Kodiak Copper, Nordex, E.ON - It is not too late!

  • Copper

Certain framework conditions must be in place to successfully implement the energy transition and the roll-out of electromobility. First, sufficient electricity must be produced from renewable energies. Secondly, an efficient energy infrastructure must be established and thirdly, large quantities of relevant raw materials such as copper are required. The three companies below cover the central fields and should therefore be among the winners. Who is making the running?

BYD, Nel, Defense Metals: In which direction is it going?

  • RareEarths

After the significant setback on Monday, the stock markets are looking for a direction. Individual stocks have held up well in recent days. Among these is Nel. The hydrogen specialist was even able to gain on Monday. That was not the case with BYD, but the shares of the Chinese car manufacturer are holding up surprisingly well given the crisis surrounding the Evergrande real estate group and the regulatory fury of the Chinese government. In addition, there are positive reports from the Company. Defense Metals also has positive news to report. Initial drilling results exceed expectations. All three shares are benefiting from the trend towards alternative drives.

China Evergrande, MAS Gold, Barrick Gold: How to find crisis insurance

  • Gold

The disaster surrounding the Chinese real estate developer China Evergrande is spreading far and wide - even the Deutsche Bank share took a beating at the start of the week. The concerns are obvious: if the Chinese real estate market has to put on the brakes, companies here in Germany could also suffer indirectly. No matter what happens with China Evergrande, the case shows that it pays for investors to hedge against black swans. We explain how this works.

SFC Energy, Meta Materials, Lufthansa - Aiming high

  • Technology

"After the game is before the game". This soccer wisdom from coaching legend Sepp Herberger, who led Germany to its first World Cup title in 1954, can also be applied to business. The wheel continues to turn, with some companies already back to pre-Corona levels and others struggling with global supply chains. And the future around new technologies in terms of consumer electronics, aerospace or 5G communications promises breakthrough inventions.

NEL, dynaCERT, Plug Power, FuelCell Energy - Hydrogen, the flagpole is broken!

  • Hydrogen

Today, what a hype, one would say. Those who held their nerve in January and let reality prevail are not the ones who are surprised at the outcome today. Hydrogen was the stuff of dreams for a few weeks, but the barrel foamed over properly. After rises of up to 2500%, almost all H2 stocks went into the cellar. And how dynamic it was! In just 6 months, hydrogen stocks have lost up to 85% again. One wonders: can there be a second wave? The framework parameters are suitable, as both the EU and Joe Biden have agreed on more hydrogen within the climate targets. The only important thing is the exact design of the subsidies because it will probably not be possible without government orders!

Barsele Minerals, Mutares, SoftBank - Spoilt for choice

  • Gold

Sooner or later, value-creating transactions are reflected in the share price of a respective company. For companies like Mutares or SoftBank, buying and selling company shares is a core business. The share of the Canadian explorer Barsele Minerals offers a unique situation with the possibility to take over the promising Barsele gold project in northern Sweden completely. We reveal where a closer look is worthwhile.

Steinhoff, Silver Viper, BYD - Buy when the guns are thundering!

  • Silver

Right now, it is not an easy time for silver fans. After Reddit traders joined forces at the beginning of the year and shot the precious metal not "to the moon", but at least to a high of USD 30.06 per ounce, a sharp correction started, which has led to around USD 22 as of today. Technically, there is still room to go down. Still, from a fundamental perspective, silver is a clear long-term buy because the white metal can support in crisis and is also crucial for producing renewable energy.

Nordex, PuriflOH, JinkoSolar: Investing in a better world

  • Investments

To make the world a better place. That is the concern of all entrepreneurs - although one can no doubt argue about innovations in detail. There is no doubt about renewable energy and clean water. Every innovation in these areas pays off not only monetarily but in a variety of ways. We profile three stocks that are doing good.

GSP Resource, Varta, Rio Tinto - The post-fossil age has begun

  • Copper

The phase-out of fossil fuels is already underway. If we want to do something for the climate, this step is unavoidable. The phase-out is to be offset either by nuclear power or renewable energies. In Germany, we are saying goodbye to both nuclear power and fossil fuels. At the same time, the introduction of renewable energies means that more metals are now needed. Whether silver, rare earths, nickel, cobalt or copper - these metals are necessary for technological progress. Copper, in particular, is essential for electrification, and demand is rising steadily. That is due to the growing sales of electric cars, for which more copper is needed than for combustion engines. Today we look at three companies that have a lot to do with copper.

BP, Saturn Oil + Gas, Gazprom: Where growth meets low valuations

  • Oil

The climate turnaround is coming, but it will not happen overnight. One raw material that will be needed for a long time to come is oil. OPEC recently increased its demand forecast for 2022 by 4.2 million barrels - every day. The oil companies, which are currently valued low on the stock market, will therefore continue to earn good money for a long time to come. But here, too, the companies with the edge are those that are flexible and have a sustainable focus. We present three stocks.
