Telecommunications and Energy with Almonty Industries, Vodafone and RWE - where is it worth starting?

  • Mining
  • Tungsten
  • renewableenergies
  • Telecommunications

At the Dubai Climate Conference COP28, 22 countries agreed to the expansion of nuclear power. A low-CO2 and highly efficient form of energy generation, albeit with some associated risks. However, the construction of nuclear power plants requires a very special metal: tungsten. This is reason enough for investors to take a closer look at the Almonty Industries share. Almonty Industries is a company that focuses on tungsten extraction and production and operates exclusively in democratically governed countries. Tungsten is used in the telecommunications industry, among others. For Vodafone, a European and African company in this segment, the raw material tungsten is essential for further growth. The Group has been in crisis to date. How far have they progressed in the turnaround? For those who focus more on energy providers than suppliers like Almonty, RWE is a must. RWE generates and trades electricity in the Asia-Pacific region, Europe and the United States. Find out here where new projects and further cash flows are opening up.

Climate Conference and Nel disappoint. BASF and Saturn Oil + Gas shares recommended as Buy

  • renewableenergies

The World Climate Conference has disappointed - at least for anyone who had hoped for a clear stance on the end of fossil fuels. Negotiations on the final declaration took place throughout the night in Dubai. The result is sobering. The farewell to fossil fuels is only vaguely described. It has become clear in recent weeks that fossil fuels are here to stay for the foreseeable future and that their lobby is strong. Instead of new impetus, shareholders of Nel ASA received further bad news. The hydrogen pioneer had to announce the cancellation of a major order. And that is not all. BASF, on the other hand, has a tailwind. The share has been upgraded from "Sell" to "Buy". Analysts see more than 200% upside potential for Saturn Oil & Gas. The high cash flow enables the oil producer to expand production and reduce debt.

dynaCERT, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz - Renewable energies in focus, feasibility and speed are key

  • Hydrogen
  • greenhydrogen
  • Electromobility
  • renewableenergies

This year's international climate conference, "COP28", is coming to an end with a strong statement. For the first time, the participating nations have committed themselves in writing to developing their energy resources away from fossil fuels and towards renewable energies. Host country Dubai, under the patronage of Sultan Al Jaber, achieved consensus among all participating countries. According to the agreement, countries are called upon to contribute to a global transition rather than being directly forced to implement this change independently. A company like dynaCERT, which has been campaigning for years for a CO₂-reducing hybrid solution to power diesel trucks in the logistics sector, could be on the verge of a breakthrough. The Company has already raised CAD 2.0 million in gross proceeds from an ongoing private placement, which it will now use to expand its technology. Meanwhile, Volkswagen plans to hire around 3,000 engineers in China to keep pace in the EV market. Mercedes-Benz, meanwhile, is expanding its offering in Dubai with an unusual move to maximize profits...

Climate conference and Venice turns green! Oil remains in demand; goodbye hydrogen? Nel ASA, Prospera Energy and Plug Power in Focus

  • Hydrogen
  • Oil
  • renewableenergies

Too little, too slow, too half-hearted! Climate activists in Italy have drawn attention to themselves with a spectacular campaign. The "Extinction Rebellion" group members painted the famous Grand Canal in Venice fluorescent green. Some activists abseiled from the Rialto Bridge over the central canal of the northern Italian lagoon city on Saturday afternoon and poured dye into the water. Their action was intended to protest against the "ridiculous progress" made at the COP28 World Climate Conference in Dubai. "We are tired, we have had enough of being taken for fools by our governments and knowing that our future is in danger while politicians do nothing," they said in a statement to the press. How do we tackle the energy issues of the future? A look at selected energy stocks paints a clear picture.

Following the recent year-end rally on the world's stock markets, the chances of further price gains are good. Even in the last month of an eventful stock market year, plenty of activity remains. The course is being set with regard to the strategic goals for a successful 2024 as a whole. In addition, even in mid-December, major capital measures must be finalized before the books are closed.

Infineon, First Hydrogen, Plug Power - Opportunities upon opportunities in decarbonization

  • Hydrogen
  • renewableenergies
  • fuelcell

Once again, 2023 was a stock market year to forget for companies in the renewable energy sector. Share price falls of around 70% for market-leading companies were the rule rather than the exception. However, decarbonization is underway, demand is rising, and the potential is huge. As a result, there are tremendous long-term opportunities for disproportionately high share price gains in selected stocks.

Snow chaos and climate madness, who is playing in the Premier League of the energy transition? Nel ASA, Power Nickel and Plug Power under the microscope

  • Mining
  • Nickel
  • BatteryMetals
  • renewableenergies
  • Energy

Snow chaos and new record highs. While the DAX 40 demonstrates itself as the world's best blue-chip index, the German economy is currently navigating downward. It is not the earnings outlook that is presently driving share prices but the hope of lower interest rates. Meanwhile, the endless climate debates in Dubai continue. Among realists, however, there must be fears that the local oil lobby will not let a German know-it-all put a stop to the lavish margins with fossil fuels. There will, at least, be a friendly Arab nod to the 2050 climate goals and exclusive indulgence for the high-ranking German delegation. Whether this justifies federal expenditure of more than EUR 50 million is something we will leave uncommented. More important is a look at the top titles of the upcoming energy transition - where is the next 100 percenter lurking?

Siemens Energy, Defense Metals, Rheinmetall - Rare earths as a risk factor

  • Mining
  • RareEarths
  • renewableenergies
  • armaments

The scarcity of and access to rare earths has become a major global concern. China plays a decisive role in the production of rare earths, as the country mines 60% of all rare earths worldwide and processes 85% of them. After the US banned the export of AI chips, China considered banning the export of rare earth metals. These trade blockades from both sides are causing tensions in international trade relations and concerns about supply bottlenecks. Rare earths play an important role in wind power, armaments, medicine, electromobility and the electronics industry. As an investor, one should be aware of these risks.

More than 30% with Plug Power, Siemens Energy, and Globex Mining! What is next?

  • Mining

  • Energy
  • fuelcell

Is the Plug Power share about to triple? Despite being one of the disappointments of 2023 along with Siemens Energy, both shares have risen in recent days. And analysts see further upside potential. The price target for the hydrogen specialist, in particular, is surprising. On the other hand, Globex Mining is performing well operationally throughout 2023. The shares of the mining incubator from North America have gained over 30% in value this year, outperforming commodity giants such as Barrick Gold. The Canadians' recent transaction shows that the business model has potential and is appealing to investors.

COP28 Climate Summit in Dubai boosts uranium shares! Cameco, GoviEx Uranium, Siemens Energy and E.ON in focus

With a raised finger, Chancellor Scholz calls for a global shift away from fossil fuels in Dubai. Climate change remains "the great global challenge of our time". He is thus appealing to the almost 200 countries, which are holding energetic consultations until mid-December, to join in the energy transition formulated in Germany. Specifically, he proposed an agreement on two binding targets that are already consensus among the industrialized countries of the G20: One is to triple the expansion of renewable energy, and the other is to double energy efficiency - both by the year 2030. So far, more than 110 countries have agreed to expand green energy production at this rate. However, there is also the opposing party: around 20 countries want to almost triple their investment in nuclear energy. Where are the winners hiding?
