Penny stocks with multiplier potential: Volkswagen, CATL, Pasinex Resources
The whole world is talking about critical metals. Base metals are falling through the cracks a little in the short term. But it is definitely worth considering base metals like zinc from an investor's perspective. After all, they are called "base" metals because they are urgently needed across many sectors and consumed on a large scale. According to the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS), zinc is the fourth most mined metal in the world. What sounds like abundance is not the case. The International Zinc Association reports that annual zinc consumption will increase by around 700,000 tons by 2030. It is questionable whether supply can keep pace. Stocks like Pasinex Resources could benefit from this imbalance thanks to a unique business model.

Initially highly praised and selling several thousand units quickly, everything now appears to be stalling, as huge stockpiles are suddenly piling up. Investors should keep a close eye on developments. Anyone thinking about modern batteries, for example, cannot ignore the critical metal zinc. Here are a few ideas for your portfolio.

ALERT for Nel ASA shares! Positive Sentiment at Siemens Energy and Zinc Play Pasinex!
Away from the big commodity and precious metal themes, an exciting stock is currently developing: Pasinex Resources. The Company owns high-grade zinc mines, and stable cash flows are expected to be achieved in just a few months. Additional projects are already in the pipeline, which could give this zinc play momentum in the second half of the year. Things have been running smoothly at Siemens Energy for years. More than 1,000% has been earned since the wind subsidiary ran into difficulties. Will Siemens Gamesa now also get back on its feet and contribute to growth? In contrast, there are no signs of growth at Nel ASA. The recent quarterly figures were disappointing, as both revenue and order intake are significantly below the levels of the previous year. Losses are rising. By now, investors should be hearing alarm bells.

After tungsten, is this the next raw material bottleneck? thyssenkrupp, Pasinex Resources, and Mercedes-Benz under review!
Geopolitical tensions are forcing industrialized nations to radically rethink their strategies. Following strategic metals like tungsten and rare earths, another raw material is coming into the spotlight. The importance of steel refinement and high-tech production is growing exponentially, while supply risks are looming due to market concentration. Those who now secure alternative supply sources or develop substitution technologies will not only secure supply chains but also generate competitive advantages. We take a closer look at companies that rely on zinc, and one company that could help the US remove zinc from its list of critical raw materials.
