High-tech boom 3.0! Is another 100% possible with Palantir, SAP, MiMedia, and TeamViewer?

Artificial intelligence and big data remain the big topics on the stock markets alongside defense. This is leading to daily gains for high-tech and defense stocks. Investors increasingly appear to view the capital markets as a one-way street, with valuations seemingly taking a back seat. Interestingly, Europe is ahead of the US. Since the tariff dip in April alone, the EURO STOXX 50 has gained around 20%. With Israel's attack on Iran, some uncertainty is now entering the market. However, many investors do not believe the big bull market will change. Only the Shiller P/E ratio for the S&P 500, at over 36, is a cause for caution, given that the long-term average is around 17. But does anyone care? The party is in full swing, and critics are not welcome. So, where do the opportunities lie in the weeks ahead?

4,000% stock Carvana: TeamViewer, Bitcoin Group, Zalando, and Credissential offer opportunities

Away from the big tech stocks, multipliers are waiting. One example from the US is Carvana, which has risen 4,000% in two years. Credissential aims to challenge the online used car dealer. The startup wants to provide brick-and-mortar used car dealers with a response against Carvana using artificial intelligence. Scaling is planned for 2025. If successful, the stock is much too cheap. In the DAX, Zalando offers significant upside potential. The online retailer is back on the growth path and plans to compete with Shein and Temu through the acquisition of About You, with analysts recommending a "Buy". By contrast, TeamViewer's stock lacks momentum. Analyst opinions are divided. And is the Bitcoin Group stock finally waking up?

Global stock markets continue to head north and find themselves in the midst of a year-end rally despite the uncertainties in geopolitics. This rally is likely fueled by the ongoing easing on the interest rate front. The DAX, Germany's leading index, remains close to the critical 16,000-point mark. In addition, technology companies that have corrected sharply in recent months will likely face a sharp wave of recovery.

The past weeks have brought many negative surprises with the publication of the figures for the third quarter. Last week, in addition to Volkswagen, Mercedes Benz and Hypoport also lowered their forecasts. However, there were also companies that performed better than expected by the consensus of analysts despite the difficult conditions. It is precisely here that enormous turnaround opportunities lie due to the consolidation of the past months.

TeamViewer with 100% rally: Now bet on HelloFresh, Infineon and Aspermont?

The TeamViewer share has put on an impressive rally in the past six months. Since October, the stock has gained almost 100% and is trading at over EUR 15. From JP Morgan's point of view, this is too much. The analysts expect little growth momentum and recommend the share with "Underweight". The target price is EUR 12. In contrast, the shares of Infineon, HelloFresh and Aspermont are recommended as buys. HelloFresh and Aspermont, in particular, did not participate in the tech rally of the past months and have catch-up potential. Experts even see more than 100% price potential.

The reporting season for the third quarter is exhilarating. It can be seen that stocks, which in some cases suffered exaggerated price losses in recent months, are starting to jump in price simply because their forecasts have been confirmed. Something similar could also happen in the precious metals sector. Should the monetary authorities loosen the monetary policy again in the coming months, this should result in a rally in gold and silver mining stocks.

Nordex, Aspermont, TeamViewer AG - New opportunities for growth stocks

  • Technology
  • Growth
  • Investments

The skies for growth stocks have clouded over considerably since the beginning of the year with the change in strategy by the central banks. With all their might, the monetary guardians want to curb rampant inflation with several interest rate hikes. This week, the Fed is expected to make a third major interest rate hike, with experts predicting a rise of 100 basis points. However, whether further interest rate steps will follow is likely to be at least questioned. If the fight against inflation continues to be played as a trump card for the re-election of the current government until the midterm elections in the US, a change of strategy is likely to be made afterwards at the latest in order not to bring the economy to a complete standstill. The result would be a bullish stock market, with growth stocks in particular likely to benefit significantly.

The technology sector has been in a sharp correction for months. The leading technology index from the US alone, the Nasdaq-100, recorded price losses of around 34% up to its low. Since the middle of last month, a countermovement has set in. However, many companies are still at an interesting entry level. Currently, the season for the publication of the figures for the second quarter is also underway. Here it becomes clear which companies you can build on in the future or which title you should remove from your portfolio.

No one would have thought that a warlike conflict in Eastern Europe could mutate into a medium-term threat to Western prosperity. It can! The dependence on fossil energy is still far too strong in the European economies to manage without regular supplies from the East. As a result, since the end of February, the markets have been extremely nervous, as seen from the volatility indices, which yesterday were close to 30. The interpretation is: to expect about 30% volatility in the stock market within the next 12 months. Nobody would mind if it would swing exceptionally upward. Below are a few sparkling investment ideas.
