GreenTech companies in hot demand: Freyr Battery, Rock Tech Lithium, Meta Materials, BYD
Many CEOs of young companies set lofty goals for themselves. In the GreenTech sector, it currently looks as if many of these goals will come true: Industrial companies are seeking collaborations with young companies by the dozen. We explain the advantages this offers investors and how investors can seize opportunities using several examples. Let's start with one of last week's high flyers.

BYD, Globex Mining, Tesla - Run on commodities!
It is a time of extremes: extreme heat, drought, and prices in the gas and electricity markets. The run on commodities has begun, and investors should look closely at where growth will occur over the next 24 months. Globex Mining is one candidate that, thanks to its business model, covers diversified commodities directly with acreage in the US and Canada. That is sure to please Elon Musk. Through Tesla Powerwalls, Tesla turns its end users into power generators that supply energy to California's vulnerable electrical grid. The state is subject to temperatures so extreme that blackouts can occur. BYD is proving just how valuable an end-to-end production chain is in this day and age.

BYD after Buffett shock - Better to bet on JinkoSolar and Meta Materials?
So, now it is done: Star investor Warren Buffett has sold shares in the Tesla hunter, BYD. Although it is only a small part of the investment, the BYD share went down significantly. Because now, the door is open to speculation about what will happen to the legal shares - Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway still holds almost 19% of the Chinese carmaker. The convincing quarterly figures have thus receded into the background. JinkoSolar has presented mixed figures. The Company is benefiting from the skyrocketing electricity and gas prices. After all, they are driving demand for solar systems, but analysts are divided. Meta Materials' innovative functional materials are also expected to revolutionize renewable energy production in the future. For further development, the patent octopus has now strengthened itself with a veteran of the chip industry.

E-mobility before hydrogen! Watch out for Plug Power, Edison Lithium, Mercedes-Benz and Rock Tech
According to the traffic light coalition, subsidies for e-mobility will continue until about 2025 but will decrease by an average of about 30% annually. In the future, the top models will be subsidized even less, and the subsidy for hybrids will already expire at the end of the year. Vehicles costing over EUR 65,000 will no longer be subsidized at all. The environmental bonus tax pot comprises EUR 3.4 billion and will not be increased any further. However, it is important that hydrogen-powered vehicles also benefit from subsidies. Currently, however, there is a lack of models for the mass market. For the e-industry, there are still bottlenecks in battery technology and lithium availability. Against this background, the industry will still have a lot of work to do to get climate change in mobility on the road. Where are the opportunities?

BYD, Kleos Space, Bayer - Great opportunities in laggards
Although stock markets continue to correct, driven by geopolitical uncertainties and interest rate fears, some sectors have defied the generally adverse market conditions in recent weeks. For example, renewable energy stocks such as Plug Power more than doubled on the back of Joe Biden's climate change package. However, most companies from other sectors remain at discounted levels despite excellent prospects, which should offer investors good long-term entry opportunities.

BYD, Altech Advanced Materials, Varta - Is hydrogen displacing e-mobility?
Chancellor Scholz was in Canada with Economics Minister Habeck to secure gas and hydrogen for the future. According to CEO Oliver Zipse, BMW is looking into series production of hydrogen cars. These are alarm signals for the producers of batteries for electric vehicles. Until recently, the electric drive was the preferred option in the passenger car market. The disadvantages are the long charging times, the low range and safety aspects. The hydrogen drive can score points, especially in terms of charging times. If the electric drive is to maintain its lead, the batteries in electric cars must become more efficient. Today, we look at three companies trying to solve the problems of rechargeable batteries.

Finding the best GreenTech stocks: BYD, Defense Metals, JinkoSolar and Nordex in focus
Since Joe Biden's Climate Bill, GreenTech stocks have been on everyone's lips. That is because, in addition to the EU, the US now also wants to step on the gas pedal significantly. It is all about investing in the future of climate protection. This primarily involves technologies for alternative energy generation, such as solar or wind power plants. Equally in focus, however, are the drive technologies for the many vehicles on our roads. The pivotal point is strategically important metals; they are rare and highly sought after. International dependence on China makes many projects a tough balancing act. But some companies are well positioned. Have they already gone too far?

Rock Tech Lithium, Globex Mining, XPeng - Time to act
It is all or nothing for climate change. The supply of critical raw materials is already barely guaranteed in the Western world for many urgently needed materials. Dependence on China is crushing. The Canadian government has now signed memoranda of understanding with German automakers Volkswagen AG and Mercedes-Benz Group AG to develop supply chains for nickel, lithium, cobalt and other key minerals used in electric vehicles. At least this is a first step, but it will be far from sufficient. The primary beneficiaries, on the other hand, are the mining companies, especially in North America.

BYD, Meta Materials, Pfizer - Full pipeline
Uncertainty returns after the rises of recent weeks. In addition to equities, other asset classes such as precious metals and cryptocurrencies are also falling and marking a multi-week low. Besides the uncertain geopolitical situation, the culprit is mainly the fear of a global recession bundled with rampant inflation. It is challenging to currently filter out the right stocks from this overall negative environment. Nevertheless, many companies are shining with full order books and innovations and should benefit in the long term in the event of a turnaround.

NIO, Almonty Industries, Xiaomi - China's advantage
Tensions between the United States of America and China are increasing due to the unnecessary provocation with Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan. In the event of an escalation of the conflict, the Western economy would be hit by economic consequences not yet imagined. The Middle Kingdom has a virtual monopoly on several raw materials that are vital not only for the production of renewable energies. For years, the US, in particular, has been trying to reduce this dependence, but with little success so far. The few Western producers of rare raw materials thus face a golden future.
