Like a prayer wheel, green political ideas are raining down on the German industrial landscape - no more nuclear energy, but instead coal and gas. Historically high energy prices are to be accepted, even though wholesale prices are already below pre-war levels again and the energy mix is supposedly fed by more than 50% renewable energy. Because no one knows what the future holds for all this, major investment decisions by industry are now going against Germany. VW is investing EUR 10 billion in Spain, and BASF is doing the same in China. Valuable jobs that will no longer exist in Germany in the foreseeable future. What should investors keep an eye on to create at least sunny prospects in their portfolios?

Is the Artificial intelligence hype already over? Nvidia, Star Navigation and C3.ai with good chances of a correction!
With an eye on rapid technological progress, the EU and the US want to cooperate more in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). "We are determined to make the most of the potential of emerging technologies while limiting the challenges they pose to universal human rights and shared democratic values," the Joint Trade and Technology Council announces. For the accompanying ethics committees, an important issue now comes to the table: what is a machine allowed to do, and what is it not allowed to do? So the current hype could be curbed again somewhat. Have AI values already peaked?

Other industry leaders also see the beginning of a new technical revolution rolling towards society. After an initial hype following the launch of the ChatGPT 3.5 chatbot on November 30, 2022, companies from the revolutionizing industry are in the consolidation phase. There is currently no question that the technology will prevail in the long term.

The topic of artificial intelligence finally reached the masses with the meteoric rise of the chatbot ChatGPT and is unlikely to be stopped despite short-term bans, as happened in Italy. The topic is also already on everyone's lips on the capital market. The companies in the sector are exposed to a high degree of fluctuation, which is nothing unusual at the beginning of a long-term trend.
