Globex Mining, Samsung Electronics, BYD: Commodity rally and innovations from Asia

  • Mining
  • Commodities
  • Gold
  • Electromobility
  • Innovations

Increasing demand for generative AI, consumer electronics, and innovations in the automotive industry are significantly boosting demand for raw materials. These are golden times for explorers like Globex Mining. The Canadian company has such a broad-based commodities portfolio that it can be seen as a minerals land bank. For investors, this means reduced risk thanks to high diversification. Samsung Electronics is currently facing several challenges. Not only have they been overtaken by NVIDIA in chip production, but the workforce is also becoming restless. In South Korea, this would be the very first strike in the Company's history. Although the brand value is highly regarded globally, things seem to be quite off-kilter in Suwon. Innovations are produced in Asia. Car manufacturers such as BYD, Geely and Toyota are focusing on the next evolutionary stage in the development of electromobility. The EU, on the other hand, appears helpless and is trying to undermine competition with punitive tariffs. Will they succeed?

Entrepreneurs like the founders of dynaCERT are creating solutions for a cleaner environment. With a hydrogen-based bridging technology specifically for diesel engines, emissions can be reduced while maintaining the same level of efficiency. Now, the management team is being strengthened by a top-notch individual from Germany with vast experience in growth strategies. Intelligent minds are urgently needed everywhere. At Mercedes-Benz, there seems to be too much reliance on the allure of the brand and a popular model. There is hardly any other explanation for the electrification of this off-road design icon. SAP and Amazon Web Services are entering a special German-American relationship. With their joint venture, they are bringing generative AI to companies, thereby increasing productivity. Three solutions from three companies, with a focus on German expertise.

The areas of application are vast, including data processing, generative AI, pharmaceutical research, weather simulations, robotics and many more. Vidac Pharma, for example, is an exciting candidate in the field of drug research. Their innovative approach in oncology can reverse the function of cancer cells. If successful, Bayer would have less to worry about. The Leverkusen-based company is fighting the wave of US lawsuits in connection with RoundUp®. The glyphosate-based herbicide is suspected of causing cancer. Bayer is now pursuing a new strategy in the face of the six-figure lawsuits. Where do investors find the best innovations and greatest growth opportunities?

Desert Gold, Fresenius, SMA Solar: Emerging industry leaders in gold, medicine and renewable energies - investment opportunities in focus

  • Mining
  • Gold
  • renewableenergies
  • Healthcare

This year's growth sectors are medicine, renewable energies and, due to the numerous geopolitical tensions, gold. The price of the precious metal has already climbed by 18% since January. In addition to its inflation protection function as a portfolio hedge, gold is also used in jewellery manufacturing, the electronics industry, and medicine. An increase in global demand for gold in these sectors can increase the profitability of gold mining companies and offer investors attractive returns. Desert Gold Ventures is an emerging explorer with gold deposits in West Africa. The area has many lucrative features. In the medical sector, Fresenius announces the completion of its restructuring measures by taking a tough and logical step towards more growth. Companies like SMA Solar in Germany, focusing on solar production, must also factor in the consequences. Where are investment opportunities with predictable risk?

  • Mining
  • Gold
  • Uranium
  • renewableenergies
  • Hydrogen
  • nuclear

The hunt for raw material resources has always been a race for the best possible energy supply. When sources are in one's own country or economically friendly neighboring countries, the risk of supply disruption is low. Nuclear energy is still one of the most efficient solutions. The US is a leader in the use of uranium. This benefits the Company Kraken Energy, which has dedicated itself entirely to the exploration of uranium deposits in North America. Due to the geopolitical conflicts, the price of gold has already risen by 14% in the last 6 months alone. Barrick has now published its quarterly results, and investors can rejoice. The Norwegian hydrogen company Nel ASA also has reason to celebrate. Here, too, a pact with its big brother is extremely promising...
