TUI, Barsele Minerals, BYD: Some stock speculations can be expensive
The question of war and peace leaves many gray areas open. Humanitarian corridors, cease-fires, reduction of military intensity - what these terms truly mean must remain an open question after the events of the past days and weeks. The only thing that is certain is that the world needs time to find a new order after the pandemic, climate change and the war in Europe. Until then, chaos remains. What can investors still rely on in the midst of this chaos? We explain using three stocks as examples.

Varta, Phoenix Copper, JinkoSolar, Nordex: Numbers upon numbers, where is the explosive?
The copper price reached its preliminary high on March 7, 2022, at around USD 10,730. Since then, we have seen a standard consolidation of 3-4%, which is not an unusual occurrence in the present uptrend. Thus, the coveted metal has exploded by over 100% since the beginning of 2020. Large mining groups and copper mines have often been able to post a multiple of this performance for themselves in the same period. For many market participants, the medium-term upward scenario for the industrial metal remains set. Since the political closing of ranks on e-mobility, demand for copper and battery metals has shot through the roof. Mine operators and governments worldwide are alarmed because the current recoverable capacities cover just 85% of the current year's demand. Who can close the gap?

Nordex, Altech Advanced Materials, Varta - Winners of the energy turnaround!
Renewable energy generation and energy storage are taking on an increasingly important role. The challenges for the infrastructure with decentralized energy sources are also increasing. Given the explosively rising lithium prices, which are essential for the production of batteries, innovations are gaining importance. Some solutions have the potential to powerfully shake up the industry. Long-term investors can profit from the megatrends in various ways.

Attention: BYD, Edgemont Gold, Delivery Hero, MorphoSys - Shares with the highest dynamics!
The intensity of fluctuation on the capital markets remains high. It is measured by volatility indices such as the EU Vola Index or the VIX on the S&P 500. Both indices had risen well above 30 at the beginning of the crisis, with the EU Vola Index even reaching a peak of 43.3% on March 7. At the beginning of the Corona Lockdown in February 2020, this index rose overnight to values of over 70%. Although these volatility coefficients are slowly trending downwards due to political easing tendencies, hedgers on the derivatives markets are pricing volatility into their products at a higher price. So those who are currently trading options may experience their blue miracle with Vola changes overnight. Some stocks have recently jumped in this environment; where are the opportunities?

Infineon, Edison Lithium, BYD - Raw material shortage for electric cars
The shift from combustion engines to electric cars poses new challenges for production. An electric vehicle requires significantly more chips, more copper and more raw materials such as nickel and lithium for the batteries. Most recently, the nickel price climbed to over USD 100,000 per ton, partly due to the sanctions against Russia. But the price of lithium is rising. The demand for batteries is still significantly higher than the supply after the rethinking of the automotive industry. Today, we highlight two problem areas and look at an electric vehicle manufacturer.

Power Nickel, BYD, Alibaba - Prices continue to rise
The electric mobility market is picking up steam, with the world's third-largest EV maker BYD entering into a joint venture with Nvidia to push autonomous driving cars. In California, the Company is recording the deployment of zero-emission buses - all battery-powered. The energy transition is dramatically increasing the demand for nickel. Power Nickel is exploring for nickel outside China in particular. The highlight: the nickel there is ideally suited for electric car batteries. And then every Alibaba (BABA) investor can consider themselves lucky: the Company sees its share price jump.

Is this the end for e-car stocks like Tesla? Rock Tech Lithium, Edison Lithium, Volkswagen
More and more e-cars are on our roads, but Handelsblatt sees the e-car boom in danger. What's going on? The leading German medium for business and markets is concerned about the rising prices for battery metals and points, among other things, to the price of nickel, which almost doubled within a few days in March alone. Is there now a threat of a damper on the e-car hype? Or are developments in the sector separating the wheat from the chaff? We take a look at three stocks and explain what they are all about.

Rheinmetall, Altech Advanced Materials, K+S - Seizing the momentum
Since the outbreak of the Ukraine conflict about three weeks ago and the announcement of sanctions against Russian goods and companies, the winners and losers on the stock market have clearly emerged. While defense companies were not an investment object for fund managers or private investors from an ethical point of view in the recent past, there is now a strong investment in companies such as Rheinmetall, Hensoldt & Co. At the same time, no defense contracts have yet been awarded by the German government, nor is it clear whether the necessary raw materials will be available. Therefore, it would come as little surprise if the currently inflated valuations were to implode soon.

Nevada Copper, Mercedes-Benz, BYD - Price increase for copper expected
The battle for raw material supply chains is intensifying in light of the Ukraine crisis. Copper as a raw material is an indispensable component for electric vehicles. According to Goldman Sachs, due to the geopolitical upheavals, the price of copper may rise rapidly in the coming months. To ensure smooth supply chains, the Company is revisiting Cold War strategies and focusing on local resources. Nevada Copper, a copper supplier in the US, can support Mercedes-Benz's new battery plant. In China, Tesla competitor BYD Electronics is also working with the Stuttgart-based automotive giant to test the luxury segment.

BYD, First Hydrogen, Continental - Hydrogen and e-mobility: Shares with huge potential
Germany must become more independent in terms of energy supply in the future. The war between Russia and Ukraine in the middle of Europe ruthlessly demonstrates how much the Federal Republic of Germany is at the mercy of fossil fuels. Now, at the latest, it should be apparent to every skeptic that the expansion of renewable energies and the transformation in the transport sector must proceed all the more quickly. The opportunities for the companies involved are enormous.
