K+S, First Phosphate, Volkswagen - Phosphate: From fertilizer to high-tech application
Phosphate is an important nutrient for plants and animals and is used in agriculture as a fertilizer. It is also used in the food industry as an additive. Recently, however, the raw material has been needed in the high-tech environment. Battery manufacturers have an increased need for phosphate to produce lithium iron phosphate batteries, which are already used in some electric vehicles. The phosphate content in these batteries contributes to their stability and durability. If this technology becomes standard in all electric vehicles, demand will increase dramatically. So today, we take a look at fertilizer producer K+S, introduce a future producer in First Phosphate, and look at how Volkswagen is progressing in the area of electromobility.

Surprise after Q3 figures: Deutsche Bank, Microsoft, Desert Gold, Siemens - Good Chart Technique and a boost from AI?
The ECB has paused its interest rate adjustments for the first time in 12 months. It is not surprising, as a declining economy is currently causing inflationary pressures to subside somewhat. Because of the numerous geopolitical conflicts, gold has surpassed the USD 2,000 mark again after a long consolidation period. And then there are the many quarterly figures. It is good for those who can keep track of them all. We look at new developments with Deutsche Bank, Microsoft's entry into the German corporate AI market, and the excellent opportunities at the explorer Desert Gold.

Precious metals and digital currencies: Blackrock Silver, Barrick Gold and PayPal in the spotlight
The gold and silver markets are readily targeted as a "safe haven" by risk-conscious investors in times of ongoing geopolitical uncertainty. Gold is considered the preferred protection in uncertain times, while silver has so far been less in focus. Yet the precious metal is permanently used in crisis-proof industries, including dentistry, photovoltaics and nuclear energy. If you are an investor who likes to trade, there is no getting around digital payment provider PayPal. On November 1, the Company will report its Q3 2023 numbers. Several moves by the Californians may have positively impacted their business. One of them, the "Buy Now, Pay Later" feature, seems to be especially popular with consumer-oriented customers. But what exactly does that mean for the stock? Is it safer to invest in precious metals or behavioral finance-driven companies like PayPal?

Power Nickel, Mercedes-Benz, BYD - No electromobility without nickel
Nickel has undergone a remarkable transformation in recent years and has become a key component of electromobility. While the demand for environmentally friendly vehicles is steadily increasing, nickel is becoming increasingly important as an indispensable component in batteries. Nickel contributes to achieving higher energy density in batteries, which translates into greater driving range. It also allows for a reduction in the amount of cobalt in the batteries, making electric vehicles even more environmentally friendly. Therefore, we look at a future nickel producer and analyze Mercedes-Benz and BYD in terms of opportunities and risks.

Innovative technologies and raw materials: BASF, Almonty Industries and Volkswagen in focus
BASF, through its subsidiary BASF Mining Solutions, has launched a new process for extracting raw materials in the mining industry. With it, the chemical company increases speed and accuracy in the extraction of valuable raw materials. One valuable raw material is the critical metal tungsten, which is used mainly in aerospace technology. Shares of Almonty Industries, the world's leading tungsten mine operator, have shot up 11.32% over the past month. What is triggering this strong demand among investors? Meanwhile, in terms of demand, Volkswagen is feeling immense competitive pressure in the EV segment. To ensure that the Group does not lose the race, CEO Oliver Blume is opting for drastic measures.

Positive signals at Siemens Energy, Manuka Resources and Covestro
Forecast adjustments and state aid were the buzzwords on the German stock market last week. In addition to the car manufacturers Mercedes Benz and Volkswagen, the electro and energy technology manufacturer Siemens Energy surprised with talks about state guarantees. The wind energy sector, which is considered essential for climate change, is weakening. In general, renewable energy companies are miles behind a possible consolidation. Not yet factored in is the problem of procuring critical raw materials for building the new technologies.

Porsche share, Globex Mining, Bayer AG - Who offers the most profitable return?
Despite good figures, economic turbulence in the major customer China continues to make Porsche cautious about its forecasts for the coming year. The situation is quite different for the explorer Globex Mining, which has a mineral property with the valuable raw material vanadium in its portfolio. Vanadium is used in nuclear power plants, aircraft and spacecraft. Its 1% interest in a mineral property that can generate an expected annual free cash flow of USD 235 million for the next 21 years puts it in a good position. The net present value in this account from the interest is also positive. Bayer, on the other hand, has lost another glyphosate lawsuit. Find out what is so significant about this case here.

Lithium: The million-ton question! BASF, Standard Lithium, Edison Lithium, Varta - The Top List for 2024
Lithium-ion batteries are the most widely used battery type for electric vehicles and stationary energy storage. Estimates vary widely, but by 2025, we will need between 500,000 and 850,000 thousand tons of lithium, but in 2022 only 130,000 tons were produced. Against the backdrop of continued high global demand for e-vehicles, many high-performance batteries will be needed. Four gigafactories are currently being built in Europe, and the demand seems enormous. Each auto manufacturer has its own sourcing strategy, but there is currently a problem on the supply side because not every raw material is easy to obtain. Lithium is one of the most essential raw material components of a battery, along with nickel, cobalt, graphite and copper. Prices across the battery segment are under pressure due to the approaching economic downturn. What should investors look out for now?

Coinbase, Desert Gold Ventures, MicroStrategy - Gold at USD 3,700, Bitcoin Priceless
Are you familiar with the book "Rich Dad Poor Dad", which was, for a long time, on the Top 10 bestseller lists of the Wall Street Journal, USA Today and the New York Times? Its author, Robert Kiyosaki, recently revealed his forecasts for his "hard assets" via the X platform, formerly Twitter. Accordingly, he expects the price of gold to rise significantly to USD 3,700, while Bitcoin will reach a price of USD 135,000.

Analysts love cash flow stocks: Nel, Volkswagen, Saturn Oil + Gas
What do investors and analysts dislike in times of high interest rates? Losses and debt. By contrast, they love high cash flow. Free cash flow. With it, a company can finance itself, pay off debt or distribute money to shareholders. And this is precisely Nel's problem. While the loss has been reduced, the Norwegians are still a long way from generating positive cash flow. But analysts still see potential. Analysts see more than 100% upside potential for Saturn Oil & Gas. The oil producer is developing into a cash flow monster, and the upcoming quarterly figures should be convincing again. Volkswagen is also winning over experts. Can the VW share really double? However, there is also a sell recommendation.
