Bank failure and new heaters! Nordex, Defense Metals, JinkoSolar - Greentech shares in the focus of investors

German Economics Minister Habeck wants to stick to his controversial plans to ban the installation of new oil and gas heating systems from 2024. In press releases, he describes the "heat turnaround" as mandatory. However, criticism of the plan is getting louder rather than quieter. What other countries do not even discuss is to be implemented here as quickly as possible due to a lack of fossil raw materials. The government in Berlin is worried about the climate targets set by law and still believes in the prosperity-securing transformation of the German economy and private households. The financing side of these projects is being forgotten because not everyone will be able to afford the purchases. FDP parliamentary group leader Dürr sent Habeck's plans back to the "assembly hall" for the time being on the talk show "Anne Will" because of various construction defects. The crux of the matter is energy availability, which is crucial for a green transformation. Which values now belong in the portfolio?

Plug Power and Nordex disappoint, and a milestone for Manuka Resources

The shift to renewable energy is being accelerated significantly by policymakers and industry, but companies continue to struggle to meet their plan targets. Nevertheless, the market outlook is optimistic that the transformation to alternative energy will continue to gain momentum. One of the cost drivers is the high cost of raw materials, which has increased significantly again due to the sanctions against Russia. Manuka Resources is still a young player in the market that could significantly cushion the shortages of the critical raw material vanadium, which is needed for energy storage systems.

Nordex, Canadian North Resources, NIO - Strong growth in demand

  • Mining
  • greenmetals
  • Electromobility

The invasion of Ukraine and Europe's resulting dependence on Russian oil and gas has significantly accelerated the transformation to renewables as the largest part of the energy mix. However, wind power, photovoltaic systems, and electric cars require significantly more critical raw materials. This is already creating new problems. On the one hand, China owns the lion's share of many of these elementary metals; on the other hand, there is already excess demand for lithium, cobalt, nickel and even copper. Despite a short-term correction due to fears of recession, significant price increases are inevitable in the long term. The primary beneficiaries are raw material producers from Western countries.

Greentech in focus: BASF, Meta Materials, Nordex, JinkoSolar - Invest now in the Climate Action Plan 2.0!

  • Technology

In the daily press, in addition to the terrible images from Ukraine, we are also occupied with unresolved questions about the energy industry of the future. It has been decided that the path will lead via innovations and renewable energies, but the underlying pace will not be sufficient for a quick turnaround. Moving away from the internal combustion engine is just as much a matter for discussion as condemning nuclear energy. Resourceful researchers are therefore developing new ideas for technological concepts that will change vast areas of life. However, implementing the solutions will cost a lot of money and require scarce raw materials. What should investors be focusing on at the moment?

Nordex, American Lithium, Globex Mining, Nel - New stock favourites?

  • Mining
  • Commodities
  • Lithium
  • renewableenergies

The energy transition is fuelling the raw materials boom. Solar and wind energy, hydrogen and electromobility - raw materials such as nickel, rare earths, lithium and cobalt are needed for all future technologies. Companies like Nordex and Nel ASA need the raw materials. The Nordex share has had a challenging year. But analysts see the light at the end of the tunnel. The wind turbine manufacturer is introducing a new product. At Nel, experts advise selling, and the annual figures are due soon from the Scandinavians. In contrast, Globex Mining continues to be traded as an outperformer even after the 50% rally since November 2022. The quality of the resource projects is high, and the share is being revalued. American Lithium has also performed strongly since Q4 2022. The uranium subsidiary is expected to provide the next share price jump. However, bad news is coming from China for the lithium sector. This time, Tesla is not instigating the price war.

Nordex, Manuka Resources, American Lithium - The profiteers of scarcity

Besides the raging war in Ukraine, the discussion about the energy industry of the future accompanies us daily. It has already been decided that renewable energies such as wind power and photovoltaics will be the way forward. Likewise, the move away from the internal combustion engine to battery-powered electric motors is in the bag. But the implementation problems will be with us over the next few years. Where will producers get the raw materials that are already in short supply? Another critical issue is energy storage. Here, too, there is an increasing demand for a raw material that is currently produced primarily in Russia and China.

The market for electricity storage to pick up speed by 2030: RWE, Nordex, Altech Advanced Materials

  • Technology
  • renewableenergies

Being in on the action from the start is the dream of many investors. Imagine: Having bought shares of Amazon or Alphabet decades ago - you could also get rich with BYD over the decades. But there are new opportunities. By 2030, stationary energy storage will be the next big thing. Electricity grids must be stable, and energy from renewable sources must be stored for this purpose. Recently, RWE brought new giant batteries online and is planning much more. For some companies, enormous opportunities are emerging.

The energy turnaround is a constant companion. Since the Ukraine conflict at the latest, alternatives have been desperately sought in order to free ourselves from dependence on Russia. However, politicians' plans and the reality of timely implementation are far apart. In the area of traffic and transportation alone, it will likely be decades before climate neutrality is achieved. However, there are bridging systems already available that drastically reduce CO2 emissions.

Last Generation in Lützerath - Greentech shares jump! Siemens Energy, Auxico Resources, JinkoSolar, and Nordex in focus

  • Mining
  • RareEarths
  • GreenTech

Fossil energy supply is becoming increasingly uncertain and is a red rag for the "Last Generation". What is currently happening in Lützerath could become a blueprint for Germany's energy problems in the future. The political loss of the supplier and raw material giant Russia creates a dangerous undersupply, especially for Central Europe. Due to the mild winter, gas reserves are still abundant, but public pressure is on the industry. Production processes must become more sustainable, even if this initially increases costs in the short term due to necessary investments. In the long term, however, this will sustainably renew the German industrial landscape and make it much more competitive again. Which Greentech stocks should you keep an eye on?

Auxico Resources, BYD, Nordex - Energy transition in danger: shortage of critical raw materials

  • Mining
  • RareEarths
  • renewableenergies
  • Electromobility

The energy transition, i.e. the transition to a sustainable, low-carbon and renewable energy supply, is an important step in combating the climate crisis. However, some critical raw materials are needed for the expansion of renewable energies and whose scarcity can pose a threat to the energy transition. These include, for example, rare earths, cobalt and lithium, which are used in the manufacture of solar panels, wind turbines and electric cars. In this context, one should not underestimate the current dependence on China, which has a monopoly position, especially in rare earths. We therefore take a look at three companies around the energy transition.
