BYD, EuroSports Global, NIO - The shooting stars of electric mobility

  • Electromobility

According to a study conducted by McKinsey & Company in early 2020, 51% of Germans surveyed seriously considered an electric car the last time they purchased one. Still, only 3% of them decided to buy one. 36% cited uncertainties about battery reliability and lifespan, as well as area-wide charging options, as reasons for not buying. By the end of 2020, 589,752 electrically powered passenger cars had been registered in Germany, according to the Federal Motor Transport Authority: 309,083 pure electric cars, 279,861 plug-in hybrid cars and 808 cars with fuel cells. Therefore, the targeted one million was missed by a wide margin, but 2021 has been a very dynamic year so far. The number of non-combustion cars has risen by more than 140% so far. We present three interesting e-players.

EuroSports Global, Porsche, Xiaomi - Do not miss out: favorable valuation levels!

  • Electromobility

With the advancement of electromobility, electricity consumption will increase massively. That means challenges for power generation, the power grid and also the charging infrastructure. However, this does not necessarily mean an increase in household electricity prices, as the results of a Fraunhofer study suggest. The Fraunhofer Research Institution for Energy Infrastructures and Geothermal Energy IEG and the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI have investigated how electricity prices for private households will change in 2030 if the number of private electric vehicles continues to rise. According to this study, under certain conditions, the expansion of electromobility could help to simultaneously avoid CO2 and ease the burden on private households' wallets. Which of the following three eMobility stocks has the greatest potential?

BYD, EuroSports Global, VW - Electric mobility booming

  • Electromobility

Automakers enjoyed their best first quarter in 10 years. One reason for this is the growing number of registered electric cars. If you compare the first quarter of 2020 in Germany with 2021, you can see an increase of 173% in the registration of e-cars, and there is no end in sight. However, more e-cars are not only being sold in Germany; but sales are also increasing worldwide. According to Handelsblatt, if the boom continues, there will be a shortage of millions of battery cells for production. The current industry leader, Tesla, still leads the ranking with the most e-cars delivered by brand, but the competition is catching up. Therefore, we take a look at three companies from the e-mobility segment.

BYD, EuroSports Global, Varta - Electric music is playing in Asia

  • Electromobility

Electromobility is considered the central building block of a sustainable and climate-friendly transportation system based on renewable energies. There are currently around 70 electric vehicle models from German manufacturers on the market. In 2020, the stock of passenger cars with electric drives in Germany comprised only 137,000 vehicles, according to the Federal Motor Transport Authority. The federal government wants to significantly boost the market with purchase incentives by the end of 2025, extensive investments in expanding the charging infrastructure and tax incentives. However, if you look at the global situation, it quickly becomes evident that Asia dominates the action. We introduce you to three stocks that offer great opportunities. Who has the best cards?

  • Electromobility

The number of companies focusing on the electric mobility sector has been rising sharply for the past 2 years. Different business models and the majority of the companies are suppliers to larger integrators. Then there are many followers and startups that still want to harvest a piece of the future pie. Those who are just starting out today could be too late to market once the lengthy and costly development and testing phases have been completed. Apple and Google are investing billions to be part of it. We deal with a few of these protagonists.
