Plug Power, Central African Gold, Newmont: The best of both worlds

  • Gold

The risk appetite is back! Especially in the past week, shares around hydrogen and electromobility have climbed rapidly again. Even hydrogen stocks of the first hour were again kissed awake by the market. We highlight Plug Power, one such share, and list shares that tech-savvy investors can add to their portfolios.

Newmont Corp, Triumph Gold, Lufthansa, TUI - Dramatic turnaround in the course!

  • Gold

Gold and silver are turning in significantly, Lufthansa and TUI have gone through with their large capital increases - what is next here? Even if the major indices experienced a strong correction in October yesterday, there was a dramatic turnaround in several respects. Volatility as a fluctuation indicator even came back so strongly in the last few days that it fell below the threshold of 20 again. This indicator shows that the need for hedging is probably dwindling, i.e. the interest of the investment community tends to be directed upwards again. But inflation can still put a spoke in the party's wheel - but that would again be a buying argument for the precious metals! We direct our view on some turnaround candidates.

Newmont, Triumph Gold, Merck KGaA, Fresnillo - Proven crisis protection

  • Gold

Following a historic reform, the DAX leading index now includes 40 companies to present the German economy comprehensively. In addition to the Franco-German aircraft manufacturer Airbus, companies such as the cooking box supplier HelloFresh, Porsche, and the online fashion retailer Zalando will play in the Champions League. The start was bumpy, which was not due to the composition but rather to the looming crisis in China, triggered by the Chinese real estate group Evergrande. Investors are fleeing equities and investing in gold in turbulent times. Historically, this scenario has proven itself many times. But gold is currently also in correction mode! In the long term, hardly anything goes past the precious yellow metal.

Newmont, Sitka Gold, Royal Dutch Shell - Commodity prices to rise further

  • Gold

Research conducted in July with 1,000 European companies found that all respondents expect commodity prices to continue to rise. In part, these price increases we have seen over the past year are due to the Corona Pandemic. During the lockdown, production of raw materials was shut down, and when demand suddenly increased noticeably, they were not prepared for it. Supply chains are still disrupted today. But thanks to rising vaccination rates, the economy is picking up again in many parts of the world. Demand for oil remains high in the long term, and gold is still in its long-term uptrend despite the short-term sell-off.

Newmont, White Metal Resources, Volkswagen: This is where the future is traded

  • Commodities

New, "green" trends are turning the raw materials market upside down. The boom in electric mobility means that we need more copper. Other industrial metals are also in demand. Precious metals, such as silver, are moving into focus because of the growing demand for solar and photovoltaic systems. At the same time, central banks around the globe remain relaxed despite rising inflation - this could be water on the mills of gold. We present three stocks and evaluate their opportunities.

First Majestic Silver, Carnavale Resources, Newmont - Get in early!

  • Commodities

Do you want to chase the trend or invest in time before a price jump and then sit back and relax when the price rises? For the second option, an investment in gold stocks is the way to go. We are still some distance from the past year's highs, but there are many indications that precious metal prices will rise in the medium term. We give you three investment ideas on the way. Buy, hold, enjoy.

Standard Lithium, Almonty Industries, Newmont: Invest in the super commodity

  • Tungsten

Achieving climate change requires political will and suitable raw materials. Solar cells, wind turbines and batteries for electric cars and associated motors rely on critical metals. This new industrial demand is turning the raw materials market upside down. Added to this is general progress: new processes often require new raw materials, whether in medical technology or research. Reason enough to keep an eye on the raw materials sector.

Newmont, Troilus Gold, Steinhoff: How much substance is needed?

  • Gold

Rising prices, ever higher national debts - many people are shifting parts of their savings into gold because of this. At first glance, that sounds plausible. Gold has retained its value over thousands of years and has outlasted states and monetary systems. But investors should not just assume the worst. While physical gold paired with silver is a good alternative in the biggest crisis, bars and coins show weakness when things don't end up quite so bad. If only a little inflation threatens and states and governments continue to muddle through in cooperation with central banks, physical holdings are not the best idea. It is here where shares in gold companies can score points. We explain how this works with two examples. Finally, we reject blunt gambling.

JinkoSolar, Barsele Minerals, Newmont: The takeover merry-go-round is spinning

  • Gold

Raw materials are the key to new technology. Whether silver, copper or other metals - many technologies, such as electric cars and solar panels, drive demand for metals. As these technologies triumph, so does the demand for raw materials. Using three stocks as examples, we explain how investors can profit.

Desert Gold, Endeavour Mining, Newmont - Gold is rallying as expected

  • Gold

I pointed out the double bottom in gold in one of my earlier articles, and since then, the price has risen over USD 200. Interestingly, the buy-side consists mainly of young investors up to 25 years old. According to research from several online brokers, they own 39% of gold - 3 years ago, it was only 26%. This percentage is three times higher than in the overall population. Inflows into physically deposited gold ETFs amounted to nearly 34 tons. Driven by inflation fears and political tensions, gold is enjoying a renewed revival. We take a look at three gold stocks today.
