Sometimes things do not work out as expected on the stock market. At the beginning of October, the DAX started to sell off, the 200-day line was clearly undercut twice at 14,850 points, and many crash prophets became quite loud again. However, as is so often the case, they were not proven right, as the market reached the 15,700 point mark again at the beginning of December. Of course, 500 points are still missing from the high, but it feels like the overall market is bombproof and probably will not let itself get out of control. Who would have thought it - a full 1000 points reversal, the crash proclaimed by many sides was once again canceled without a sound. We present a few favorable titles.

Currently, the volatility in certain market segments is hard to beat. The DAX reached its preliminary high of over 16,300 points; yesterday, it fell below 16,000 again within one trading day. Bitcoin also made true leaps up to USD 67,000 and later back down to USD 56,000. Since the central banks had to admit to a certain inflation potential, market participants have been considering the right investment vehicle for a permanent rise in prices. Is it still the stock markets, or shouldn't long-term interest rates also slowly gain momentum? Here, there has been a zero return for a good 5 years, and in real terms today, there is even a whopping minus interest rate of over 4%. The stock markets reached new highs again last week. The inclined observer is starting to wonder what is always celebrated here from one week to the next? Governments are again imposing different measures to combat the pandemic. Even the lockdown is becoming socially acceptable again due to the standards in Austria. Many had hoped that the vaccinations would have given us a better winter than last year. However, due to historical infection figures in Germany, this does not seem to be the case. Anyone who still believes in a flourishing economy here must have strong nerves. We are looking at a few companies that can continue to grow strongly despite the pandemic.

The stock markets continue to run upwards. Germany's leading index, the DAX 40, once again marked a new all-time high of over 16,250 points. Even though minor corrections are normal, market experts expect the next target to be in the area of 17,400 points. The chart picture on the gold market has also changed positively. Should the USD 1,900 per ounce mark be cracked, the precious metal is about to storm the old highs.
