The markets are currently in a comeback mood. But where will the stock market stars soon shine in their old glory, and where is it only enough for a hit medley in the local disco? In order to be able to judge where the journey for fallen angels on the stock exchange floor can go, it depends first and foremost on the substance. We take a closer look at BYD, Globex Mining and Deutsche Bank and ask: Where is the journey heading?

Volkswagen, dynaCERT, Linde - Energy transition outside Europe?

  • Hydrogen
  • renewableenergies

Hydrogen is an essential part of the energy transition. In order to produce it, fossil fuels are still needed, and these are anything but affordable in Europe at the moment. So it is no wonder that Linde plc is looking to delist from the DAX in order to expand its business more lucratively. The listing on the NYSE remains in place. Volkswagen is also feeling the barriers in its home country of Germany, especially for its in-house battery production location. But numerous patents in hydrogen solutions indicate the direction in which the Group will move. dynaCERT has long since arrived there with its hybrid model for diesel trucks. The patented HydraGEN™ technology reduces carbon and increases fuel efficiency. We look at why it is smart to focus on values outside Europe.

Next push in e-mobility: Porsche, Kodiak Copper, Nio and BYD in investors' focus!

  • Copper
  • Renewable Energy

It would not be correct to project the important raw material copper purely onto e-mobility. Of course, global copper demand is rising due to many electrical engineering applications. But it is also falling in the wake of a slowing construction boom. If fewer houses are built worldwide, the copper demand will fall more sharply than repeatedly forecast. In principle, however, the trend for 2024 and beyond points strongly upward. Mobility will have to make a major move in the direction of e-mobility if the climate targets of the politicians currently in power are to be implemented - out with the combustion engine, in with e-mobility. In the medium term, this means three times as much copper is needed as in 2015. Which shares will come into focus?

Buffett loves oil stocks: BP, Shell, Saturn Oil + Gas, K+S

  • Mining
  • Oil
  • Gas

Warren Buffett loves oil stocks. This year, he has invested billions in the industry. Chevron and Occidental Petroleum are among Berkshire Hathaway's seven largest holdings, and together they are even number two in the portfolio after Apple. Buffett likes business models with high cash flows and stable demand. And oil stocks offer both. This also fits with the statement by Goldmann Sachs that despite the high investments in renewable energies, the share of fossil energy has remained stable above 80% in the last 10 years. If you want to do it like investor legend Buffett, you should look at oil stocks such as BP, Shell or the almost ridiculously cheaply valued Canadian newcomer Saturn Oil & Gas. However, the German K+S is also hooked on oil, and the share is trending friendly.

Biogen, Cardiol Therapeutics, Evotec - Brilliant results

  • Biotechnology

The reporting season for the third quarter is in full swing and is creating a thoroughly positive mood. For example, the software group SAP posted surprisingly strong growth in its cloud business in the third quarter, and its operating result was better than forecast. Positive signals are also coming from the biotech sector, which has been badly battered in recent months. After the horrendous share price losses, this sector, in particular, offers attractive long-term entry levels.

BioNTech, Defence Therapeutics, MorphoSys - The rebound is on the way

  • Biotechnology
  • Investments

The biotech sector is a growth market and, therefore, extremely capital-intensive. Due to the stricter monetary policy of the central banks, investors have given the promising sector the cold shoulder in recent months. Sector indices lost around 30% of their value, while the prices of individual stocks with a full development pipeline halved. The fact that several promising long-term companies are already trading below their cash levels shows that the panic is exaggerated. There are signs of a bottoming out, which could herald the next upward wave.

Core One Labs, XPhyto, BioNTech - The second biotech series moves forward

  • Biotechnology

The enormously rapid development of the various COVID vaccines by historical standards showed how important biotechnology already is for humanity. Previously unknown companies such as BioNTech, Valneva and CureVac took center stage on the stock market and were able to multiply their share prices within a few months. Even after the pandemic, the biotech wheel continues to turn. Enormous growth opportunities are said to exist in the market for psychedelic drugs. Here, young growth companies are waiting in the wings with the potential to multiply their share prices in the future.

Varta, Barsele Minerals, Nel ASA - Hard-hitting announcements from analysts

  • Mining
  • Gold
  • Hydrogen
  • Investments

The suspense is rising - the third quarter number season is open. It will be interesting to see how companies from various sectors have performed in the months from July to September despite imponderables such as rising raw material and energy costs and the global economic downturn. Due to the partly horrendous share price losses in recent months, interesting buying opportunities could arise at a cheaper level, which should promise high price gains in the long term.

Daimler Truck, First Hydrogen, Plug Power - Transportation industry in upheaval: Which shares will profit?

  • Hydrogen
  • fuelcell
  • Electromobility

In the EU, a quarter of all CO2 emissions are caused by road traffic. Here, the transport industry, with its diesel engines, plays a major role. If the ambitious climate targets are to be achieved by 2030, the industry will have to undergo a major transformation. Road freight transport alone is expected to reduce emissions by 26% by the end of the decade. For a long time, electromobility was seen as the solution, but it is becoming increasingly clear that hydrogen will also be an option. It always depends on the use case, and at the same time, the infrastructure must be in place for the technology in question. So today, we look at three companies that could benefit from fleet modernization.

US equities reporting season: Netflix, Snap, Meta Platforms, Aspermont - Will it continue explosively?

  • Technology
  • Investments
  • fintech

In October, the reporting season for the 3rd quarter started in the USA. This is a highly exciting time, as moves of up to 25% or more are not uncommon when a NASDAQ stock grossly deviates from its guidance. After years of bliss in the tech sector, a new parameter has also crept into the valuation of growth stocks: Interest rates. Discounted future cash flows represent the value of a stock today. If these are adjusted downward and valued at a higher discount due to increased interest rates, this can trigger significant price corrections in an emergency. Of course, this scenario also applies to upside surprises - a reason for further research.
