Shares in focus: VW, Porsche, Barsele Minerals - Big shifts, many opportunities!

  • Mining
  • Gold
  • Commodities
  • Electromobility

At the moment, shares are becoming cheaper rather than more expensive. What is unusual is not the fact that prices are falling, what is disturbing is the phase of falling valuations that has now been going on for some time. In the current environment of rising capital market interest rates, refinancing is also becoming more difficult for companies, and it now has its price again. Volkswagen AG from Wolfsburg owns many stakes in valuable automotive brands. In order not to let the debt increase further, parts of the holdings are now being placed on the stock exchange. Not a bad way to fill the coffers again. What should investors look out for now?

Higher, faster, further: BYD, Infinity Stone, Porsche, Varta - The energy transition stock portfolio is wanted!

  • Mining
  • Gold
  • Electromobility
  • GreenTech

The words "energy turnaround" are used a lot in public. The majority understand it to mean the use of GreenTech to generate energy while avoiding dangerous climate gases. Unfortunately, the leaks from the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, which is not in operation, are leaking the amount of gas into the atmosphere every day that the state of Denmark consumes in an entire week. This makes us painfully aware of how strongly warlike actions counteract efforts to save the climate. On the stock market, it is important to turn our gaze away from current events and toward a more peaceful future, where good ideas for sustainable change will also be rewarded. Which stocks belong in the portfolio?

Barsele Minerals, K+S, BYD - Sweden as a crisis winner?

  • Mining
  • Gold
  • fertilizer
  • Electromobility

Due to the explosions in the Baltic Sea pipelines Nord Stream 1 and 2, a switch to other energy sources is inevitable, especially for German industry. Fertilizer producer K+S, based in Kassel, is affected by this. The situation is different with Barsele Minerals. The Canadian company is exploring large gold areas in sunny Sweden and plans to mine up to 3.5 million ounces of the precious metal in the future. Electric car and battery manufacturer BYD, on the other hand, has sufficient resources in its home country of China and is preparing to make the leap into the European market. Find out here which shares are now defying the crisis.

Time for bargain hunters? Plug Power, Varta and Pathfinder Ventures

  • Investments
  • Camping
  • RV
  • Electromobility

Growth stocks are currently under particular pressure. But this can also create opportunities for bargain hunters. Perhaps in the case of Varta? The share has crashed sharply after a profit warning. Now, the first analyst has upgraded the share from "sell" to "buy". But even his reasoning does not sound like a new growth story. Plug Power also tends to live on the hope of growth. While the new production facility is technically a milestone, it needs more. In contrast, things are going well at Pathfinder Ventures. The still unknown tourism company is profiting from the camping boom in North America, and its valuation is anything but expensive.

Kodiak Copper, Nordex, BYD - Copper price indicates recovery of the economy!

  • Mining
  • Copper
  • Electromobility
  • Battery

Copper is considered a leading indicator of the economy. The red metal is built into almost all electrical products and is needed in many industries. If we compare the spot price of copper with the futures, we can see that the premium per metric ton has increased significantly. This is matched by the fact that China imported 8.1% more copper through August, despite the country's Zero-COVID strategy. In contrast, Chile, one of the largest copper producers, exported less than last year. So supply remains tight, partly due to demand from Europe, which is significantly expanding renewables. So today, we look at three companies around copper.

BYD, Globex Mining, Newmont, Freeport-McMoRan - Copper with doubling potential

  • Mining
  • Copper
  • Gold
  • Commodities
  • Electromobility

The price of copper has lost around a third since March of the current stock market year. Investors are selling the metal, which is known as an economic barometer, due to global recession fears and concerns of a drop in demand. However, due to the great importance of copper with regard to the energy turnaround, the tide is likely to turn again soon. Mining companies and commodity traders are already warning of a massive shortage of the world's most important metal. Goldman Sachs expects the price of copper to reach USD 15,000 per ton by 2025, which would mean a doubling of the current level.

BYD, Kleos Space, Palantir - Market leaders in the clearance sale

  • Space
  • Electromobility
  • Technology

In the wake of the major interest rate hike, the US Federal Reserve increased by 75 basis points, and the stock markets again went into a dive. After the statement by Chairman Jerome Powell, the Dow Jones lost more than 1,000 points over the day, and the Nasdaq technology index also ended the day with significant losses. That threatens a further test of the lows for the year. In the course of this, established market leaders from various sectors corrected and now offer attractive long-term entry opportunities at a reduced level.

Rock Tech Lithium, Edison Lithium, Albemarle, Allkem - Defying the recession

  • Mining
  • Lithium
  • Commodities
  • Electromobility

Fears of a global recession continue to grow, with prices for commodities such as copper, lumber, cotton and even grains correcting sharply. In contrast, the lithium price continues to hold at a high level after the explosive rise at the beginning of the year. The reason for this is the continued strong demand from the electric car industry. In China alone, sales of electric cars amounted to 3.2 million units last year, and 5 million vehicles are expected to be delivered this year. In contrast, the existing supply of lithium resources is scarce. In addition to existing producers, the primary beneficiaries of this shortage are the exploration companies, which have already been able to secure attractive properties.

BYD, Varta, Globex Mining: Shares with diversification

  • Mining
  • Gold
  • Commodities
  • Electromobility
  • Diversification

Diversification reduces risks. This applies not only to investments but also to companies. BYD, for example, sells not only cars but also batteries, commercial vehicles and more. The focus is currently clearly on the car division, but the Chinese group is also stepping on the gas in its foreign expansion in other areas. With more than 200 holdings in the commodities sector, Globex Mining is also broadly diversified, and its cash holdings alone now account for a good half of its market capitalization. In addition, there is positive news from the projects. Varta is trying to diversify with its entry into battery production. However, the Company is not making any progress in this. Perhaps there will be news at an investor conference next week.

Trade war and new world order: BYD, NIO, Almonty Industries, Airbus

  • Mining
  • Tungsten
  • Electromobility
  • Aviation

Just a few weeks ago, US carmaker Tesla succeeded in signing long-term contracts in China for the supply of crucial battery metals. At the same time, market experts emphasize that the situation for Western customers in China is becoming increasingly uncertain. The US is also not helping to ease the situation with subsidies for e-cars and batteries, most of which come from the United States. We highlight three stocks and explain how things could go in the current situation.
