Again a weak start to the week. After a tentative recovery in the first half of August, it is now back to business. With 13,930 on the DAX, the bear market rally seems to have been completed. Today, a low of 13,250 is already on the board again. The stock market now has war, even higher inflation and a coming recession to price in, so the relatively high level is already surprising. However, there is still hope, and some selected share titles have already fallen far. The time of the bargain hunters is thus perhaps also no longer far away. We provide a few ideas.

The statement comes as little surprise to many. The German Federal Bank said that annual inflation in the eurozone would likely reach a new record high in the last quarter of 2022 due to rising commodity costs and supply shortages. In addition, German Bundesbank head Nagel believes the German economy may slip into recession in the winter. It is therefore likely that the monetary watchdogs have lost the race for inflation, especially in the eurozone. Further rate hikes are only expected to stall the economy's growth engine further. It is time to look at long-term positions in the precious metals sector.

Hydrogen technology is now gaining momentum to energize our climate change efforts. Joe Biden has had to negotiate long and hard, but now his USD 430 billion Climate & Health Bill is in the history books. With the President's signature, the legislative package is now officially in effect as of last week. GreenTech is on everyone's lips because, not least since the Ukraine crisis, the world knows about the dangerous dependence on fossil fuels. It is just a shame that every Republican voted against these resolutions in the US Senate vote. Some shares reacted with leaps of joy.

But this requires loyal customers who also support these innovations. And Apple has just such a customer base, setting a good example that loyalty must be rewarded for innovation.
