Power Metallic Mines shares have risen by around 30% in recent weeks. According to the CEO, however, this is likely to be just the beginning. Operational progress in developing the world-class multi-metal project discovered last year could lead to a dynamic turn by the end of the year. Perhaps last year's 200% gain will even be repeated? RENK shares have gained over 200% in the current year alone. To ensure long-term success, the gearbox specialist aims to expand its business model and offer smaller autonomous tanks, among other things, in the future. SMA Solar shares have performed surprisingly well this year. Can the rally continue, or will the skeptical analysts ultimately be proven right?

Power Metallic Mines: CEO expects share price to rise

Is Power Metallic Mines' share price set to multiply again? In September 2024, it started a spectacular rally – at that time still under the name Power Nickel – and had more than tripled by the beginning of February this year. Spectacular drilling results transformed the nickel project into a world-class multi-metal project, which is why the Company was renamed.

In a recent interview with mining.com.au, CEO Terry Lynch expressed optimism that the stock could continue to perform strongly this fall and winter. While a summer consolidation would not be unexpected, he emphasized that the Company continues to operate at full speed. Land acquisitions have tripled the size of the property, and further exploration results are expected soon. Lynch has announced exciting developments for the next 12 to 18 months.

Overall, drilling activities are to be significantly expanded, and thousands of drill meters are to be implemented in several target zones. The Nisk-Lion-Tiger area, with its high-grade gold, silver, and copper mineralizations, is the focus of the ongoing exploration campaign. In the Lion Zone, the known areas are to be explored in greater detail and the mineralized structures extended to the southwest. Adjacent zones are also to be further explored, as initial indications point to hybrid mineralization between the deposits.

If results continue to impress, the project's overall valuation could increase significantly — and the share price may well retest or surpass its February highs.

RENK: Aiming to offer more than just gearboxes

RENK has proven its strong position with its latest half-year figures – now it is looking further into the future. The long-established Augsburg-based company, which has primarily been known as the global market leader in tank gearboxes, wants to be more than just a supplier in the future. Through a strategic partnership with Munich-based defense tech start-up ARX Robotics, RENK is entering the field of unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs). The aim is to combine RENK's industrial strength and international presence with ARX's software and robotics expertise. The goal is to bring lightweight, autonomous tracked vehicles to market by 2030. They will operate alongside traditional battle tanks.

At the heart of the collaboration is ARX's Mithra OS operating system, which is designed to digitally modernize existing fleets and make future vehicles autonomous and connected. RENK is thus following the trend of software, AI, and automation redefining military capabilities. Other German defense companies such as Rheinmetall are also investing in networked battlefield technologies and driving forward the digitalization of their systems – an indication that the future of defense technology will be increasingly software-defined and networked.

RENK and ARX aim to scale up production, expand their reach in key markets such as the US, Europe, India, and the Middle East, and support NATO's strategy for technological innovation. For RENK, this means a possible entry into a new market segment: light tanks weighing up to 15 tons with speeds of up to 90 km/h. In addition to further developing heavy transmission solutions for Leopard or K2, the Company is thus broadening its base.

    SMA Solar: Exciting situation

SMA Solar is currently in an exciting situation. The inverter manufacturer's share price has risen by 15% in the past four weeks and, with an increase of over 50% in 2025, is shaping up to be one of the year's surprises.

At the same time, analysts are noticeably cautious. According to marketscreener.com, there is no buy recommendation. Instead, four experts advise holding the stock, and there is even one sell recommendation. Price targets range from EUR 14 (DZ Bank) to EUR 21 (Berenberg). The stock is currently trading just above EUR 23. The reasons for analysts' caution: In the first half of the year, SMA Solar's revenue fell from EUR 759 million to EUR 685 million. The Company also posted a loss of EUR 42 million, although the global solar market is growing.

However, the stock market appears to be influenced by other factors. Political tailwinds – such as new US subsidy programs for renewable energies – have recently fueled speculation about the stock. Although the new US administration is not generally supportive of renewable energies, regulatory hurdles and subsidy cuts are having less of an impact on the solar industry than on the wind industry. However, this could change daily now that Donald Trump is in the White House.

Following the strong news flow in recent weeks and the expected drilling results, Power Metallic Mines' share price is likely to continue moving towards its all-time high – or could it even multiply again? At RENK, diversifying business activities is undoubtedly the right move. Given its strong market position in transmissions for tanks and other vehicles, the Company cannot afford to become complacent. Congratulations to everyone who benefited from the surprise rally of SMA Solar. However, setbacks must always be expected in the solar sector – due to political intervention or rapidly emerging overcapacity, particularly from China.

The End of Siemens Energy? SMA Solar Looks Ahead with Confidence! American Atomics: A Stock for the Uranium Rally!

The stage appears to be set for another uranium rally. Prices are rising again, while experts expect a significant expansion of global nuclear power capacity—and, with it, growing uranium demand. Against this backdrop, American Atomics stands out as an attractive speculative addition to a diversified portfolio. Two exciting projects in the US are expected to generate news flow in the second half of the year and drive the stock higher. Until nuclear power plants can fully meet the soaring energy demands of artificial intelligence, data centers will rely heavily on gas-fired power generation. This is the foundation of Siemens Energy's success. Now, one of Germany's most impressive growth stories of recent years is set to continue under a new corporate name. Meanwhile, SMA Solar is staging a comeback. In a recent interview, the company's CEO explains how the solar company is positioned and looks confidently toward the future. Analysts see further upside potential.

Chips, Gold, and Dividends: ASML, Lahontan, and Allianz as a Safe Haven Amid Market Turmoil

There are times on the stock market when the hottest stock with the most spectacular story is not the best choice. When market uncertainty rises, investors are well advised to bet on stocks that remain unfazed by geopolitical news. At first glance, ASML, Lahontan Gold, and Allianz have nothing in common: a Dutch manufacturer of highly complex specialty machinery for the chip industry, a Canadian gold explorer, and a Munich-based insurance group. And yet, the three have something in common: they provide solid reasons why their share prices can remain largely immune to the general ups and downs of the markets—whether thanks to genuine underlying demand, robust operational progress, or shareholder-friendly dividend policies.

Crash Risk or Buying Opportunity? SpaceX Slides, BMW Eyes a Rebound, and Desert Gold Shines on the Charts

The situation in the Middle East has continued to escalate, with attacks around the Strait of Hormuz driving up oil prices. Brent crude has recently climbed to around USD 85 per barrel, adding another layer of uncertainty to global financial markets. For investors searching for opportunities in the current environment, it is important to look beyond individual stocks and keep a close eye on geopolitical developments. In this article, we examine three companies from very different sectors and highlight where potential opportunities may be emerging. First, we look at BMW, whose shares are currently trading at what many consider an attractive valuation and may be positioned for a rebound. We also examine SpaceX, whose stock has entered what many investors would describe as crash territory, with the share price falling below its IPO level. Finally, we turn to Desert Gold Ventures, a small West African gold explorer that has continued to make steady operational progress largely independent of broader market turbulence—and largely without attracting much attention. Could this overlooked company represent a significant opportunity for investors?
