Hydrogen. Hope and facts: Plug Power, dynaCERT, NEL

  • Hydrogen
  • greenhydrogen

Hydrogen has a future. The emission-free energy carrier shows its strengths, above all, when it is produced with green electricity. This so-called "green" hydrogen is currently in demand again on the stock market. Although there has been some irritation and price slides in the wake of the turnaround in interest rates, companies such as Plug Power and NEL are positioning themselves aggressively in the market. That might also offer prospects for former gambler darling dynaCERT. But first, let's look at the big players in the business.

The stock markets are on fire! What is next for Nio, First Hydrogen and Nel ASA?

  • Hydrogen
  • greenhydrogen
  • renewableenergies

It has been brewing for weeks. The mixture of sharply rising inflation rates, market participants' concerns about further interest rate hikes, and uncertainties surrounding the Ukraine war broke the camel's back and sent global stock markets plummeting through the ranks. The losses cut across all sectors. Along with equities and precious metals, cryptocurrencies are losing disproportionately. Due to the emerging economic concerns, the oil price is also losing ground. The partly exaggerated corrections are already calling bargain hunters on the scene again.

Shares of Nel ASA, BP, BASF and Saturn Oil + Gas: Goldman bullish on oil price

  • Oil
  • greenhydrogen
  • chemicals
  • Mining

Good news for oil producers such as BP, ExxonMobil and Saturn Oil & Gas: Goldman Sachs has raised its oil price forecasts and expects prices to remain high. The price target for Brent crude was raised from USD 125 to USD 140 per barrel. The reasons given for this are unresolved structural bottlenecks. The oil giant ExxonMobil shot up to a new all-time high in the wake of the news. For Saturn Oil & Gas, a takeover has come at the right time. The Canadian producer wants to double its production again. Nel is also likely to benefit, as the high prices for fossil energies are making it easier to switch to renewables. For BASF, however, the Goldman forecast is bad news, but analysts see considerable upside potential.

Nel ASA, dynaCERT and RWE - End of the correction?

  • Hydrogen
  • GreenTech

Contrary to the well-known saying "Sell in May and go away", this year's merry month was a good time to enter the market. After marking a new interim low in the German benchmark index at 13,277.50 points in the first week, the DAX ended May with a rich green reversal candle above 14,000 points. Since then, it has continued to build on the positive development by jumping above the 14,500 point mark. Stronger recoveries can also be seen in the individual sectors, which have suffered significant losses in recent months.

Markets running now: TUI, MAS Gold, NEL

  • Gold
  • travel

Inflation, economic slump...but wait! Things are not quite that bad for the markets! In the US, inflation is losing momentum. At the same time, consumers remain in a buying mood and wages are at least halfway keeping pace with energy prices. The market experts at Deutsche Bank believe that the environment for growth stocks is becoming more positive again. Reason enough to take a closer look at three shares.

Nel ASA, Erin Ventures, NIO - Using setbacks as long-term opportunities

  • boron
  • commodities
  • Electromobility

Since Russia invaded Ukraine, stock markets have corrected sharply, and volatilities have increased significantly. The S&P 500 Volatility Index VIX, for example, rose from under 20 to a high of over 35 points. Individual stocks are also still subject to high fluctuations, with market leaders in promising future-oriented sectors such as hydrogen fuel cell technology, photovoltaics and wind energy losing more than 50%. In such market phases, an anticyclical entry can represent a particularly worthwhile investment. A historic opportunity could also present itself in a critical commodity.

Nel ASA and Siemens Energy - buy or underweight? dynaCERT with sales partner

  • Hydrogen

It is undisputed that the future belongs to renewable energies. New subsidy programs are passed almost weekly - especially in Europe. However, it is unclear whether now is the time to enter the market. Buy, or wait and see? Among other things, analysts do not agree on Nel ASA. After weak figures, JPMorgan has reduced the price target for the shares of the hydrogen specialist. And at Siemens Energy, too, opinions are divided. High inventory levels are a cause for concern. At the hydrogen company dynaCert, following personnel changes, there are again positive headlines due to a sales partnership and the hope for a share price recovery. Last week, the dynaCert CEO expressed confidence at an investor conference.

Share sell-off: TUI, Barsele Minerals, Nel ASA - Buy or sell these stocks?

  • Gold
  • Investments
  • Hydrogen
  • travel

The sell-off in equities entered a new round in May. With rising inflation, disrupted supply chains and uncertain energy supplies, the risk for investors is increasing as interest rates are now exploding to unprecedented levels in parallel with the highly volatile environment. The 10-year yields on government bonds in Germany and the USA have moved up from near zero to 1.14% and from 1.5% to 3.12%, respectively. Whenever there was a noticeable rise in interest rates for bonds, things became critical on the stock market. At the moment, this is weighing on technology stocks in particular. The DAX and S&P have already lost 20% in the current correction phase. After initial losses, gold is now accelerating. Where are the opportunities for investors?

Nel share with a tailwind, but what are TeamViewer and Aspermont doing?

  • Technology
  • Digitization

Last week was disastrous for many technology stocks. In this environment, the Nel share showed strength and yesterday, it also performed positively in a relatively weak environment. That is because there is currently a tailwind for the hydrogen specialist from a wide variety of places: analysts, the European Union and even a king. At least analysts are also convinced of Aspermont. After the positive figures, investors are hoping for new impetus from the technology company's presentation at a virtual investor conference. At TeamViewer, analyst comments are mixed, but the price targets are attractive.

Nel ASA, dynaCERT, Plug Power - Hydrogen in greater demand than ever before

  • Hydrogen
  • GreenTech

The switch from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources was already decided in order to drive climate change. With the Ukraine conflict and Russia's invasion, "freedom energies" are gaining even more weighty significance and have now become a matter of national security. Great hopes are pinned on green hydrogen, which is seen as a big piece of the puzzle for the green transformation. Since the beginning of the decade, shares in these sectors have been regarded as the new stars on the stock market. In the meantime, many have fallen again and reduced the horrendous overvaluations. Now the industry is facing a new wave.
