Trump is back! NATO rearmament with Rheinmetall, Renk, Hensoldt and Nova Pacific Metals

  • GreenTech

After a grand inauguration night, the 47th US President Donald Trump is diving straight into government business. The first decrees include an exit from the WHO and the Paris Climate Agreement. At the same time, he repeated his demand that NATO countries drastically increase their investment budgets if they expect to continue to be protected by the US. What this could mean for the planet is alarming. For the stock market, this means getting out of Greentech stocks and into high-tech and defense for the time being. Strategic metals are also coming back into focus because nothing will move forward without them. Where can investors still make a return now?

Stock market driven by Donald Trump: Renk, Bitcoin, Barrick Gold, First Nordic Metals

Since yesterday, Donald Trump is again US president. And the Trump Trades such as Bitcoin, gold and defense continue to rise. The US president's own meme coin caused a stir over the weekend. At the same time, gold is setting its sights on an all-time high. The stocks in the sector should also benefit from this. Barrick Gold was one of the disappointments in 2024. Will the gold giant now start a new buying wave in the industry? New impetus could come in February. First Nordic Metals might be interesting for one of the large gold producers. The Company has exciting projects in Scandinavia and is implementing an extensive drilling program in 2025. The stock is cheap. At the turn of the year, investors likely also found Renk's stock too cheap. After a disappointing performance in 2024, the share price picked up in the new year. Analysts see further upside potential.

D-Wave Quantum with SHARE PRICE EXPLOSION! Next up, Renk and ARI Motors?

  • Technology
  • Defense
  • Electromobility
  • Software

D-Wave Quantum's share price exploded by more than 20% yesterday and is back at USD 6 – on Monday, it was still below USD 4. A new cooperation raises hopes for orders from the US government and state authorities. Meanwhile, ARI Motors is also seeing positive developments in its order flow, signaling growth in its niche within electric mobility despite a challenging environment. This makes the stock ripe for a breakout from its sideways trend – and upwards at that. More and more positive news is coming from Renk. The question remains whether the company can catch up with the underperformance seen compared to Rheinmetall and Hensoldt in 2025.

After nearly 19% gains in 2024, many investors wonder whether such dream returns are repeatable in 2025. We believe so, although the growth will be selective. Stocks are no longer rising across the board; instead, they are rising due to their strength in the sectors or because of an extraordinary competitive position. Underperformers will still be abundant, and investors should, therefore, position their portfolios to weather the storm. There is a significant risk of a lower valuation in certain NASDAQ-listed stocks, which have already reached P/E ratios of over 40. One indicator of such exaggerations is the so-called Shiller P/E ratio. At 24.8, the MSCI World is currently well above its long-term average, mainly due to stocks in the technology and communications sectors, which are trading relatively well above their historical valuation median. The time has, therefore, come for a sector rotation – here are a few ideas.

Renk electric tanks with Rheinmetall? Buy Nordex shares? XXIX Metal profits!

Is electric mobility coming to the battlefield soon? This is likely to be only a matter of time. For example, Renk is already working on hybrid models that are expected to offer clear advantages in the field and could also be used to electrify Rheinmetall tanks in the future. In addition, the new transmissions pave the way for autonomous driving tanks. Electric vehicles are driving the demand for copper just as much as artificial intelligence and renewable energies. XXIX Metal is benefiting from this. The Company emerged from a merger this year and has become a leading player. The copper content of the projects, which already exists, is convincing. And what is Nordex doing? The wind turbine manufacturer has reported a new order. The stock has remained relatively stable throughout 2024. Analysts see upside potential, but there are also risks.

100% chance of peace in 2025: Ukraine, Israel & Syria! Rheinmetall, Renk, Almonty and Palantir in focus

  • Tungsten
  • Software

The DAX ran a little hot in December, with a new all-time high of over 20,522 points. Shortly before Christmas, it fell back to 19,850 points. Some say healthy; others say a turnaround. The fact is that the 2024 investment year was only positive for a fraction of the listed stocks despite the recessionary environment. They come from the high-tech, artificial intelligence, banking and defense sectors. With the renewed escalation of Russian attacks at the turn of the year, hopes for peace have been postponed for the time being, leaving defense stocks with their dearly paid-for charm. Producers of strategic metals are again coming into focus because, for Western industrial nations, the task is to secure supply chains as best as possible. Where are the opportunities for investors at the turn of the year?

Watch out for Renk! TUI and Globex Mining share strong!

The Globex Mining share has performed positively in recent weeks. By investing in the mining incubator, investors can benefit from the commodities boom with a diversified risk profile. Chart-wise, there is upside potential, and the share buyback provides downside protection. In contrast, things are not looking good for Renk. The stock is performing significantly worse than Rheinmetall and Hensoldt. Now, analysts are also slashing their price targets. On the other hand, things are going well for TUI. The latest figures have convinced analysts. However, the first clouds are on the horizon. Is the travel boom waning? Analysts are divided.

After a 30% rise in prices in the major indices since the beginning of the year, investors are asking themselves how they can weatherproof their portfolio for 2025. On the one hand, a well-defined stop strategy for overheated high-tech stocks is an option. Therefore, the topic of trailing stops should be studied in more detail and implemented. For new investments, there are always interesting setbacks to get back in on the next party. This scenario currently applies to the defense stocks Renk and Rheinmetall. Globex Mining covers almost the entire range of strategic metals that are indispensable for high-tech and defense manufacturers. Furthermore, some AI stocks like Palantir or C3.ai deserve a critical look. Accumulated profits could quickly disappear again here. We are delving deeper into the analysis.

HIGHFLYER stocks with upside potential: Renk, TUI, Almonty Industries

  • Mining

The current year has seen the beginning of a revaluation of Almonty Industries. The tungsten producer's stock has already gained more than 50%. If analysts have their way, it could gain another 250%. According to analysts, there could still be over 250% upside potential, as the Company is on the verge of a revenue and profit surge with the opening of a mega-mine. The TUI share has finally jumped above the EUR 8 mark. Driven by statements about a strong summer season in 2025, there is room for further growth. At its IPO, Renk was sold as a high-flyer in the defense sector. While the Company has yet to live up to these high expectations, analysts see over 50% price potential.
