Varta, Nel ASA, Almonty Industries: Buying opportunities for 2022?

  • Tungsten

Even though 2021 felt like it was all about COVID-19 and vaccine manufacturers such as BioNTech, Valneva and Novavax, the energy and mobility revolution was one of the dominant themes. Evidence of this is the boom in e-cars in Germany. The Association of International Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (VDIK) estimates that one in four new cars in this country will be electric in 2021. There is a good chance that hydrogen, lithium & Co. will continue to electrify investors in the coming year. Here we present three companies benefiting from the megatrends but whose share prices have come back significantly from their highs: Hydrogen specialist Nel ASA, battery pioneer Varta and future tungsten giant Almonty.

Upcoming hydrogen and cannabis boom - Nel ASA, Ayurcann, Canopy Growth

  • Cannabis

These two completely different sectors have one thing in common. After both cannabis stocks and hydrogen sector companies multiplied in the past, a significant correction set in during the stock market year soon ending. This correction is likely to continue into the new year 2022. In the long term, however, there are outstanding opportunities both for cannabis, through legalization in various European countries, and for hydrogen, urgently needed for the energy transition. It is time to position yourself.

NEL, dynaCERT, Plug Power, FuelCell Energy - An explosive scenario for hydrogen in 2022!

  • Hydrogen

In 2021, the "hydrogen" topic was played exclusively on the stock exchange. Much advance praise was given to an industry that has to fight for future budgets with a broad consensus favoring e-mobility. But with the tightening of climate targets in the EU, North America and Asia, the H2 issue is taking on new relevance. If it is not the propulsion systems, hydrogen is particularly suitable in decentralized energy supply, high-tech industry and even for electricity storage of surplus green energy. Should the efficiency of green hydrogen production increase, H2 would be a good energy store because it can be transported over long distances without significant losses. The same cannot be said of power transmission in overhead lines. We evaluate the opportunities of individual players.

Clean Logistics, Plug Power, Nel, FuelCell Energy - 2022, let's go hydrogen!

  • Hydrogen

Germany is focusing primarily on green electricity from wind and sun due to climate protection. It can already be used comparatively effectively in e-cars, for example. However, this is far more difficult in industry: Fuels such as oil, coke or gas are to be replaced by hydrogen in steel, chemical and cement production. The situation is similar in shipping, aviation and heavy goods transport, where it isn't easy to run on electricity. The rise in fossil fuel prices increases the pressure to switch to alternative energies and new drive concepts. The year 2022 could set an important starting point.

Nel ASA, Clean Logistics, Plug Power - Is hydrogen fuel for the depot again?

  • Hydrogen

The coalition agreement of the new traffic light government has been in place since November 24. Achieving the set climate targets is at the top of the agenda. One of the cornerstones is the use of green hydrogen, and so it is essential to increase electrolysis capacity in the coming years. Investments in the development of infrastructures for hydrogen are also to receive financial support. There is also to be a quota for public procurement. What the future hydrogen strategy will look like is to be announced in more detail in an update in 2022. Countries within the EU are also to cooperate more closely in this area. We, therefore, take a look at three companies from the hydrogen sector.

Nel ASA, First Hydrogen, Plug Power - When will the next hydrogen wave come?

  • Hydrogen

It can be frightening to watch the prices on the stock markets flashing red everywhere in the short term. The number of infections continues to rise worldwide, and a mutant called Omicron is spilling over from South Africa. On the other hand, the central banks continue to pour new money into the markets to promote economic growth. Hydrogen stocks are also correcting sharply at the moment, an opportunity for bold investors to position themselves for the long term.

Nel ASA, dynaCERT, BYD - Attractive opportunities after the crash

  • Hydrogen

The market is seeing red. Of course, in the short term, the outbreak of a new Coronavirus variant is determining events on the markets. In addition to stocks, cryptocurrencies are falling like stones, and even the safe haven gold is sliding into the red after initial gains. In the long term, values from the hydrogen sector, especially after the strong correction of the past months, offer enormous potential due to the tighter climate targets and are gradually becoming more attractive again at current levels.

Plug Power with a bang - what are Nel and First Hydrogen up to?

  • Hydrogen

Hydrogen shares are in demand again. The basis for the industry is the political will for hydrogen to become a central pillar of the energy transition. It applies to numerous industrialized countries, and Germany's new traffic light coalition will also stick to it. But there is also positive news from the companies in operational terms. Following ThyssenKrupp's plans to float its hydrogen division on the stock market, Plug Power has now reported a major order with charisma. That should also give new impetus to hydrogen shares such as First Hydrogen and Nel.

Nel ASA, Enapter, Plug Power, ThyssenKrupp - Hydrogen now or never!

  • Hydrogen

It sounds crazy, yet we have arrived at the times when billionaires ask social platforms if they can flog a part of their shares to flush some money into the empty state coffers. In an age of powerful wealth shifts in favor of stock owners, this is perhaps legitimate, or nice, as it is sometimes referred to in the press. But appearances are deceptive. Behind a generally formulated question about whether one should sell shares lies the precise calculation of shifting blame if the announced sale causes a significant price loss. What then happens is a self-fulfilling prophecy with one small difference: the intention to sell was previously legitimized, so to speak, by public vote.

Clean Logistics, Ballard Power Systems, Nel ASA - Hydrogen shows its strengths in logistics!

  • Hydrogen

It may seem as though the race for drive concepts of the future has been decided, and the e-drive in combination with battery storage has prevailed. However, in the area of transport logistics, the last word does not seem to have been spoken yet. Prominent examples here include the new cooperative concepts of Nikola and Bosch in fuel cell development or the cooperation between TotalEnergies and Renault in the area of small delivery vehicles. The following companies are also likely to benefit significantly from further advances in hydrogen technology.
