GreenTech 2024 - The turnaround analysis: Siemens Energy, Almonty Industries, JinkoSolar and Nordex. Is the turnaround near?

The Western hemisphere is experiencing unprecedented inflation due to the impact of Corona and subsequent geopolitical conflicts. This time, it is not a boom causing prices to explode but the scarcity of raw materials, manpower and capital. The rise in interest rates is making infrastructure projects worldwide more expensive and jeopardizing the implementation of climate projects. In such an environment, GreenTech companies try to plan carefully, but they are still dependent on the support of public budgets. After sharp price corrections this year, investors can now enter the market a good 50% below the highs, but has the bottom already been reached?

Global stock markets continue to head north and find themselves in the midst of a year-end rally despite the uncertainties in geopolitics. This rally is likely fueled by the ongoing easing on the interest rate front. The DAX, Germany's leading index, remains close to the critical 16,000-point mark. In addition, technology companies that have corrected sharply in recent months will likely face a sharp wave of recovery.

Desert Gold, Nordex, RWE: Gold and wind energy as solid investments: Portfolio diversification for sustainable growth

At first glance, gold and wind energy may appear to be complementary, but they have surprising connections. While gold is considered a 'safe haven' and investment, the increasing importance of renewable energies, such as wind power, is impacting the global energy market. Desert Gold is an experienced explorer with a 440 sq km gold property in West Africa, with 20 gold zones that may contain promising precious metal deposits. Wind turbine manufacturer Nordex impresses with solid business in the third quarter. RWE, as a global player, appears to be one step ahead with its offshore wind projects. Find out here why both investments can be worthwhile.

Greentech sector buybacks - The stage is set for a 100% rally! Nordex, Defense Metals, SMA Solar and Siemens Energy

With the new EU Climate Law, Europe has once again raised its long-term target for reducing greenhouse gases by 2050. Instead of a reduction of 80% to 95%, the aim is now net zero emissions, i.e. "climate-neutral". This is to be followed by negative emissions in subsequent years. The idea sounds promising: emission reducers can offset emission sources! However, climate change generally requires the use of modern Greentech technologies that "produce" these savings. Those looking to reduce or replace fossil fuel consumption typically need large apparatus and innovations, such as various alternative energy sources converted into electricity. Europe, in particular, faces the challenge that most of the necessary metals are classified as critical, making it financially unrealistic to roll out innovative projects on a broad scale. Which shares stand out in this environment?

That was a significant turnaround. While the DAX 40 index stood at 14,650 points at the end of October, it started its year-end rally at the beginning of November. On Friday, the index even broke back above the crucial 15,300 mark. There are now technical resistances to watch for upward movement. In the Greentech sector, there was good news from the corporate side: Varta is optimistic about the next quarter, and Siemens Energy is up 40% in 5 trading days. The Power Nickel share has been strong all year, and what about Nordex? All these stocks have the potential for a 100% gain – the question is, which one will take off first?

When Plug Power, the largest company in the new hydrogen technology, announces that it will likely run out of money in 12 months, it is a bombshell for the entire industry. If the big player cannot become profitable, there appear to be technological problems. The rollout is likely to take longer. But the energy problems worldwide still exist. This increases the opportunities for solar energy, the oil industry and possibly wind power. We look at one company from each sector and examine their future prospects.

After months of selling off, Greentech shares are making a comeback. By late fall, popular hydrogen and solar stocks had lost between 50% and 85% of their share prices from the boom times of 2020/21. Now, everything points to a rebound. Battery innovator Altech Advanced Materials is also coming up with good news. If everything goes according to plan, lithium-ion technology could soon see a dramatic increase in efficiency. We take a look at the bombed-out sector and where the opportunities lie for investors.

Climate protection is rightly booming. But what if renewable energy simply doesn't make financial sense, and private investors are hesitant to get involved? The wind power industry, in particular, has been under pressure for years. We explain what is holding back companies like Nordex, when their shares could make a comeback, and explore lesser-known alternatives in the field of climate protection. Let's get started!

Companies in the renewable energy sector have been in a sharp correction for months. Whether wind, hydrogen or solar, share price losses of over 50% for market leaders such as Plug Power or Nel Asa have not been an isolated case since the beginning of the year. Nevertheless, the future looks promising in these areas, as sharp price setbacks often represent unique long-term buying opportunities.

Nordex, Power Nickel, Verbio - On the verge of a Breakthrough

Both politics and business are taking significant risks in their efforts to achieve climate goals. Fossil fuels are to be replaced by alternative energy sources as quickly as possible. In turn, the consumption of metallic raw materials is increasing to build renewable, energy-efficient systems. As Western countries increasingly strive to become independent of imports from Russia or China, domestic producers of critical raw materials, in particular, are likely to emerge as long-term winners.
