TUI, Desert Gold, Steinhoff - Cheap Shares, bargain hunters watch out

  • Gold
  • Tourism
  • Retail

Today, we look at three companies whose share prices appear cheap at first glance and then analyze which candidates have potential. An affordable stock is not necessarily cheap, just as an expensive stock is not automatically expensive. The problem with many retail investors is that they do not have the money to buy a few Amazon shares. Therefore, smaller stocks are more likely to be found, especially in smaller portfolios. One should look at the market sentiment of a company and its fundamentals to avoid betting on the wrong horse if possible.

Hensoldt, Gazprom, Triumph Gold - These stocks will explode like Alibaba!

  • Gold

The Ukrainian crisis has triggered a humanitarian catastrophe and a deep and extended price increase around the globe. Inflation is galloping, so central banks will have to react soon. In terms of COVID-19, not much is likely to happen after the freedom declarations, but whether the economy can sustainably gain momentum remains questionable. Supply chains have been disrupted, interest rates for financing are rising vehemently, and there are many question marks on the raw materials side, especially in the metals sector. As if by magic, there was a strong countermovement after the sell-off in China and Hong Kong in the last few weeks. And Alibaba & Co. made leaps of joy of up to 25% plus. We look at other price share price curiosities.

Uranium Energy Corp., Barsele Minerals, Endeavour Silver - Commodities for the future

  • Gold
  • Silver
  • Commodities

We live in turbulent times: Climate change, e-mobility, traffic change. After the pandemic, the war in Ukraine is now shaking the world. Investors are fleeing to safe-havens. Precious metal prices have recently risen significantly, with the price of a troy ounce of gold moving towards an all-time high. Cryptocurrencies also made gains. Given the geopolitical and energy situation, high stock market fluctuations are still expected. Where is it worth taking a closer look now?

K+S, MAS Gold, Hensoldt - Shares around fertilizers, gold and armaments on the upswing

  • Gold
  • armaments

Even in times of crisis, there are always winners. In the case of the Ukraine crisis, these are the fertilizer producers due to the lack of wheat from Russia and Ukraine. With their fertilizers, wheat producers are trying to at least partially meet the excess demand. Gold managed to break out on the upside after the war began and is still considered a safe haven. Last but not least, of course, the defense industry is benefiting from the war drive. Today, we take a look at one company from each sector.

Newmont, Ximen Mining, Barrick Gold - Deceptive calm

  • Gold

Hopes of an imminent end to the war in Ukraine are causing the stock markets to turn upward again. The German stock market barometer DAX climbed above the psychologically important mark of 14,000 points. In contrast, the precious metals gold and silver, known as crisis currencies, came under heavy pressure. The various types of oil also lost a disproportionate amount of value, falling by more than 3%. The question is now whether the calming is only a flash in the pan or whether a new buying window will open in the short term, especially for the precious metals.

TUI, Desert Gold, Deutsche Bank: Uncertainty as an investment opportunity

  • Gold
  • travel

Only less than a week to go before freedom returns - at least superficially. Those who previously perceived medical masks and testing obligations as repression should breathe a sigh of relief from March 20. Then Germany will also have its Freedom Day. Yet while relief is spreading in many parts of Germany, the conflict in Ukraine is coming to a head. After March 20, the threat to freedom in Europe is likely to be greater than during the most heated federal-state rounds of recent years. We analyze the situation and look at three stocks.

Rheinmetall, Triumph Gold, Siemens Energy - Safe havens despite the crisis?

  • Gold
  • armaments
  • renewableenergies

The Ukraine crisis finally broke the camel's back. Previously, neither the announcement of interest rate hikes nor galloping inflation could move the stock markets to a proper correction. With the beginning of the Russia attack on Ukraine, the indices have lost significant value. Mutual economic embargoes weaken each other, and in the end, the consumer will pay the bill. But as in every crisis, there are winners. Weapons manufacturers are suddenly booming, the price of gold has soared, and renewable energies are being given extra support to ensure independence from Russian energy imports. Today, we look at one company from each of the three sectors.

Nordex, MAS Gold, Hensoldt: Shares for the new era

  • Gold

Even if the negotiations between Ukraine and Russia inspire hope, regardless of the interim status, much will change in the coming months and years. The civilian power EU must rethink - in many areas. Gas as a transitional technology can hardly be justified after Putin's war of aggression. Putting national security in the hands of NATO, which is largely supported by the United States, also seems risky - after all, Trump is already preparing his election campaign. In the future, the EU and Germany will have to accelerate climate change and push ahead with rearmament. We present three stocks that could benefit.

Nordex, K+S, Desert Gold: Commodities out of control

  • Gold
  • Commodities

While the broad stock market suffers from Russia's war of aggression in Ukraine, commodities are becoming increasingly expensive. On Tuesday, the price of nickel had doubled, and the London Metal Exchange even suspended trading. Prices are also going through the roof for virtually all other commodities such as oil, gold, gas and wheat. Accordingly, shares from these sectors are currently in demand. Such as the potash producer K+S because large competitors from Russia and Belarus are currently cut off from the world market. Analysts have recently been cautious. Desert Gold is benefiting from the high gold price. In addition, the Canadian explorer has published promising resource estimates. Driven by the political announcements to replace fossil fuels even faster with renewable energies, Nordex was one of the past week's winners. Now, however, the Company has published sobering figures. But hope remains.

McDonald's, Barsele Minerals, ING Group - Golden instead of Chicken McNugget

  • Gold

The crisis currency gold has already marked new all-time highs in the euro currency. In the case of the dollar, the precious metal moved above the psychologically important USD 2,000 mark, at least briefly. From a technical perspective, the next target is the high at USD 2,074.40. Various companies currently have entirely different concerns with regard to their high exposure to Russia. In contrast to other competitors, fast-food giant McDonald's is being hit extremely hard.
