Infineon, BrainChip, Daimler, Volkswagen - High-tech stocks at their best!
The global automotive business is operating according to new laws. That is because e-mobility is a done deal, and if politicians' pronouncements are anything to go by, combustion engines will be history from 2030. As a result, the prerequisites for the industry are also changing because intelligent and powerful chips remain the basis for the further development of future mobility. Supply chains and Chinese reliability are still a problem, and high raw material prices will not make the new vehicles any cheaper. Innovations could be an effective means of combating the erosion of margins. Who is ahead in the market of high-tech players?

Altech Advanced Materials, Varta, Mercedes - This way!
The latest data from the Federal Statistical Office speak a clear language. E-cars are increasingly in demand. Around 90% of German e-car production is exported. "Made in Germany" therefore still scores points. The performance of the batteries, adequate infrastructure and the availability of essential raw materials such as lithium are important parameters for rapid market penetration. Innovations always remain the trump card. Germany certainly doesn't have to hide in this respect.

Mercedes-Benz, Edison Lithium, K+S - Strong gains from the start
Mercedes-Benz AG scores with a good return on cars and vans in the first quarter of this year. Luxury and electric, in particular, are selling like hotcakes. Despite the pandemic, delivery problems and the lapsed Russian business, shareholders are benefiting from the current share price. To meet the demand for electromobility, areas with mineral resources such as lithium and cobalt are becoming increasingly valuable. These metals are used in batteries to power electric vehicles. The fertilizer company K+S is also providing drive in the agricultural sector. With its products, farmers generate almost twice as much crop yield. However, this disturbs a delicate balance, prompting the German Federal Ministry of Research and Education to take action.

Chip industry booming: What are Mercedes partners BrainChip, Nvidia and Infineon doing?
Chip stocks are having a hard time at the moment, although the market is undersupplied and will probably remain so for some time. This was also highlighted by figures from semiconductor equipment supplier ASML. Orders at the world's largest supplier of lithography systems to semiconductor manufacturers were around EUR 7 billion in the first three months of 2022, well above market expectations. In addition, ASML has indicated targets through 2025. The Company intends to expand production capacities in view of the high demand. Mercedes partner BrainChip should also benefit from these positive industry prospects. And, of course, industry heavyweights such as Nvidia and Infineon.

Stocks for bargain hunters: Mercedes-Benz, Power Nickel, Netflix
Share prices are falling. The mix of inflation, the war in Ukraine and the Corona problem in China is weighing on share prices. Even positive economic data in the form of a friendly ifo Business Climate Index does not help. For savvy bargain hunters, falling prices in the face of friendly economic data may even be a good sign. If the market exaggerates on the downside, there could be opportunities in quality companies. We take a closer look at three stocks.

Nevada Copper, Mercedes-Benz, BYD - Price increase for copper expected
The battle for raw material supply chains is intensifying in light of the Ukraine crisis. Copper as a raw material is an indispensable component for electric vehicles. According to Goldman Sachs, due to the geopolitical upheavals, the price of copper may rise rapidly in the coming months. To ensure smooth supply chains, the Company is revisiting Cold War strategies and focusing on local resources. Nevada Copper, a copper supplier in the US, can support Mercedes-Benz's new battery plant. In China, Tesla competitor BYD Electronics is also working with the Stuttgart-based automotive giant to test the luxury segment.

Mercedes-Benz Group, Phoenix Copper, JinkoSolar: Learning from history
Investors who kept a cool head after the outbreak of the Corona pandemic in March 2020 were able to enjoy high profits in the months that followed. Immediately after the outbreak began, share prices around the world plummeted. The media proclaimed the end of the economy as we know it. While this was partly true, the markets' conclusions were initially wrong. Instead of economic decline, scarcity determined prices - until today. Even now, the markets are painting a gloomy scenario, right up to the apocalypse. It looks as if supply and demand will ultimately determine prices after all. For investors with a sharp focus and clear understanding, this can be an opportunity. We present three shares.

Panic oil price USD 130: Volkswagen, Porsche, Nevada Copper, Mercedes - Next push for e-mobility!
The panic moves in the oil and gas markets are making a trend increasingly apparent: For raw material importers, the historical dependence on fossil fuels is becoming unaffordable. Consequently, alternative energy and drive concepts are enjoying a renaissance, and GreenTech stocks are already the big winners. The same applies to copper: It is an essential metal for the high-tech industry due to its extreme conductivity. There has been a supply deficit since 2019, and the price has already quintupled in the years 2020 to early 2022. Who will close the dramatic gap?

BYD, Nevada Copper, Mercedes-Benz Group: Price shock also at the charging station
The fact that prices at gas pumps are constantly rising is nothing new for drivers. But with the price shock now also looming at charging stations, it is a new experience for many e-car drivers. Providers of charging infrastructures, such as EnBW, Tesla, Enel and Stadtwerke München, have raised their prices in recent months, in some cases significantly: The kilowatt-hour has become between 8% and 82% more expensive. What will happen now?
