still struggling with margin declines from semaglutide injections, shares of the plant-based meat provider Beyond Meat have been bouncing around like a ball in orbit. After a rapid tenfold increase in October, November appears to be all about the reverse gear, with the stock currently down 80% from its peak. Those with strong nerves and a quick hand on the mouse are in luck. Things are calmer and steadier with PanGenomic Health. Here, the high levels since summer must first be digested before the next upward cycle can begin. We highlight a few opportunities.

Critical metals plus gold equals returns! Another 100% with Power Metallic, BYD, Mercedes, thyssenkrupp, and TKMS

Is it good or bad news that the US government is not supplying Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine? It is hard to say, especially if you live in Central Europe. The perceived threat from Russia has seemingly tripled within just a few months, as have the share prices of defense technology providers and suppliers of critical materials. Investors recognize that everything is interconnected these days. Artificial intelligence is boosting certain industries while simultaneously creating millions of unemployed people over the next few years, on top of an already shrinking economy. Those who are still able to consume happily will likely be the fortunate shareholders who bet on the right horses in this complex mix. We have a few examples in store for risk-conscious investors.

The stock market has been very volatile in October. Many market participants had expected a "crash" after the initial downward swings. The definition of such an abrupt downward movement is a minimum decline of at least 25% within just a few trading days. This already happened back in April, when Donald Trump projected his feverish dreams of tariff policy onto the board. Little remains of these announcements, which is why stocks quickly rebounded. Yesterday, Tuesday, the NASDAQ 100 reached a new all-time high of over 26,000 points on massive trading volumes. Fund managers and desperate private investors are pushing more and more money into stocks that have long since ceased to be cheap. What to do now? Good advice remains hard to come by!

What could be better than takeover rumors? For weeks, there have been persistent discussions about state participation in companies that support the Western supply chain for critical metals or can secure it in the medium term. Hopes are pinned on the latest developments at rare earth specialist MP Materials. But there is another way! Almonty Industries took the plunge and secured a tungsten project in the US to drive forward its geographical diversification towards the West. Investors are enthusiastic. D-Wave and Oklo are also speculating in the same vein. We provide a little more clarity.

The situation in the precious metals markets is reaching a critical point. Physical stocks on COMEX and LME are dropping to multi-year lows, while futures and spot prices are increasingly decoupling. Experts are speaking of "silent runs" on gold and silver, driven by central bank purchases, geopolitical tensions, and declining confidence in the fiat money system. Investment houses are responding with drastically increased price targets. Goldman Sachs forecasts gold at USD 4,900 by 2026, while Bank of America even considers USD 6,000 per ounce possible by next spring. Yesterday, gold and silver initially underwent a sharp consolidation and ended the day at USD 3,980 and USD 46.5, respectively. This happened faster than expected, so a new opportunity to enter the market is emerging. Here are a few ideas.

NASDAQ super bull market continues! Bet on Bitcoin now with Strategy, Metaplanet, Coinbase, Nakiki, and MARA Holdings

Another volatile week on the stock market is behind us. Once again, the NASDAQ hit a new high of 25,418 points amid much fanfare, with investment banks now predicting price targets of up to 27,500 before year-end! After a strong rebound in AI and tech stocks, the momentum could be sufficient this time, especially since many investors have long since reduced their aggressive portfolio positions. The discussion of the "wall of worry" continues. Meanwhile, the crypto world is once again in the spotlight, now increasingly seen as a "global currency" amid FIAT instability. This perspective cannot be ignored, as the US dollar's purchasing power has fallen by around 70% over the past decade. The focus, therefore, remains on Bitcoin and the companies active in this sector. Here is an overview of the opportunities and risks.

From the climate conference to real implementation! The European Union and other nations have committed themselves to ambitious sustainability programs through so-called "green deals." To support these efforts, the financial instrument known as the "green bond" has become firmly established in the market. Banks, in particular, that are keen to enhance their ESG credentials, are increasingly active in this segment. As a result, the green bond market has grown rapidly, driven by global climate targets, such as those agreed upon in the Paris Agreement. ESG investments are benefiting from political incentives like the US Inflation Reduction Act and are being dynamically sought after by insurers. Between 2015 and 2023, issuances grew by an average of 40% annually, with growth slowing somewhat since 2023. For the full year 2025, total issuance volume is expected to reach between EUR 570 and 630 billion. What, when, and where funding is provided is defined by regulatory authorities. But private organizations such as RE Royalties are also active, because green returns are not only rewarding, they also help society achieve its ambitious climate transition goals. Here are a few investment ideas.
