BUYING OPPORTUNITY in gold and billion-dollar investment: Barrick Gold, Thunder Gold, BYD

  • Mining
  • Gold
  • Electromobility

The price of gold is consolidating, the major gold producers are weakening and they could soon be forced into takeovers. This presents investors with an interesting buying opportunity with promising gold explorers. One of these takeover candidates is Thunder Gold. The Company has a highly promising project in Canada with excellent infrastructure and outstanding resources, which could soon increase further. Then a big player like Barrick Gold could strike. The second-largest gold producer has missed analyst estimates and could keep investors interested through acquisitions. The mood of German automakers is unlikely to improve when they look at BYD. The Chinese are currently celebrating a milestone and announcing a billion-dollar investment program for the integration of artificial intelligence. Should one take advantage of the buying opportunity now?

BioNTech aims to strengthen its cancer-fighting pipeline by acquiring the Chinese biotech firm Biotheus. The Mainz-based company is laying out up to USD 950 million for the company, which specializes in the development of therapies for cancer and autoimmune diseases. This is the latest example of takeovers in the cancer sector. Vidac Pharma, with a market capitalization of just over EUR 30 million, appears to be favorably valued. Analysts share this view, as Vidac is working on a revolutionary cancer therapy. While Vidac's share price jumped in the second half of the year, Rheinmetall consolidated. Will the defense stock be able to break out with the tailwind from Trump?

Big news for Siemens Energy and F3 Uranium! Shock at Plug Power!

A golden age for uranium. The US aims to triple its nuclear energy capacity, and uranium explorers such as F3 Uranium should benefit massively from this. Like the uranium price, stocks in the sector have consolidated and are currently offering an exciting entry opportunity. This year, Siemens Energy has impressively demonstrated how quickly things can go up. Now, the DAX-listed company has also raised its medium-term targets. However, the wind power division continues to struggle. At Plug Power, revenue is now also faltering. Shareholders of the hydrogen specialist have become accustomed to losses, but they are still higher than revenue. Can it go on like this?

SHARE PRICES EXPLODE as biotech stocks rise! BioNTech, Evotec, Nyxoah

  • Biotechnology
  • Biotech

Is Evotec about to make a quick turnaround? A financial investor is positioning itself for a potential takeover, and the stock surged significantly in the last days. Does this mean that the disappointment over the quarterly figures has been forgotten? Could Nyxoah's stock be the next to skyrocket? The chances of this are good. The medtech company expects FDA approval for the first quarter of 2025 and aims to roll out its main product across the US market next year. Analysts see billion-dollar potential, rapidly increasing revenues, and a favourable P/E ratio. BioNTech shares are also benefiting from a rating upgrade by renowned analysts. The target price has been raised significantly. Could this help the German biotech leader break out of its recent consolidation phase?

Over 100% PRICE GAIN? Nel ASA, SAP, and Myriad Uranium share in analyst review

  • Mining
  • Uranium
  • renewableenergies
  • Software

The new Trump administration is likely to give nuclear energy - and consequently uranium - a further boost. At the same time, Internet giants such as Google and Amazon have already chosen nuclear energy as the solution to their energy needs. Myriad Uranium has a project in the US, and analysts see a 175% upside potential. Experts are also convinced by SAP. They see the software company as the top pick in Europe. However, the stock has already seen significant gains. Nel, on the other hand, has completely different problems. The hydrogen market, despite political support, is simply not gaining momentum. Analysts even consider a new multi-year low possible and recommend selling. Is an acquisition the only answer?

TUI, Evotec, BioNxt Solutions: Short squeeze potential, Price drops, and Momentum

  • Biotechnology

BioNxt Solutions' stock has gained 50% since the end of August. The chances are good that the momentum will continue for the biotech company. The stock would need to more than double to reach its January level. The industry environment is favorable, the news flow is positive, and takeover speculation exists. Takeover speculation is perhaps the only positive factor for Evotec's share at the moment. The operational development is certainly not. Yesterday, the Company reported a significant drop in earnings. Is there any improvement in sight? Operationally, TUI has been doing well for quite some time. With a jump in the share price, the stock is now setting its sights on the resistance at EUR 8. Could there even be a short squeeze? Analysts may also shift to the bull camp.

Altech Advanced Materials is getting ever closer to the battery revolution. And it is all happening in Germany! The prototype of their revolutionary solid-state battery is operational, and there is an initial declaration of intent in the three-digit million-euro range. The Company is valued at around EUR 25 million, providing solid reasons for a potential rapid 50% price increase. Meanwhile, Plug Power's stock has shot up a good 20% since Friday. Is this just a blip, or is there more to it for the former hydrogen high-flyer? In any case, Plug shareholders should be cautious next week. There is also a lot to be said for rising prices at BYD. The Chinese electric carmaker is in a thrilling race with Tesla for industry leadership, and analysts are forecasting over a 20% upside potential.

Takeover fever and buy recommendation! Evotec, Nel ASA, Barrick Gold, Desert Gold

  • Mining

A hot takeover candidate in the gold sector is Desert Gold. Gold production in West Africa is expected to start in 2025. It is quite possible that one of the major gold companies will make a move by then. After the disappointing quarterly figures from Barrick Gold and Newmont calls for takeovers are growing louder. Analysts see significant upside potential. In the biotech sector, Evotec is repeatedly being discussed as a takeover candidate. The core business is considered extremely attractive, and the new CEO is expected to eliminate all the legacy issues this year. Next week will be exciting! And then there is Nel. Operationally, things are not going well for the former hydrogen star. Can the collaboration with a potential buyer turn things around?

Siemens Energy unstoppable! BYD in a trade war? First Hydrogen share set for a price jump?

  • greenhydrogen

More and more analysts are suggesting it might be time to sell Siemens Energy stock. After all, the share is one of the top performers this year, with a price gain of more than 200%. What are the arguments in favour of selling? In contrast, anti-cyclical investors could add First Hydrogen shares to their portfolios. With plans to roll out hydrogen solutions for commercial vehicles across Europe, First Hydrogen's stock appears to have stabilized and represents the new generation in the hydrogen sector. Meanwhile, BYD is growing strongly. The Chinese are aiming for an aggressive expansion in Europe, but what do the new punitive tariffs mean? Is a trade war looming?

Share about to jump? Rheinmetall, JinkoSolar, Almonty Industries

  • Mining

The German government has allocated EUR 1 billion for a new raw materials fund. This will enable the KfW to participate in mining projects in Germany and abroad and secure Germany's supply of critical raw materials. To reduce dependence on China and Russia for tungsten, the state bank provided millions to Almonty Industries a few years ago. The mine in South Korea is nearing completion, prompting a revaluation of the stock. Rheinmetall's recent revaluation showcases the potential for significant stock price increases. Could Almonty be next? Meanwhile, JinkoSolar's stock took a notable hit yesterday, continuing its volatility. What lies ahead?
