Altech Advanced Materials, Varta, Mercedes - This way!
The latest data from the Federal Statistical Office speak a clear language. E-cars are increasingly in demand. Around 90% of German e-car production is exported. "Made in Germany" therefore still scores points. The performance of the batteries, adequate infrastructure and the availability of essential raw materials such as lithium are important parameters for rapid market penetration. Innovations always remain the trump card. Germany certainly doesn't have to hide in this respect.

Varta, Nevada Copper, E.ON - Shares for the electrification of tomorrow
More and more people are gaining access to electricity. In order to make this possible, copper is needed because this industrial metal is the best conductor of electricity. Due to the upheaval in the energy industry towards renewable energies and the electrification of vehicles, demand is increasing. Supply cannot keep pace. Although 2021 copper production has increased by 2.2%, it is only 0.3% above the pre-Corona level. That explains the significant increase in copper prices, and we can expect a supply deficit in 2022 as well. We look at three companies for the electrification of tomorrow.

BioNTech, BYD and Desert Gold: Shares for the rebound
Is the rebound coming? After the heavy price losses of recent days and weeks, the market seems ripe for a countermovement. However, this would require a little more volume in the market. But then, especially companies that have not disappointed operationally should profit. BioNTech, for example, belongs to this group. The Company has published convincing figures, and analysts see up to 50% price potential. BYD's share price should also pick up speed again. Finally, the rapid shift to electric pureplay seems to be succeeding and HSBC has raised the price target. Gold was not a safe haven in the current correction. But it is worth looking at bombed-out stocks here as well. Desert Gold Ventures is one of them. The explorer has started a new drill program and secured financing.

BYD, Nevada Copper, XPeng - New opportunities for copper shares
After a brilliant year on the stock market in 2021 and reaching new 10-year highs, the copper price reached new highs again at the beginning of March, after the start of the Ukraine conflict. Since then, the base price has been correcting at a high level. However, due to the plan of politicians to practice an even faster switch to renewable energies, the demand for the elementary red metal is increasing significantly. Experts forecast a new supercycle for the next few years. Producers of the scarce commodity are the primary beneficiaries of this trend.

BYD and Altech with strong news: Hope for BioNTech shares?
Rising interest rates, the war in Ukraine, lockdowns in China and recession fears: the current global mix is not conducive to rising share prices, but there is also positive news from companies. Among them is BYD. The largest Chinese manufacturer of electric cars has published quarterly figures and thus convinced analysts. In addition, BYD is celebrating the delivery anniversary of its flagship. The share of Altech Advanced Materials is also currently stepping on the gas. A study has confirmed that the planned production plant of the Heidelberg-based Company can be highly profitable. With the plant, Altech wants to stir up the market for lithium-ion batteries. BioNTech shareholders are still waiting for positive news - but there is hope.

Standard Lithium, Power Nickel, Varta - Shares for the e-mobility of the future
Decarbonization is a done deal among the major industrialized nations. Fossil fuels are to be used less and less, thus reducing emissions. The climate targets can only be achieved through a show of strength. The revolution began in early 2021 when the major car companies said goodbye to internal combustion engines. The future belongs to electric vehicles, which rely on batteries or rechargeable batteries. Since then, the prices for lithium, nickel and the like have skyrocketed. Smaller companies that want to take advantage of the imbalance in supply and demand also benefit from this. Today, we take a look at three companies that could be important for the mobility of the future.

BASF, Standard Lithium, Almonty Industries, BYD - Industrial shares in focus: Now it matters!
Poland and Bulgaria no longer receive gas from Russia because they cannot pay in hard rubles. Feat: No one has larger stocks of this exotic currency because until now, all energy deliveries could be paid for in foreign currency. The situation has reached a new level of escalation between the Russian government and resource-hungry Central Europe. With further arms deliveries, this political issue will become even more acute. We look at existing dependencies and the dangers for German industrial stocks.

Mercedes-Benz, Edison Lithium, K+S - Strong gains from the start
Mercedes-Benz AG scores with a good return on cars and vans in the first quarter of this year. Luxury and electric, in particular, are selling like hotcakes. Despite the pandemic, delivery problems and the lapsed Russian business, shareholders are benefiting from the current share price. To meet the demand for electromobility, areas with mineral resources such as lithium and cobalt are becoming increasingly valuable. These metals are used in batteries to power electric vehicles. The fertilizer company K+S is also providing drive in the agricultural sector. With its products, farmers generate almost twice as much crop yield. However, this disturbs a delicate balance, prompting the German Federal Ministry of Research and Education to take action.

Never invest like Elon Musk! Twitter, Phoenix Copper, BYD
Data is the raw material of the 21st century. Looking at the war in Ukraine and the pandemic, one could also speak of information as an important raw material. After all, data has to be interpreted. In a world that is becoming increasingly complex, some data can be used to draw different and sometimes contradictory conclusions. That makes it all the more important for data to become information and for competent experts to interpret data. Elon Musk's acquisition of Twitter is expected to encourage this. But what does this mean for investors?
