Artificial Intelligence - Now it is really taking off! Palantir, Lufthansa, TUI, Viva Gold - These shares are on the rise!

After extensive climate blockades at the airports in Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Munich, the environment minister of the Green Party, Robert Habeck, also spoke out: "The activists, who are now obstructing people from traveling on vacation, are doing massive damage to the cause of climate protection." Quite right! They also significantly disrupt traffic and cause considerable economic costs due to delays and cancellations. This could soon come to an end as the affected airport operators are filing criminal complaints. If real sanctions with imprisonment are finally imposed, the issue could be effectively addressed, and the government can demonstrate its ability to act anew. After all, many citizens now have doubts about the implementation of important public objectives, for which an expensive state apparatus is now responsible. What should investors pay attention to?

Biogen, Cardiol Therapeutics, Evotec - The acquisition wave is rolling

  • Biotechnology
  • Pharma

The biotechnology industry has seen a significant increase in acquisitions and mergers in recent months. Large pharmaceutical companies are looking to expand their portfolios to provide innovative solutions for unmet medical needs. At the same time, despite an increase in value in recent months, acquisition targets are still attractively valued due to the sell-off over the past year.

Which now? Battery power or hydrogen? BYD, Altech Advanced Materials, BASF, Nikola Motors

  • Hydrogen
  • GreenTech
  • Electromobility
  • Batteries
  • fuelcell

The question of what future mobility will look like has yet to be entirely resolved. Currently, the governments in office are propagating the electric drive. However, after the fire on the "Fremantle Highway" in the North Sea, the question of the safety of the Li-ion batteries currently in use has arisen again. And who will pay for the EUR 500 million damage to the wrecked freighter? This does not even take into account the possible ecological inferno for the North Sea. EV batteries are expensive and require enormous resources to produce, yet there is no legal obligation to dispose of used batteries properly. Very short-term thinking, but Berlin is currently shining on issues of a curious nature. Where are the opportunities for us investors?

New hydrogen hype! More than 100% possible with Plug Power, dynaCERT, ThyssenKrupp Nucera and Nel ASA

  • Hydrogen
  • greenhydrogen
  • renewableenergies
  • Energy

While the use of wind and solar has long been established, this step is still to come for hydrogen. The EU's recent decision to produce around 20 million metric tons of the highly flammable fuel by the year 2030 is a major step forward. The aim is to replace natural gas supplies from Russia. This move is expected to help the new energy source establish itself more rapidly within the EU. Currently, 50 billion cubic meters of natural gas are used in Europe to produce so-called grey hydrogen. According to recent studies, a rapid switch to green hydrogen would make it possible to replace around 12% of gas consumption by 2030. Quite impressive! Which stocks will benefit from the approaching boom?

After Nel ASA exceeded sales expectations in the second quarter, Goldman Sachs recommended the stock as a buy. The price target is NOK 20, offering almost 50% upside potential. Now Plug Power is also recommended as a buy, and analysts see a significantly higher price potential. Experts see nearly 200% price potential for Standard Lithium after the Company published convincing drilling results. Not yet on the screen of analysts is Defense Metals. But this could change soon. The Company is developing an exciting rare earths project in North America, and the preliminary economic valuation of over CAD 500 million gives the stock plenty of upside.

Canadian company dynaCERT produces and sells carbon emissions reduction technologies. Working with partner Cipher Neutron, dynaCERT is now in talks with the University of Alberta to advance research projects in green hydrogen technology. Late revenge looms in California. After Elon Musk unceremoniously renamed Twitter to x.com, old feuds from the PayPal era could flare up, which may not bode well for the digital payment service. Meanwhile, Alibaba founder Jack Ma is also planning the next coup in the fintech space with his Ant Group.

The stock market is not a one-way street, so it happens time and again that companies that initially performed well run into problems, leading to falling prices. One announcement can turn the tide and influence the price of a stock. We have selected three candidates where a turnaround could be imminent, provided an appropriate news catalyst exists.
