The Walldorf-based Company has recognized the signs of the times; technological progress concerning a rapidly growing engineered and digital world is picking up speed. The Australian Company Aspermont, a formerly long-established publishing house, has already gone through the digital transformation. The next step is now to become a fintech group. BYD, Yorkton Ventures, BMW - An expensive boom
The electric carmakers' annual figures are out, and they show rapid growth for both BYD and BMW. Despite the pandemic and the shortage of semiconductors, the automakers were able to double deliveries in some cases. The industry also expects a continued boom in e-mobility in 2022. The Association of International Motor Vehicle Manufacturers forecasts around 850,000 new registrations for electric vehicles in Germany in 2022. In addition to the sales figures, however, the prices for the raw materials required are also growing. Lithium alone, which is essential for batteries, has more than tripled in price since June of last year and is currently reaching new highs almost daily.

Barrick Gold, Alerio Gold, First Majestic - Experts agree: 2022 will be the year of mining stocks
2021 was a consistently strange year. Corona surprised with more new variants, Olaf Scholz became German Chancellor and the prices for gold and silver, despite ever-rising inflation, developed downwards towards the end year. While in the past many investors have relied on cryptocurrencies as a hedge against inflation, perhaps the recent price capers of the leading cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, could make investors rethink.

BioNTech, Defence Therapeutics, PAION - Seizing the momentum
The Corona pandemic brought biotechnology to the forefront of society's consciousness, especially since the first vaccines were created in German laboratories. However, the biotech spectrum is much broader than pandemic vaccine research. In addition to research in medicine, the sector is playing an increasingly important role in environmental protection, agriculture and the ongoing climate change.

Lufthansa, wallstreet:online, Block - Shares with catch-up potential
The nervousness was palpable as the US indices fell for five days in a row. Reasons for consolidation are quickly found - the Omicron variant, inflation and the fear of rising interest rates provide uncertainty for the bulls. Especially the big tech companies would suffer from an interest rate hike, and many tech stocks were already punished and investors preferred to invest in value stocks. If the interest rate hike comes, there will likely be further markdowns in the tech sector. Today, we look at three companies that we believe could be on the verge of a turnaround.

dynaCERT, Plug Power, Nikola - Will hydrogen be the comeback of 2022?
Electromobility is an important building block for reducing CO2 emissions. However, batteries are not efficient enough due to their limited range and long charging times, especially in heavy-duty traffic. The most promising technology is hydrogen. However, after a veritable hype last year, many values experienced an abrupt crash after it became clear that the necessary infrastructure was not yet ready. But in 2022, the course could slowly be set, and hydrogen stocks could make the comeback of the year. We took a closer look at three promising candidates.

Triumph Gold, Delivery Hero, HelloFresh - Exploding like TeamViewer!
Inflation is galloping, so the central banks will have to react soon. In the matter of COVID-19, an endemic is expected after the overcoming of Omicron. That would likely bring a boom to the economies. The high volatility on the capital markets has now manifested itself, and the basis of the argument changes almost daily. For us, it is a suitable opportunity to take a look at highly volatile investment vehicles. Actually, the sails are set, but inflation can still dash the party - but that would again be a buying argument for the precious metals!
