Nel ASA, TUI and Alpina Holdings: Shares with up to 100% price potential?
The reporting season is in full swing. The 2022 figures are an opportunity for investors to review their investment decisions and, if necessary, reposition themselves for 2023. For one of our three companies, analysts see up to 100% upside potential but also a "sell". The figures from Nel ASA were awaited with great excitement. Since last year, hydrogen companies have been good for a surprise every time they open their books - unfortunately, more of a negative one lately. Nel has also seen its fair share of good and bad news, and the first analysts have spoken out. At TUI, analyst comments are rather negative. Analyst opinion: Better than feared, but not good enough. In contrast, Alpina Holdings offers a favorable valuation and a dividend yield of 3%. Yet 2022 was relatively quiet for the real estate company from Singapore. In the future, margins and earnings should rise again.

Nordex, American Lithium, Globex Mining, Nel - New stock favourites?
The energy transition is fuelling the raw materials boom. Solar and wind energy, hydrogen and electromobility - raw materials such as nickel, rare earths, lithium and cobalt are needed for all future technologies. Companies like Nordex and Nel ASA need the raw materials. The Nordex share has had a challenging year. But analysts see the light at the end of the tunnel. The wind turbine manufacturer is introducing a new product. At Nel, experts advise selling, and the annual figures are due soon from the Scandinavians. In contrast, Globex Mining continues to be traded as an outperformer even after the 50% rally since November 2022. The quality of the resource projects is high, and the share is being revalued. American Lithium has also performed strongly since Q4 2022. The uranium subsidiary is expected to provide the next share price jump. However, bad news is coming from China for the lithium sector. This time, Tesla is not instigating the price war.

Beware of Plug Power and Tesla. Better to bet on BYD and Defense Metals?
Caution is advised with e-car pioneer Tesla: Over the weekend, a video of an accident involving a Tesla and a stationary fire truck made the rounds on the Internet. This could once again bring the US authorities onto the scene. They had just ordered a "recall" for more than 360,000 vehicles. The reason was an increased risk of accidents. Tesla has to install an online update of the driver assistance software. And then Charlie Munger had also spoken out clearly for BYD and against Tesla. It was almost ridiculous, said the partner of Warren Buffett, how strongly BYD had asserted itself against Tesla. While Tesla is lowering prices, BYD has raised them. Experts also advise caution for Plug Power. Chart-wise, the stock is still battered, the estimates for the coming years seem ambitious, and a capital increase to finance the expansion is hardly avoidable. At the same time, electromobility and hydrogen are absolute topics of the future. Are investors therefore better off betting on BYD and Defense Metals?

Is Tesla hunter BYD almost 100% in? Has the Nel share run hot? When will Manuka Resources jump on?
The Nel share has performed amazingly well in recent months. From mid-October to early February, it increased by around 70% to EUR 1.70. Since then, the stock has been taking a well-deserved breather. Will the rally continue? According to Goldman Sachs, the air is getting thin. But there is also positive news. There is also that of BYD. The Tesla hunter is building another battery factory, and analysts are raising their estimates after solid figures. Manuka Resources wants to present strong drilling results. For this purpose, a new drilling program near an existing mine has now been approved. In addition to gold and silver, high-grade copper deposits, zinc, and lead are expected. In addition, a complete reassessment is still possible.

Biotech stocks on the verge of a breakout? Evotec, BioNTech, Cardiol Therapeutics
Biotech stocks have largely missed out on the rally of recent weeks. But this could change. Some have interesting chart constellations or a positive news flow. Sooner or later, the stock should then also react with a breakout. After the horror year 2022, Evotec received several positive reports within a few days. The share price has also jumped. At BioNTech, investors are looking away from the COVID-19 vaccine and towards the development pipeline. But, analysts disagree. Are 100% share price gains on the cards? Analysts believe that Cardiol Therapeutics' stock has even more potential than that. Its main product against heart inflammation is already in the Phase II pilot study, and the necessary capital for further development is available. All three shares are recommended as a buy by analysts.

BYD, American Lithium, Altech Advanced Materials: Shares in rally mode
The rally at the beginning of the year on the stock markets has surprised many investors. Among the winners are the shares of BYD, American Lithium, and Altech Advanced Materials AG. All three are already showing significant double-digit price increases after the first few weeks. And the chances are good that the positive developments will continue. That is because they are benefiting from the boom in electric mobility. In the current year, BYD is relying heavily on foreign expansion outside its home market of China. The first vehicles have now been delivered in India. In the future, the Chinese carmaker's batteries could contain lithium from American Lithium. In any case, the Canadian company has published a promising resource estimate, and the IPO of the uranium division may become the next share price driver. Altech Advanced Materials is working on a new generation of batteries with the Fraunhofer Institute. More and more investors are discovering the Altech share. The market capitalization is not high.

More than 100% possible: Analysts on Nel ASA, Saturn Oil + Gas and the Tesla chaser BYD
Hydrogen specialist Nel ASA is entering the new year with a tailwind. The Norwegian company's stock has already gained more than 20% this year. Operationally, the Company aims to make significant progress in 2023 after a challenging previous year. A new order was reported to match this. And then analysts are also raising the price target. Analysts see over 100% price potential in the oil producer Saturn Oil & Gas. The experts assess the recent acquisition of the Canadians as positive and see a significant undervaluation compared to the peer group. In addition, analysts at Commerzbank see a rising oil price. For e-cars, Tesla has triggered price reductions. BYD is also affected by this. Things are also likely to get more uncomfortable in the primary market of China in 2023. Nevertheless, BYD should continue to grow in the current year.

Hydrogen shares: New favourites First Hydrogen and PNE instead of Plug Power and ITM Power?
Hydrogen stocks have electrified investors' imaginations for years. But 2022 pure plays like Plug Power, Nel and ITM Power have disappointed. Not just in terms of share price performance but operationally as well. In contrast, newcomer First Hydrogen was one of the high flyers. The share price shot up by more than 100%, and the hydrogen commercial vehicles passed the tests. The Canadians want to continue to step on the gas in the current year. The share should benefit from this again; at CAD 200 million, it does not appear expensive. Now the German PNE is also entering the billion-dollar market. Following the end of takeover speculation, new impetus from green hydrogen is welcome. ITM Power sends a sign of life with an order from Linde.

Energy transition price rockets: American Lithium, Plug Power, Auxico Resources
Are shares related to electromobility among the price rockets of 2023? In any case, the start of the year was promising. After a partially disastrous second half of 2022, many stocks are showing strength in the new year. Lithium shares, in particular, are in demand again. Among the high flyers of recent months is American Lithium. After the Nasdaq listing and the planned spin-off of the uranium division, investors are eagerly awaiting the feasibility study. Will the share price fireworks continue? Analysts also expect such fireworks at Auxico Resources. They believe that the share price of the trader of rare earths and critical raw materials could almost triple. Hydrogen pioneer Plug Power has also bounced back in the new year. But once again, the US company has disappointed operationally. How do investors react?

Big surprise for Tesla hunter BYD and JinkoSolar: when will dynaCERT share takeoff?
Now, this would be a real surprise: Will Tesla hunter BYD soon not only sell its e-cars in Germany but also produce them? According to media reports, the Chinese carmaker is talking to Ford about buying the plant in Saarlouis. Another Chinese group is also continuing to go full throttle: JinkoSolar. The solar group reports strong figures, the start of construction of a reference project and analysts increase the price target for the share. Investors are also waiting for a big bang from dynaCERT. The cleantech company wants to enter into trading with emission certificates. In addition, sales figures are increasing in the core business.
