COP28 - Acting on climate change in 2024! Nel ASA, Manuka Resources, BYD and VW - more than 200% is possible
Despite all reservations, the science is unanimous! Failing to limit global warming will pose significant risks to humanity in the next two decades. At the end of the World Climate Conference in Dubai, the revised resolution text was adopted without objection by almost 200 countries. COP28 President Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber described the outcome as "historic" and a "foundation for transformative change". The agreement calls for a global transition away from fossil fuels. It is thus the first resolution of a UN climate conference that concerns the future of all energies - including oil, natural gas, and coal. Criticism and rejection came from the Gulf States, as they intend to continue their "Affordable Oil & Gas from the desert sand" business model. How do typical GreenTech shares react to the latest climate policy?

Volkswagen, Desert Gold Ventures, Morphosys - Position for the rebound
Last week's interest rate decision in the USA was the final starting signal for further price rises. In addition to equities, gold, silver, and several cryptocurrencies also shot up. Therefore, the last weeks of the year should end with further positive signs. Despite the record high in many indices, there are increasing rebound opportunities that could outperform the broad market in the near future.

Telecommunications and Energy with Almonty Industries, Vodafone and RWE - where is it worth starting?
At the Dubai Climate Conference COP28, 22 countries agreed to the expansion of nuclear power. A low-CO2 and highly efficient form of energy generation, albeit with some associated risks. However, the construction of nuclear power plants requires a very special metal: tungsten. This is reason enough for investors to take a closer look at the Almonty Industries share. Almonty Industries is a company that focuses on tungsten extraction and production and operates exclusively in democratically governed countries. Tungsten is used in the telecommunications industry, among others. For Vodafone, a European and African company in this segment, the raw material tungsten is essential for further growth. The Group has been in crisis to date. How far have they progressed in the turnaround? For those who focus more on energy providers than suppliers like Almonty, RWE is a must. RWE generates and trades electricity in the Asia-Pacific region, Europe and the United States. Find out here where new projects and further cash flows are opening up.

Climate Conference and Nel disappoint. BASF and Saturn Oil + Gas shares recommended as Buy
The World Climate Conference has disappointed - at least for anyone who had hoped for a clear stance on the end of fossil fuels. Negotiations on the final declaration took place throughout the night in Dubai. The result is sobering. The farewell to fossil fuels is only vaguely described. It has become clear in recent weeks that fossil fuels are here to stay for the foreseeable future and that their lobby is strong. Instead of new impetus, shareholders of Nel ASA received further bad news. The hydrogen pioneer had to announce the cancellation of a major order. And that is not all. BASF, on the other hand, has a tailwind. The share has been upgraded from "Sell" to "Buy". Analysts see more than 200% upside potential for Saturn Oil & Gas. The high cash flow enables the oil producer to expand production and reduce debt.

dynaCERT, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz - Renewable energies in focus, feasibility and speed are key
This year's international climate conference, "COP28", is coming to an end with a strong statement. For the first time, the participating nations have committed themselves in writing to developing their energy resources away from fossil fuels and towards renewable energies. Host country Dubai, under the patronage of Sultan Al Jaber, achieved consensus among all participating countries. According to the agreement, countries are called upon to contribute to a global transition rather than being directly forced to implement this change independently. A company like dynaCERT, which has been campaigning for years for a CO₂-reducing hybrid solution to power diesel trucks in the logistics sector, could be on the verge of a breakthrough. The Company has already raised CAD 2.0 million in gross proceeds from an ongoing private placement, which it will now use to expand its technology. Meanwhile, Volkswagen plans to hire around 3,000 engineers in China to keep pace in the EV market. Mercedes-Benz, meanwhile, is expanding its offering in Dubai with an unusual move to maximize profits...

Morphosys, Power Nickel, Nvidia - A pre-Christmas gift
The stock market year 2023 brought with it a lot of volatility and no let-up in both geopolitical and fiscal policy upheavals. Nevertheless, Germany's leading index, the DAX, broke through to a new all-time high, while the precious metal gold also shot up to its highest level ever. On Monday, shareholders of the biotech company Morphosys also experienced a pre-Christmas gift, with an impressive gain of 30% at the end of the trading day.

Uranium, lithium or gold? The climate conference tells us which way to go! BYD, Globex Mining, VW and Mercedes!
At the international climate conference in Dubai, several Arab countries sharply criticized and ultimately rejected the global move away from fossil fuels. The move by Western countries is an "aggressive attack", said Kuwaiti Oil Minister Saad Hamad Nasser al-Barrak yesterday, Tuesday. "I am astonished by this extraordinary insistence on depriving people and many countries of their basic source of energy. This approach is racist and colonialist," al-Barrak continued. This means that there will be no decision on a global phase-out of oil and gas with the OPEC states. Therefore, the current World Climate Conference is likely to be inconclusive or conclude with unilateral declarations from the EU. However, there is much to suggest that commodities that positively impact the global climate will remain on the import list of industrialized countries. Which shares should be considered in this mixed situation?

Several 100% upside potential? BioNTech, Bayer, Cardiol Therapeutics and Evotec in analyst check
We take a look at analysts' opinions on biotech and pharmaceutical stocks. Jefferies recently renewed its "Buy" recommendation for Evotec with a target price of EUR 34. The latest partnerships confirm that the Company's unique business model is working. The situation at Bayer is quite different. While the CEO is announcing radical changes, analysts are slashing their price targets, in some cases significantly. In contrast, analysts believe that Cardiol Therapeutics could achieve several 100% gains. The cash register is full to bursting, and an exciting news flow can be expected in 2024. At BioNTech, only the cash position is currently convincing. However, this is not enough for a buy recommendation.

Rock Tech Lithium, Klimat X Developments, Plug Power - Which GreenTechs have potential?
GreenTech companies have become increasingly important in recent years as they focus on developing and disseminating technologies that promote environmental protection. One example of this is lithium refinement, which is required for the production of batteries for electric vehicles. Another crucial topic is CO2 certificates, which companies can purchase to offset their emissions. Hydrogen technology is also becoming increasingly important, as it is seen as a clean alternative to fossil fuels. We have selected a candidate from each sector and are examining their potential.

Game Changer in Cancer - The Biotech Gold List for 2024! MorphoSys, Defence Therapeutics, BioNTech and Bayer
The International Agency for Research on Cancer estimates the number of cancer deaths worldwide for the year 2022 to be around 10 million. However, the number of new cancer cases in the same year amounted to around 20 million, and cancer is still considered incurable. Lung cancer remains the sad frontrunner, claiming the most lives worldwide. Colorectal and stomach cancer follow at a considerable distance. However, since the original launch of the "Cancer Moonshot" in 2016, the fight against this incurable disease in the US has made some progress in the realization of therapies. Recently, there has been an increase in success stories from many biotech companies, and investors' enthusiasm is palpable once again. Where are the Biotech game changers lurking for the 2024 investment year?
