Everfuel, Q&M Dental Group, SAP - Focus on change!
The year is drawing to a close. It has been an exciting year for the capital markets due to the Corona pandemic. In addition to reaching new highs at Dow, DAX & Co., the boom in IPOs, especially in the USA, was another surprise. The situation in the real economy is different, though. While Europe, South America and the United States are still suffering from the lockdowns, the Asian economies are recovering far faster than expected.

BIGG Digital Assets, Lufthansa, Ballard Power - Breakthrough achieved!
In March 2020, when the first lockdown was declared on the back of the Corona pandemic, bitcoin was at a low of USD 3,850. Now, at the end of the year, the most important cryptocurrency is rushing from one high to another. It is on the verge of breaking through the USD 30,000 mark. While price targets of over USD 80,000 are currently being called, more and more institutional investors enter the cryptocurrency market. A promising sign, also in general for companies in the blockchain universe.

Nordex, Fokus Mining, Global Fashion Group - to the next level with full coffers
The fuel for corporate growth is often an investment. With new products or the development of previously untapped potential, the next expansion steps can be taken. But first, the initial step must be taken, i.e., raising or acquiring the necessary funds. We present three companies that have raised a lot of money this year and have excellent prospects in 2021.

Nio, GS Holdings, Geely - it goes on!
China's economy grows and grows. According to the Centre for Economics, the Middle Kingdom will replace the USA as the world's largest economy as early as 2028. The accelerating effect is that Asia is coming out of the Coronavirus Crisis faster and better than Europe or the USA. Thus, the economic results favor the Chinese and the emerging tiger economies such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Here, there are numerous companies with disproportionate growth opportunities for the coming years.

BASF, Lufthansa, Triumph Gold - Watch out for the end of the year!
After months of tough negotiations, the UK and the EU are on the verge of a historic trade deal. However, we still face some hurdles in the British and European parliaments. No one wants a "no-deal" exit - the UK has already extremely sidelined itself with its tract, and the British pound reflects the skeptical view of the markets. Now that an agreement is within reach, it must be written into law. The British government has announced that it will call MPs to Parliament on 30 Dec for the last heavy day of work to vote on the rulebook. However, according to the UK's chief Brexit negotiator David Frost, MPs are still waiting for the agreement's full text to be published soon. It seems like the MPs will have to hold a blind vote. Our guess: it won't work!

Daimler, dynaCERT, Tesla, Volkswagen - state-subsidized share gains
The German energy transition and the change in mobility can be summarized in one sentence: maximum effort for minimum success. While the impact of the German population on global environmental responsibilities is marginal, the financial burden is enormous. The introduction of battery cars has already failed and is now only getting off the ground thanks to unprecedentedly high premiums on a new purchase. The original selling point that battery cars are better for the environment has failed miserably. The federal government is now engaging in damage control and appealing to subsidy hunters. On top of that, the acquisition is now sweetened with a state-subsidized charging station. Speculators are rubbing their hands.

BYD, Saturn Oil & Gas, JinkoSolar - The path is clear!
The oil price has been strong in recent weeks. If it goes according to the major investment houses, the positive trend will continue. Thus, the experts of Citigroup assume that the global oil demand will reach the pre-Corona level by the end of 2021. Currently, a takeover battle is taking place in the industry which offers companies the opportunity to completely reposition themselves and emerge from the crisis even stronger.

Everfuel, Triumph Gold, Varta - This will be important!
The final weeks of the unique 2020 stock market year promise further excitement. The DAX is close to its all-time high of 13,808 points. If it breaks the mark, investors are likely to party, albeit at a distance, until the end of the year. Gold also resumed in the direction of the all-time high. After the strong support at USD 1,800 held, analysts see highs again for the precious yellow metal as early as the first quarter of 2021.

BYD, RYU Apparel, JinkoSolar - There is huge potential here!
As of today, retail stores in Germany are closed. Do you already have all your Christmas presents? If not, thank goodness there is an ever-growing selection of retailers on the World Wide Web. Online retail is booming, all the more so because of the recurring lockdowns. The trend to use less brick-and-mortar retail and more online retail runs through all industries. For this reason, retailers are increasingly turning to the Internet as a sales channel.

DOW, Henkel, Royal Helium - Chemistry learns sustainability
The chemical sector is entering a new era. Value chains are being reshaped as sustainability, along with economic and geopolitical shifts, new technologies, and changing consumer demands challenge the bottom line and future profitability of companies. Covid-19 has led to even greater complexity and caused significant shifts in supply and demand. However, sustainability factors and ESG criteria also offer growth and differentiation opportunities for companies that redefine their value chains and business models, adapt to the circular economy, seize the opportunities of digital technology, and upskill their employees to the best of their abilities.
