Nordex, Kleos Space, Allianz - Cybersecurity is booming!

The energy crisis in Europe is causing one sector in particular to boom: cybersecurity. The attack on Nordex in April or the current threat to the Ukrainian nuclear power plant in Zaporizhzhya illustrates the fragility of our energy supply. Surveillance technology from space helps entire countries and trade routes to increase their own security. Kleos Space is a technology pioneer in this. The Company provides global intelligence and geolocation Data-as-a-Service through appropriate satellite technology. The sector is also important for insurance companies such as Allianz.

Barrick Gold, Barsele Minerals, Nordex - This will now be important

The strong US dollar, rising US yields and increasing fears of further major interest rate hikes are weighing on the precious metals markets. In this context, the precious yellow metal is facing an important test. Thus, the USD 1,680.59 per troy ounce gold mark is a prominent support level. If the low for the year is broken, there is a threat of a further drop to the region around USD 1,620 per ounce. In the long term, this level should serve as an entry level because containment of inflation through further interest rate steps can hardly be assumed in the current situation. This results in timely anticyclical entry opportunities in selected producers and exploration companies.

Varta, Kodiak Copper, Nordex, BYD: Copper rally 3.0 - showstoppers for climate change looming!

  • GreenTech
  • Copper

The sharp rise in energy raw materials is an opportunity to accelerate electrification. However, in order to really relieve the atmosphere of harmful gases in this process, we need a lot of GreenTech ideas that allow us to generate energy sparingly from our existing natural resources. Copper is one of the central raw materials around which innovations revolve. Without this red metal, building electric motors and transporting huge amounts of electricity over land would be impossible. They must now be explored and developed. The race against time is already in its third round! Which shares are at the forefront?

Nordex, Alpha Copper, Uniper - Forward-looking change

The demand for copper will increase rapidly in the coming years due to the shift to renewable energies. By 2030, 250% more copper will be needed for chargers in electric vehicles. Wind turbine manufacturer Nordex also needs the highly conductive metal. A wind farm in Ireland is being topped up with new turbines, but other factors are affecting the Company's figures, so there seems to be no end in sight to its red figures this year. Energy group Uniper is also still struggling. Despite the gas levy, maintaining ongoing operations remains a real test. Where is an investment worthwhile?

Finding the best GreenTech stocks: BYD, Defense Metals, JinkoSolar and Nordex in focus

  • Mining
  • RareEarths
  • Electromobility
  • GreenTech

Since Joe Biden's Climate Bill, GreenTech stocks have been on everyone's lips. That is because, in addition to the EU, the US now also wants to step on the gas pedal significantly. It is all about investing in the future of climate protection. This primarily involves technologies for alternative energy generation, such as solar or wind power plants. Equally in focus, however, are the drive technologies for the many vehicles on our roads. The pivotal point is strategically important metals; they are rare and highly sought after. International dependence on China makes many projects a tough balancing act. But some companies are well positioned. Have they already gone too far?

Watch out! BASF, Varta, Barsele Minerals and Nordex - These shares are mastering the energy crisis

  • Technology

Renewable energies are one of the most important factors when it comes to a green lifestyle. After all, modern man wants to remain mobile, even if fossil resources no longer harmonize with the concepts of the future. For years, there were extensive studies that primary energy sources such as oil and gas, which have been locked up for millions of years, should not be released into the atmosphere. The scientists were not heard for a long time, and now after substantial climatic changes, attempts are being made to turn the tide using all means at their disposal. Too late? Perhaps, but many companies are positioning themselves correctly now. We keep an eye on these values.

According to a study by the International Copper Study Group (ICSG) from 2020, Chile, Peru, China and the US were the largest copper producers in the world. Other significant deposits can be found in Australia, Indonesia, Russia, Canada, Zambia, Poland, Kazakhstan and Mexico. In Europe, the largest copper deposits are concentrated in Russia and Poland. When it comes to calculating the copper market in the next few years, expert opinions differ widely. According to a study by Wood Mackenzie, primary copper demand will increase by over 30% to around 25 million tons by 2030. And ore is already in more than short supply today. Where are the opportunities for investors?

Alarm at Plug Power, problems for Nordex is good for Alpha Copper

  • Mining
  • Copper

It is the summer of renewable energy stocks. Russia's attack on Ukraine, high oil and gas prices, and climate change are just a few arguments why investors are so electrified by the sector. However, there is also a lot of advance praise being handed out. That is the case with Plug Power. When a company makes more losses than sales, alarm bells start ringing. But the Plug Power share is taking this surprisingly well. According to analysts, Nordex continues to suffer from high purchase prices, and an impending copper shortage will not reduce the problems. Alpha Copper should benefit from scarce copper. Drilling programs are giving the share a tailwind.

Climate change brings GreenTech stocks into focus: Varta, Nordex, JinkoSolar and Globex Mining

More than three quarters of the world's population lives in countries that do not support Western sanctions against Putin. In countries like China, India, Brazil, South Africa and many more, there is little sign of Western morality, restrictions, shortages and price explosions. If anything, the measures imposed by the United States and the EU against the aggressor have strengthened these states and provided their own economies with complex conditions. As a result, the coming recession will be more local and most severe in those areas where energy supplies and replenishments are tight. The markets have long since reacted, and most commodities - with the exception of energy - have already undergone a major correction. If one wants to be successful on the stock market today, one must think in new paradigms because globalization is currently making a huge roll backwards. Where are the opportunities?

Alpha Copper, Nordex, Volkswagen - Has the copper price found its bottom?

On July 15, the copper price briefly traded below USD 7,000 per ton. Since then, the price has risen strongly again to over USD 7,800 per ton. Copper has the reputation of being a leading indicator for the economy, as the metal is used in almost all industrial sectors and electrical products. Fears of a recession have been present in the markets for some time, driven by inflation and recently rising interest rates. Added to this is the zero-Covid policy of the Chinese, which leads to falling demand from commodity-hungry China. The latest statements by FED Chairman Jerome Powell give the markets hope that the worst is over. The copper price so far confirms this view.
