Lithium circular economy and new deposits: Mercedes-Benz Group, Edison Lithium, Varta

  • Mining
  • Lithium
  • Batteries

Progress is continuously being made in the field of e-cars. However, companies can never get around one substance in electromobility: lithium. We explain where lithium comes from, what recycling options are available and how modern technology can get as much out of the "white gold" as possible, using the shares of Mercedes-Benz Group, Edison Lithium and Varta as examples. Let's go!

Watch out! BASF, Varta, Barsele Minerals and Nordex - These shares are mastering the energy crisis

  • Mining
  • Gold
  • GreenTech
  • Technology

Renewable energies are one of the most important factors when it comes to a green lifestyle. After all, modern man wants to remain mobile, even if fossil resources no longer harmonize with the concepts of the future. For years, there were extensive studies that primary energy sources such as oil and gas, which have been locked up for millions of years, should not be released into the atmosphere. The scientists were not heard for a long time, and now after substantial climatic changes, attempts are being made to turn the tide using all means at their disposal. Too late? Perhaps, but many companies are positioning themselves correctly now. We keep an eye on these values.

E-cars? This is what matters now! Mercedes-Benz Group, Altech Advanced Materials, Varta

  • Electromobility
  • E-Cars
  • Sustainability

Higher, faster, further: That is the claim of the automotive industry for new e-car models. In fact, a lot has happened in recent years. From e-cars made in France, which at best managed around 200km, to sedans that now travel 1,000km, the development is great. Nevertheless, the comparison between small cars, sedans or SUVs is limp. Reason enough to take a closer look at what really makes e-cars better, using three listed companies as examples.

Climate change brings GreenTech stocks into focus: Varta, Nordex, JinkoSolar and Globex Mining

  • Mining
  • Commodities
  • GreenTech

More than three quarters of the world's population lives in countries that do not support Western sanctions against Putin. In countries like China, India, Brazil, South Africa and many more, there is little sign of Western morality, restrictions, shortages and price explosions. If anything, the measures imposed by the United States and the EU against the aggressor have strengthened these states and provided their own economies with complex conditions. As a result, the coming recession will be more local and most severe in those areas where energy supplies and replenishments are tight. The markets have long since reacted, and most commodities - with the exception of energy - have already undergone a major correction. If one wants to be successful on the stock market today, one must think in new paradigms because globalization is currently making a huge roll backwards. Where are the opportunities?

Varta at EUR 64 or EUR 102? Will BioNTech and Kleos Space make the breakout?

  • Space
  • Biotechnology
  • Electromobility

The stock market environment is currently friendly, and technology stocks, in particular, are in a recovery rally. Investors are driven by the hope that inflation will weaken and that an end to the interest rate increase cycle of the US Federal Reserve will at least become foreseeable. If this were the case, we would not be in a bear market rally, but at the beginning of a new bull market. But not all stocks have been able to benefit from the good mood in recent weeks. Rightly so? In the case of Varta, the answer is yes - the Company shocked shareholders with a profit warning on Saturday. However, the price targets of analysts diverge significantly. The BioNTech share is unusually quiet. There is positive news from the Company itself and its partner Pfizer. With the quarterly figures next week, an attempt to break out of the sideways trend could take place. Kleos Space is also currently making this attempt. Investors are positioning themselves with the high-tech company in preparation for the next milestone.

Nel ASA, Altech Advanced Materials, Varta - Gamechanger in the battery market?

  • Technology
  • Investments

Due to the energy transition, the transformation of transport from combustion engines to vehicles powered by electricity is underway. Globally, this is drastically increasing the demand for batteries. The battle for the best efficiency and range is in full swing, not just among electric car manufacturers. To date, the most powerful storage devices for electrical energy on an electrochemical basis have once again come from China. However, a German company is poised to become the new standard on the market by developing a new coating method.

Nel with a liberation blow - When will Varta and Almonty Industries take off?

  • Tungsten
  • Electromobility

Nel has long been one of the hopefuls in the hydrogen sector. But recently, Plug Power had somewhat outstripped the Norwegians. The reason: a lack of major orders at Nel to justify its billion-euro valuation. The major order has now finally arrived, and the stock is stepping on the gas. Since Monday, it has already gained more than 10%, and analysts see further room for improvement. It should also boost other shares along the renewable energy value chain: For example, battery manufacturer Varta and raw material producer Almonty Industries. Almonty, which is actually on its way to becoming the largest tungsten producer outside China, has published convincing estimates for a molybdenum project. With Varta, on the other hand, caution is the order of the day. The chart is battered and another insider sale adds to the uncertainty.

Cars have a future - Here is how investors can invest: Mercedes-Benz, Altech Advanced Materials, Varta

  • Electromobility
  • Technology

Mobility is a valuable commodity - despite high fuel prices. Studies show that Germans have continued to drive their cars since the end of February. For some, there is no other choice; for others, independence is too important. If demand for a product or service is so little dependent on price, this is known as low price elasticity of demand. For investors, this insight can be an important orientation that is worth hard cash.

The super battery is coming: Varta, Altech Advanced Materials, BYD, VW - Who will supply it?

  • Technology
  • Electromobility
  • Battery

In times of energy scarcity, storage is essential in addition to generation. Engineering firms worldwide are currently searching for the "super battery." It should contain fewer pollutants, be rechargeable many times, allow for a high capacity and not cause problems during later disposal. We will not be able to reconcile all of these criteria anytime soon, but in the overall process, even incremental steps are having a significant effect as the energy storage sector evolves into the next trillion-dollar market. Here is a selection of companies that are already making a major contribution.

Golden times for Nel and Varta? Tension is rising at First Hydrogen

  • GreenTech
  • Hydrogen

The prices for oil, gas & Co. remain at a high level this week, not least because Russia has reduced gas supplies to Europe. In Germany, Economics Minister Robert Habeck is working at full speed on emergency plans for the winter and is calling for energy savings. In the long term, there will be no way around renewable energies. Analysts expect golden times for companies like Nel ASA and Varta. But smaller innovative companies like hydrogen pure-play First Hydrogen are also interesting. That is because analysts expect demand for hydrogen to outstrip supply massively. In the battery sector, Goldman Sachs recommends buying the Varta share. The MDAX group's sales are expected to more than double in the coming years, thanks to electromobility. The annual general meeting was held yesterday.
