Commodity stocks poised for a comeback? Barrick Gold, American Lithium, Globex Mining, Standard Lithium

Inflation is weakening, and the interest rate cycle is nearing its end. This argues for a comeback of gold mining stocks. In any case, the gold price is already pointing in the right direction. Now heavyweights like Barrick Gold must follow. Explorer shares offer disproportionate opportunities. However, Globex Mining is an interesting alternative for those who shy away from individual risks. With more than 200 investments in the commodity sector, the Canadians are positioned similarly to a fund. Currently, the cash balance alone corresponds to half of the market capitalization. In addition, there is positive news from the projects. The lithium sector is also starting to recover. Companies like Standard Lithium and American Lithium are recovering from the sell-off at the end of the year. In addition, takeover fantasy attracts.

Rheinmetall, Globex Mining, Brenntag - Just before the breakout

  • Mining

  • Defense

The themes of the past year are likely to continue to dominate the markets in 2023. Despite excellent prospects, shares from the renewable energy and electromobility sectors corrected strongly and are currently trading at attractive long-term levels. Due to strong demand from this sector and the strengthening of the defense sector since the Ukraine conflict, commodity producers benefit in turn. In particular, companies from the Western world are likely to move closer into focus here.

Barrick Gold, Globex Mining, Rio Tinto - Commodity supercycle continues in 2023

  • Mining
  • Gold
  • Commodities

2022 was the year of energy commodities. Goldman Sachs expects commodities to continue to deliver the best returns for investors in 2023, with increases of over 40%. Goldman Sachs has been predicting a commodity supercycle since late 2020. In 2023, the price of Brent crude oil is forecast to rise to USD 105 per barrel in the last quarter, and the price of copper is forecast to rise from around USD 8,400 to USD 10,050 per ton. The main argument is the low level of investment in the commodity sector, which is unlikely to meet demand. Therefore, today we look at three companies from the commodity sector.

Gold price at USD 3,600? flatexDegiro, Globex Mining, Uniper

  • Mining
  • Gold

Year-end rally? No chance! The central banks have put a spanner in the works of optimists one week before the festive season. The continued tough stance against inflation is again fueling fears of a recession. There are cracks in the woodwork, and some observers even believe that gold could stand at USD 3,600. We shed light on the situation and discuss three stocks.

Climate protection & energy crisis: BYD, Mercedes, Globex Mining, Volkswagen - Invest in metals!

  • Mining
  • Commodities
  • Electromobility
  • GreenTech

Those who want to switch from fossil energy to electrical forms of use forget the sometimes poor efficiency in converting fossil primary energy forms to electricity from the socket. Truly green solutions are defined per se by "GreenTech" applications that improve the overall energy balance or even reduce it to zero. A prerequisite for all efforts is access to inexpensive raw materials, especially high-tech metals. These are copper, iron, nickel, silver, and, as the scope of applications expands, silver, platinum and gold. By the fall of 2022, green power yields were between 43 and 66% of the grid capacity. Fossil fuels had a share of only 15 to 20%. Winter has now set in, and trouble looms as the fossil component is more than uncertain for Europe, and solar power yields are falling. Where is the solution?

BYD, Globex Mining, Nordex - When does it really start?

  • Mining
  • Commodities
  • Electromobility
  • renewableenergies

Climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time. With tighter targets for climate neutrality and billions in subsidies, politicians are stepping on the gas. Renewable energies are the only way to achieve a CO2-neutral world. Despite the long-term rosy prospects, companies in the peace energy sector have corrected sharply in recent months, with even market leaders posting losses of over 50% on the stock market. This represents a new opportunity to participate in the energy transition over the long term.

Globex Mining, Deutsche Telekom, Meta Platforms - Stormy times and a haven of calm

Deutsche Telekom AG has announced its Q3 22 figures. The Bonn-based company is currently profiting from its US business, mainly due to the strong US dollar and customer growth. But in times of recession and inflation, consumption often stays up. 11,000 former Meta employees will likely tighten their belts a bit from now on, even if Mark Zuckerberg continues to pay them salaries for a few more months. His plans are ambitious, with AI expansion at the top of the agenda. It is good to take a closer look at rocks in the surf like Globex Mining. The Company owns 217 areas with valuable raw materials, precious metals and more, which are used in the computer and telecommunication industry.

Deutsche Bank, Globex Mining, Vonovia - Covering basic investments through shares with potential

  • Mining
  • Commodities
  • Investments
  • RealEstate

The experts always advise diversification in one's portfolio. Add a few shares, some precious metals and real estate holdings, and the portfolio is well-positioned. Nowadays, owning real estate is not so easy with the high prices, and purchasing precious metals is subject to certain limits in Germany. It is therefore easier to map these basic investments via shares. To do this, investors need a securities account at a bank, and all options are open to them. Therefore, today we look at Deutsche Bank as an equity investment, Globex Mining for the precious metals or commodities sector and Vonovia as a real estate investment.

The markets are currently in a comeback mood. But where will the stock market stars soon shine in their old glory, and where is it only enough for a hit medley in the local disco? In order to be able to judge where the journey for fallen angels on the stock exchange floor can go, it depends first and foremost on the substance. We take a closer look at BYD, Globex Mining and Deutsche Bank and ask: Where is the journey heading?

These stocks are fighting the energy crisis: BASF, Nel ASA, JinkoSolar and Globex Mining

  • Mining
  • Commodities
  • GreenTech

The current energy crisis is a homemade problem that has been felt primarily in Europe since the start of the war. For decades, Europe has relied on raw material supplies from Russia, and now, these have been sanctioned. Although the "old continent" has already made astonishing progress in upgrading its renewable energies, there is a threat of further price increases, blackouts and even electricity rationing if gas and oil supplies fail to materialize in the coming winter. By mid-2022, there were green power yields of between 43% and 61% of grid capacity, fossil fuels now account for only 15 to 20%, and nuclear power has been contributing only about 3.5% for several years. Nevertheless, a difficult winter probably looms because the fossil component is more than uncertain. Equity investors should look closely at who can prevail in this environment.
