NEL, Plug Power, Royal Helium - Hydrogen rally, now it's rolling!

  • Helium

Only months ago, the comparatively expensive production of green hydrogen was put side by side with cheap Russian gas. Things can move that fast! The gas price has risen by 500% within 3 months, and the calculations are being recalculated. The explosive development of prices in the last 12 months shows how strongly shortages can affect the raw materials market. On average, known commodities increased by at least 25%, metals by 60-80% and energy doubled just like that. However, gas takes the cake with plus 600% in just 6 months, which gets the hydrogen industry buzzing. We take a closer look.

NEL, Clean Logistics, Ballard Power, FuelCell Energy - Hydrogen in the third wave!

  • Hydrogen

The hydrogen hype is entering its third wave. The price increase of fossil fuels increases the pressure to switch to alternative energies and new propulsion concepts. Governments around the world have therefore decided on rapid decarbonization. For the EU, the resolutions were already passed in 2020. In the USA, Joe Biden has now extended his environmental package to USD 1.5 billion. The market will decide whether battery or hydrogen technology will play a greater role here; the only important thing is quickly releasing the funds to finance the upcoming research projects. Time is pressing because the pandemic has put many industries on the sidelines. The transport industry, in particular, depends on the sale of goods, and in the future, this should occur without any negative environmental impact.

Nel, BYD, BrainChip: This looks good

  • Technology

While shares from the technology sector have been very volatile in recent weeks, the knot has burst at BYD, and the share has risen to a new record high. Rumors about Tesla and Apple have contributed to this. Both are said to be in talks with the Chinese specialist around electric mobility. The shares of Nel and BrainChip have also developed very positively recently. Both have invested heavily and could now reap the rewards of these investments. All three shares have further room for improvement. You can read why here.

Nel ASA, First Hydrogen, Nikola - Fully on schedule

  • Hydrogen

Time is pressing. From 2025, stricter emission targets issued by the European Union will apply, which gasoline and diesel engines will not meet. Due to the energy transition and decarbonization, carmakers globally are turning to battery-powered electric cars. However, electric mobility is unsuitable for transportation due to its short-range and long charging time. Here, the advantage currently lies very clearly with fuel cell technology.

NEL, First Hydrogen, Rock Tech Lithium: Why investors must rethink now

  • Hydrogen

For months, stocks related to innovative mobility concepts lived in the shadows. After the hype of last year and the first few months of this year, the former high-flyers seemed to have run out of steam. But the wind has changed. Investors' appetite for risk is high again. A few weeks ago, the market would have shrugged its shoulders at best, but now it is attracting buyers. For investors who think speculatively, this is excellent news!

Varta, Graphano Energy, Nel ASA - Who will deliver the super battery?

  • graphite

The race for the most powerful battery stops at many stations. On the one hand, it is about battery efficiency as a basic fact of the climate discussion. On the other hand, many producers wonder where all the battery metals should come from if every second EU citizen switches to e-mobility in the next few years. Neither the charging infrastructure nor resilient batteries are available at the moment, so the whole planning is actually still fraught with a lot of dreaming - nevertheless, the necessary metals are going through the roof in terms of price. The reason is that those sitting on the metals are turning the price screw, even if the actual excess demand will probably only arise in 2-3 years. We are looking at values that are in the middle of the typhoon.

Nel ASA, dynaCERT, Plug Power - Hydrogen is part of the energy turnaround

  • Hydrogen

If the upcoming German government wants to achieve the energy transition and banish all fossil fuels such as coal, oil and gas, part of the solution lies with hydrogen. On particularly sunny or windy days, some of the green electricity generated is simply lost. To avoid overloading the power lines, some of the electricity is given away abroad. Using this energy to produce green hydrogen would make the energy produced both storable and portable. If the price per kg of hydrogen could be reduced significantly, the greatest potential for this technology would automatically arise.

Varta, Enapter, NEL: Where hydrogen pays off directly

  • Hydrogen

It is turnaround time! Never before in history will so much be changing as in the next five years. The energy turnaround is switching our supply to renewable energy sources and new storage options, and the mobility turnaround will ensure that electric motors will soon dominate the roads. Although it is clear where the journey is headed, shares based on the new technology offer highly diverse opportunities. We take a look at three stocks.

NEL, GSP Resource, China Evergrande: How to find the doublers

  • Copper

Speculative investments are the salt in the soup on the stock market. Of course, those who rely on ETFs and funds over the long term via a savings plan can already do a lot better than the vast majority of savers. However, those who develop a good knack for speculative individual stocks can give their portfolio a growth kick. Even if many newcomers to the stock market can hardly believe it: 100% and more is possible. Using three stocks as examples, we explain what is important and what is not a good prerequisite for investment.

Royal Helium, Gazprom, NEL - Now it is worth taking another look!

  • Helium

Helium is a sought-after noble gas essential for numerous applications due to its outstanding chemical and physical properties. It is used, for example, as a non-conductive, non-reactive coolant in medical laboratory equipment or in space rockets. It is also in demand in the electronics and nuclear industries. On Earth, helium occurs only in very low concentrations in the atmosphere due to its high volatility, although it is the second most abundant element in the universe after hydrogen. Helium is often a byproduct of oil and gas production. How can investors profit?
