Nordex, Troilus Gold, Gazprom: How investors cash in on climate-billions
Countries around the world are pumping billions into the expansion of renewable energies. At the same time, there is a lack of investment in fossil fuels, which are still urgently needed. We explain who is profiting from this reluctance to invest and whether, in the end, another commodity might not come out on top, using three shares as examples.

Tilray, Sativa Wellness, NanoRepro, Valneva - The 2022 health winners
The topic of cannabis ran through all the gazettes in 2018 and 2019. The Netherlands, Canada and 9 US states were the well-known pioneers in cannabis legalization at the time. It is now also to come in Germany - at least that is what the coalition agreement of the government parties says. The debate about the legalization of cannabis has been going on worldwide for several years. For Germany, the traffic light coalition wants to legalize the controlled distribution to adults for consumption purposes. In this way, they say, licensing the sale of cannabis would also ensure the protection of minors and prevent the spread of contaminated substances. The industry briefly cheered with share price increases but then returned to normal. We take a look at key industry players.

Steinhoff, HelloFresh, Aspermont: From flop to top
The stock markets continue to be very nervous. The German leading DAX index could not do anything with the good guidance from the US and was slightly in the red. Among the striking shares are the papers of HelloFresh. The cooking box mail-order Company disappointed investors and analysts with its forecast for 2022. The situation is quite different at Aspermont. The preliminary figures were convincing, and analysts see considerable share price potential due to the entry into the FinTech business. In contrast, Steinhoff shares remain a plaything for gamblers. Although there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel, legacy issues have the ailing retail Group and its stock in their grip.

SAP, Kleos Space, Palantir - Big things happening here
There is a space boom. The prestigious object of the billionaires is no longer the million-dollar villa, the helicopter or diamonds. A flight into space as a fun trip is announced and lifts the Musks, Bezos' and Bransons from the grey layer. It is made possible by the ever better developed space technology. In addition to the hobbies of the super-rich, however, the development also serves meaningful issues, for example, in the fight against crime. According to studies, the market is still relatively untapped and offers enormous growth opportunities for the companies involved.

Rock Tech Lithium, Noram Lithium, Volkswagen: The highflyers of tomorrow
Today, batteries for electric cars are still primarily imported from Asia. But soon, most batteries manufactured in Germany should also come from Germany. A number of factories are already under construction in Salzgitter, Göttingen, Erfurt, Kaiserslautern and Grünheide. All these production sites are united by the need for lithium. No wonder that this critical element is becoming increasingly expensive. Shares in lithium companies, therefore, offer opportunities.

LVMH, Diamcor Mining, Porsche: Luxury as a safe bank
Christmas is the season for gift-giving. Especially towards the end of the year, we like to give our loved ones, business partners, and friends gifts. The last quarter is traditionally strong for shares from the consumer goods sector. Jewelry manufacturers also benefit from the end of the year. Since consumers like to give gifts regardless of the economy, and luxury, in particular, can be a bit of a cyclical business, we present stocks from this sector.

Barrick Gold, Barsele Minerals, Merck KGaA - Much movement in the market
Currently, there is little movement in the gold market. The gold price peaked at around USD 2,070 an ounce in the summer of last year, and it is now consolidating around USD 1,800. Investors prefer to invest in higher-yielding assets such as equities or cryptocurrencies despite the economic environment with high inflation and historically low-interest rates. Behind the scenes, however, a lot is going on in the gold market. Most recently, for example, Tembo Gold announced its entry by Barrick Gold, with further acquisitions to follow.

BYD, Graphano Energy, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen - Tesla urgently needs this
Climate change is on the global agenda. The cry for decarbonization of the economy is getting louder and louder. Climate activists call for an even faster transition, while politicians follow suit with ever shorter targets. The plans are in place, but implementation is still a long way off. The lack of raw materials, in particular, is likely to silence the theorists in the near future. In addition to lithium, one raw material is essential for the production of lithium-ion batteries.

Valneva, Novavax, Manganese X Energy: The new pandemic fighters?
In the fight against the fourth wave of Corona, German industry is now also becoming active. In support of the vaccination campaign, numerous well-known corporations are changing their advertising slogans. Since November 7, more than 150 companies - including BMW, McDonald's, Edeka, Sparkassen, and Volksbanken - have been jointly promoting the corona vaccination. The campaign was developed by the Berlin advertising agency Antoni. In the future, Valneva, Novavax and Manganese X Energy want to contribute to the direct fight against the pandemic. Valneva and Novavax are in a neck-and-neck race for the first inactivated vaccine alternative to the top dogs BioNTech and Moderna. Newcomer Manganese wants to combat Corona with a new air disinfectant and has other arrows in its quiver.

Nordex, Osino Resources, Standard Lithium: Politics as a guarantor of returns
The markets have recovered a little after the Omicron shock. However, uncertainty remains. So how to invest? Investors can look to intact major trends that are also supported by politics. This approach could create a kind of risk buffer for turbulent times. We explain what lies behind this approach and present three possible investments as examples.
