Many countries have introduced strict emissions regulations to reduce CO2 emissions and minimize the use of fossil fuels. Amazon, First Hydrogen and Delivery Hero: Future-oriented logistics shares in focus

People worldwide order goods and groceries through digital marketplaces such as Amazon or Delivery Hero. The Corona pandemic, in particular, has caused delivery services and logistics operators to boom. Amazon is presenting its Q4/23 figures today, and analysts expect double-digit sales growth. The industry is changing, with a focus on the mobility of delivery vehicles. Amazon invests in e-cargo bikes in the UK, where the emphasis on greentech is strong. The Company First Hydrogen, with its fuel cell vans (FCEV), has welcomed an exciting new partner in the UK for further test runs with its FCEV, which offers more power and endurance compared to conventional EVs. Amazon rolled out the telemedicine service to all Prime members in the States this week. To ensure that deliveries arrive on time and with as few emissions as possible, First Hydrogen has developed a van that has already successfully passed its test phase in the UK. dynaCERT, BASF, Daimler Truck AG: Investors pounce on logistics stocks, new opportunities and profit potentials

dynaCERT is developing a patented technology that generates hydrogen and oxygen on demand and delivers them through the air intake system to improve combustion and carbon emissions in various diesel engines. The Company has sold 93 HydraGEN™ units to a logistics company in Guyana to support the country's ambitious goal to reduce CO₂ emissions by 70% by 2030. BASF has cut its investment budget amid a global downturn to preserve cash. Amid takeover rumors from chemical company Covestro, BASF CEO Martin Brudermüller calls for support from the German government to improve the competitiveness of European chemical companies. Daimler Truck has launched a share buyback program in which up to 82.3 million shares may be repurchased. The Company expects a significant increase in profits with higher revenue and sales.

Hydrogen technology finally seems to be gaining momentum on the industrial side. Unfortunately, conventional diesel drives still dominate the transportation and logistics sector. However, the exhibitors at the IAA Transportation in Hannover have quite different goals: They want to lead truck transport into a climate-neutral logistics era.
