The shift from rigid spreadsheets and static forms to intelligent AI agents is fundamentally reshaping the workplace. For years, employees dutifully entered data into CRM and accounting software to generate reports at the end of each month. But the era of passive software is coming to an end. Autonomous AI agents are increasingly taking over complex workflows and extracting far greater value from business databases. While technology heavyweights such as Salesforce and Oracle are rebuilding their multi-billion-dollar platforms and surprising their customers with increasingly complex pricing models, a massive growth market is emerging in the background. Small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), in particular, are searching for AI tools that allow them to benefit from the productivity revolution as well. Miivo AI is targeting exactly this market. We provide an overview of the opportunities and the potential this emerging sector has to offer.

Table of contents:

Oracle Aims to Make Databases Smarter

With its large enterprise customers, Oracle pursues a strategy of deep vertical integration. The database specialist relies on powerful hardware in its OCI cloud infrastructure and provides high-performance nodes equipped with NVIDIA H100 and H200 graphics processing units. Through a proprietary cluster network, the US-based company guarantees high bandwidth for computationally intensive AI tasks and also entices customers with generous quotas for fee-free data exports. The latter, in particular, is becoming a compelling argument that wins over customers in an era of rising AI costs. For Oracle, however, the key is to avoid data transfers. Instead of sending sensitive corporate data to external interfaces, the company integrates language models from partners such as Cohere, Meta, or X.ai directly into its existing databases. With MySQL HeatWave GenAI, automated vector stores for AI queries are available directly within the database, without the need to integrate expensive third-party systems. Using the free Agent Studio, companies can also build their own digital assistants for supply chains, finance, and human resources that operate seamlessly within ongoing business processes. Oracle has undoubtedly entered the AI era.

Salesforce: What Are Autonomous Sales Agents Really Worth?

Salesforce is also betting heavily on AI, transforming its customer relationship management (CRM) platform into a digital workforce through its Agentforce offering. At the core of the platform is Data Cloud, which consolidates customer data from disparate sources in real time and provides the knowledge foundation for AI agents. However, the company is still refining how to monetize this new technology. Over the past 18 months, management has introduced three different pricing models, creating uncertainty among many enterprise customers and making IT budgeting and long-term cost planning more challenging.

Miivo AI Brings Autonomous AI Operating Systems to SMBs

While industry giants Oracle and Salesforce court their large enterprise customers with increasingly complex software architectures, Miivo AI is focused on the largely underserved small and medium-sized business (SMB) market. Under the leadership of CEO Alexander Damouni, the company has developed an AI-powered operating system that makes the leap from mere data display to the autonomous completion of tasks. Following the launch of its initial data consolidation tools, Miivo AI introduced Miivo Sales Leads, a standalone B2B prospecting solution that automatically generates verified email addresses and phone numbers of business decision-makers. Most recently, Miivo AI expanded its portfolio to include a fully automated Customer Insights tool that monitors sentiment across Google Reviews, Instagram, and Reddit in real time while generating AI-powered draft responses. Building on this foundation, the company is developing intelligent AI agents capable of independently handling workflows across sales and finance based on simple user instructions. This is precisely the type of practical automation many small and medium-sized businesses are seeking as they face rising labour costs.

Stabilization after the sell-off—Can Miivo AI's stock stage a comeback?

A Well-Thought-Out Acquisition Meets Huge Market Potential

Miivo AI's strategic advantage lies in its no-code and zero-onboarding approach. The software solutions are ready for immediate use and require neither complicated third-party integrations nor expensive IT support. This keeps customer acquisition costs low and enables rapid adoption in the SMB market. To strengthen operational leadership and leverage synergies, Miivo AI completed the acquisition of the consulting firm Tandem Partners in June, which had been agreed upon in early 2026. Miivo's acquisition of Tandem builds on a long-standing working relationship between the two companies** – Tandem was previously owned in part by Miivo CEO Alexander Damouni and CFO Rabih Brair – helping expand Miivo's operational capabilities and distribution network.

According to Miivo AI's estimates, the shift toward a digital workforce is fundamentally reshaping its addressable market. Rather than focusing solely on the software market, innovative AI service providers are increasingly looking at the global knowledge work market, which could unlock up to USD 4.4 trillion in productivity gains across corporate use cases, according to McKinsey & Co. While a large portion of this budget is likely to remain with human specialists for the foreseeable future, advances in AI agents are opening up substantial opportunities that extend well beyond the traditional software market.

Miivo AI Significant Potential for New Business

Among the biggest growth drivers for Miivo AI are its recently launched Customer Insights tool and the recurring SaaS revenue generated by the rollout of autonomous AI agents. At the same time, the company faces risks, including potentially slower adoption of AI solutions among small and medium-sized businesses than in large enterprises, as well as growing AI capabilities being integrated into traditional software platforms. However, Miivo AI's low implementation barriers make it easy for prospective customers to evaluate and adopt its solutions. Smaller businesses, in particular, continue to face mounting pressure from a challenging economic environment, labour shortages, and rising personnel costs. With its solutions, Miivo AI occupies an attractive niche. With the stock trading near its 52-week low, the market currently values the company's promising business model at only around CAD 18 million.

For months, Germany's largest software company, SAP, was cast as the prime suspect in an industry supposedly facing disruption from AI agents—until its quarterly results delivered a surprising twist to the story. Meanwhile, C3.ai demonstrates just how quickly the hunter can become the hunted when the agent AI narrative fails to translate into sufficient revenue growth. Positioned in the middle is Miivo AI, a Canadian newcomer that has operated largely behind the scenes so far and is targeting precisely the market where SAP established a strong foothold more than two decades ago: the SMB market. So, who has the best chance of a happy ending in this stock market thriller?

Record profits, yet double-digit share price losses. On the stock market, it is not just earnings that count—it is the outlook for the future. That is precisely where some of the most interesting opportunities can emerge. We highlight a cyclical infrastructure stock with slowing momentum, a biotech company following a major medical breakthrough, and a commodities player benefiting from higher gold prices and project progress. Investors looking to determine whether these moves reflect market overreaction or genuine new developments will find the decisive signals in the numbers and outlooks.

    • Telecommunications

The convergence of artificial intelligence and massive data streams is rapidly revolutionizing global infrastructure, from the Earth's surface to orbit. At the forefront of this technological evolution is the space company SpaceX, which, with its "Direct to Cell" service through its telco division Starlink, is redefining global connectivity by linking ordinary smartphones directly to satellite networks. A crucial cog in the global mobile communications backbone in space is Deutsche Telekom, which bridges the gap between terrestrial networks and space through AI-powered network infrastructures and strong partnerships. The British telecommunications giant Vodafone is also demonstrating how it maximizes the efficiency of global data connections by intelligently analyzing massive amounts of data using big data analytics. The commodities-focused B2B platform Aspermont is also benefiting from this digital disruption in the network sector, operating at the intersection of mining and artificial intelligence. The media company monetizes its decades-old data sets in the mining and energy sectors through customized solutions. For investors, this represents a highly lucrative and innovative investment opportunity.
