Volkswagen, Graphano Energy, Varta: Graphite as the new e-car hype?

  • Electromobility

The mobility revolution is turning the economy upside down. Where steel and components for classic transmissions once dominated, the future raw materials, such as lithium, rare earths and graphite, are now being used. We highlight the tidal shift in the automotive industry and present companies that could benefit from it.

BYD, Silver Viper, Varta: Is the discount battle for e-cars coming?

  • Electromobility

Experts, influencers and visionaries often hand out advance praise for years, but new technology often does not make it beyond the hip neighborhoods of Hamburg, Berlin or Munich. It is a different story with electromobility. Of course, anyone who commutes three-digit kilometers a day will still rely on diesel and may even have in mind the possibility of acquiring a modern annual car at a reasonable price in the foreseeable future. However, those who commute up to fifty kilometers and live in more densely populated areas often already opt for an e-car today. Fancy brands, such as Tesla and their affordable Model 3 journey, are doing the rest. We highlight three stocks that stand to benefit from the e-car breakthrough and ask whether the market is facing a discount battle.

Varta, Manganese X Energy, BYD - Batteries are becoming more and more important

  • Electromobility

Batteries have been around for a long time, but the old lead-acid batteries are gradually being replaced by lithium-ion batteries, which can be recharged much more often and thus have a much longer life. All these batteries require raw materials such as cobalt, nickel or manganese. The mining of cobalt does not have the best reputation, so Tesla has already reduced the proportion of cobalt. The alternative is called manganese, and this raw material is also absolutely needed by the steel industry. With the electrification of cars, demand will increase. The battle for the longest-lasting battery, greatest range and fastest charging capability is in full swing. We, therefore, take a look at three companies involved in batteries.

Lucid Group, Graphano Energy, Orocobre - The new eMobility and its children

  • Electromobility

It is expected that no more passenger cars with internal combustion engines will be allowed to be registered in the EU from 2035. The associated non-EU country Norway is exerting even more pressure: in the land of fjords and trolls, new vehicles with gasoline or diesel engines will be banned as early as 2025. The same applies to Great Britain: the end of the combustion engine is to be brought forward to 2035, perhaps even to 2030 and applies for light trucks up to 26 tons. With hydrogen technology still in its infancy, the world is currently focusing primarily on rechargeable batteries. Here, the capacity screw is increasingly being turned to extend ranges and shorten charging times.

Varta, Manganese X Energy, Standard Lithium: Battle for the best battery!

  • Electromobility

Just after the general elections, it was back - the battery fantasy! Whatever the outcome of the formation of the government, all parties involved have shown a high level of commitment to sometimes drastic steps towards climate protection. Electromobility is becoming increasingly crucial for the energy transition in transport. And with it, the research, development and production of drives, batteries and components. In this context, suppliers of battery raw materials and product developers are enjoying a great deal of attention. The triumphant march of Tesla shares continues to pull on the entire sector. Which stocks are ahead?

BYD, Manganese X Energy, Sixt - Do it again, Elon!

  • Electromobility

Tesla parks in the exclusive club of trillion-dollar companies, the share price of the pioneer of electric automobility exceeded the mark of USD 1000 for the first time. Congratulations, Elon Musk! Once again, the serial founder demonstrated foresight and was miles ahead of the competition. Musk also takes a pioneering role in the sourcing of materials for his cutting-edge technologies. He openly advocated replacing the controversial metal cobalt with manganese - a clear sign of the growing industry. Here, too, as with other materials, there is already an extreme shortage.

Rock Tech Lithium, Manganese X Energy, Daimler: E-mobility takes off on the stock market

  • Electromobility

The bull market is here to stay. Although standard stocks are still bobbing along, speculative stocks are picking up speed. That suggests that the risk appetite of investors has not yet been satisfied. In addition, events in future-oriented sectors, such as electromobility, are coming thick and fast. Most recently, both Millennial Lithium and Neo Lithium were taken over. The Canadian-German Company Rock Tech Lithium is becoming a neighbor of Tesla in Brandenburg. Which stocks are the next winners?

Central African Gold, Varta, Standard Lithium - Get in or get out?

  • Electromobility

Electromobility is on the rise. Growth is gaining momentum, spurred on by massive political support. Increasing quantities of various raw materials and critical metals are needed for renewable energy plants, storage facilities and grids. Copper, zinc, nickel, cobalt and lithium are gaining enormous importance. China often dominates the global supply. The following companies are connected to the megatrend of electromobility in very different ways. What unites them is the opportunity for growth. Who is ahead of the game?

BYD, Kainantu Resources, JinkoSolar: Investing in green technology

  • Electromobility

Electromobility is on the rise and unstoppable. In July, a survey by E.ON showed that 66% of Germans could imagine buying an e-car. For around 70% of e-car sympathizers, climate protection is the most important argument in favor of an e-car. We highlight three stocks that can benefit from the trend toward more e-mobility.
