BioNTech, BioNxt, Merck KGaA – Opportunities after the correction
The reporting season for the first quarter of 2025 is underway, and due to US President Donald Trump's tariff hammer, it is more exciting than ever. Investors are likely to focus primarily on forecasts for the rest of the fiscal year. Internet giant Google posted impressive figures last week and is standing firm against looming trade conflicts and antitrust proceedings. Several companies in the biotech sector also had news to report and offer attractive entry opportunities at reduced prices.

Bayer, BioNxt Solutions, Evotec – False tariff alarm for pharma and biotech! Which stocks are worth buying?
The provisional exemption from tariffs for medicines and pharmaceutical products offers the industry a breather – but appearances are deceptive. Based on WTO rules, the exemptions protect German exports in the multi-billion-dollar US market. However, indirect risks lurk in the form of rising costs for raw materials, political unpredictability, and dependence on global supply chains. While the sector can breathe a sigh of relief in the short term, long-term trade conflicts are forcing strategic maneuvering. For Bayer, the US market is very important. BioNxt Solutions is developing disruptive drug delivery solutions, and Evotec aims to redefine drug discovery with artificial intelligence. Let's take a closer look at these three companies.

Novo Nordisk, BioNxt Solutions, Bayer: Three ways to health and returns
The pharmaceutical industry is booming, and three companies are set to be in the spotlight in 2025: Novo Nordisk, BioNxt Solutions, and Bayer. A common goal unites all three: To improve the health of millions of patients through innovative approaches. Investors have the opportunity to participate in their success. While their strategies differ, their focus on research, new therapies, and growth makes them exciting for investors. Novo Nordisk stands out with its obesity drug Wegovy. It reduces the risk of heart disease by 57% – a potential game changer, as obesity is a major contributor to severe cardiovascular diseases. BioNxt Solutions is leveraging fresh capital and future technologies. The Company is developing novel drug delivery systems, including sublingual films, transdermal patches, and oral tablets for autoimmune diseases like multiple sclerosis. With CAD 2.5 million from a private placement, it is ready for the next step. Bayer is pushing ahead with its broad pharmaceutical offensive. In 2025, the Leverkusen-based company will launch drugs for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, oncology, and women's health – areas with high medical demand and market potential.

Takeover speculation and buy recommendations: Buy Bayer, BioNTech, and BioNxt Solutions stock after a 150% rally?
While takeover speculations are currently on pause for Evotec, they are gaining momentum for BioNxt Solutions. The Company aims to achieve significant milestones in the next 60 days on the road to marketing its lead product for treating multiple sclerosis and expanding into the billion-dollar anti-aging market. Even after the 150% rally, BioNxt shares are not expensive. The BioNTech share has corrected sharply in 2025. However, positive analyst comments could now herald a turnaround. Will the oncology pipeline lead to a breakthrough? On the other hand, Bayer is facing a significant defeat in USD. Further billion-dollar payments are looming. Analysts remain skeptical.

Bayer, BioNxt Solutions, Novo Nordisk – The pressure is on
The biotech sector has started the new year with momentum, and the acquisition wave is heating up, as confirmed by Johnson & Johnson's acquisition of Intra-Cellular Therapies for USD 15 billion. The trend will likely continue as major pharmaceutical companies are under massive pressure to strengthen their portfolios. After all, drug patents worth over USD 200 billion will expire by the end of the decade. This will force the giants to make strategic acquisitions.

Biotech: Takeover candidates for 2025! Things are heating up at Evotec, BioNxt, Bayer, and Formycon!
The DAX 40 index is hitting new highs, following a gigantic wave of buying from the US. The rally is already well advanced, but due to ongoing geopolitical upheavals, high-tech and defense stocks are still performing well. In recent weeks, the positive trends have also spread to the biotech sector again. Stocks such as BioNxt have already gained over 150% in the last six months. What is driving this? Formycon has seen a severe price drop, while Bayer and Evotec are slowly getting back on track. Are we going to see takeovers now? What are the triggers for dynamic investors?

Bayer, BioNxt Solutions, Evotec – Artificial intelligence as a gamechanger in pharmaceutical research
New technologies and innovative solutions will completely transform the future of medicine. To prepare for this as well as possible, hurdles such as bureaucracy, financial issues, and outdated structures must be overcome. At the same time, management must set the course, as development is continuing at a rapid pace – whether through artificial intelligence (AI) in drug research or customized therapies for individual patients. One thing is clear: anyone who wants to keep up here must think differently. But how are companies tackling this in practice? Three examples reveal why flexibility and fresh ideas are crucial right now for staying ahead in the long term.

Pharma in Focus: Bayer, BioNxt Solutions, Novo Nordisk – Market Expansion, Innovation Acceleration, and a Costly Breach of Trust
The pharmaceutical and biotech market is on the move. Bayer AG aims to win the hearts of 1.2 million Japanese patients suffering from heart failure with promising study data. A drug that has already been successful in 90 countries is to be given an additional benefit. The biotech company BioNxt Solutions is attracting attention with new personnel in the finance and business areas. Its innovative drug delivery solutions could significantly improve the quality of life for millions of patients with neurodegenerative or chronic diseases. The move to a state-of-the-art research facility could accelerate the development of the active ingredients in its pipeline. Unfortunately, Novo Nordisk faces a setback following an M&A: the billion-dollar acquisition of an antihypertensive therapy turns out to be a costly mistake.

BIOTECH stocks in RALLY MODE: Valneva, BioNxt Solutions, Evotec – BUY signal or correction?
After the 50% rally, the stock of BioNxt Solutions is currently consolidating. However, the next buy signal could be generated soon. There will likely be some exciting announcements this year and perhaps even a strategic partnership. The new R&D site in Munich will likely also attract attention for the innovative biotech company in Germany. After the catastrophic year, things have quieted down for the time being at Evotec. Or is it more that the air has been let out? After all, there is a lot of uncertainty about what skeletons might still be in the closet and how things should continue strategically. The stock market does not like that. In contrast, Valneva has had an impressive rally since mid-January. Last week, there was another big announcement. After 50%, is there more potential with the French company?

Biotech - Here we go! 100% opportunities for Evotec, BioNxt, Bayer, Formycon, and Novo Nordisk!
Last week, the DAX 40 index reached a new all-time high of 21,520 points. At first glance, this sounds odd because half of the stocks are languishing at multi-year lows. However, the driving forces are the heavyweights SAP, Siemens, Allianz, Airbus, and Deutsche Telekom. They are pushing the index upward daily, putting ETF fund managers under pressure as they have to adjust the weightings accordingly. However, the more capital flows into the leading stocks, the more investors are looking for lagging stocks that could successfully turn the chart around due to operational turning points. We select a few opportunity stocks.
