DAX correction - Time to sell defense stocks? Rheinmetall, Renk, First Hydrogen, thyssenkrupp, and nucera

  • Hydrogen
  • greenhydrogen
  • Defense
  • renewableenergies

What an incredible rally in just four weeks! At the beginning of August, the DAX 40 index was still at 17,200 points - yesterday, for the first time, it was close to the 19,000 mark. And all against the backdrop of a flimsy interest rate cut announcement from the US. Once again, investors are betting on a big wave of interest rate cuts, but will they materialize? Although inflation is falling slightly, the price of goods and services has risen by a good 50% in the last four years. We are not referring to the misleading consumer price index of the statisticians but rather to the "menu of the people." We are talking about restaurants, consumption, mobility, and housing. The most significant increase has likely been in the housing sector, where energy prices, insurance costs, and rents have risen dramatically. Soon, even homeowners will be affected by property tax, as the wheel of inflation continues to turn. Equities have once again surged ahead as war and expensive raw materials fuel the market. Where are the opportunities for investors?

Plug Power, First Hydrogen, thyssenkrupp nucera - Could multiples like in the dot-com era be possible?

  • Hydrogen
  • greenhydrogen
  • Technology

The current hydrogen industry is strongly reminiscent of the dot-com era: back then, many internet stocks were considered temporary flops, but some survived and prospered, with Amazon being a prime example. When the dot-com bubble burst, Amazon emerged stronger and became a global economic giant. Similarly, just as there were skeptics about the long-term success of early internet companies, today there are doubts about the long-term viability of hydrogen technology. However, history teaches us that in the midst of many failures, some standout players can emerge that revolutionize the industry and create long-term value. We look at three possible candidates.

Here we go! Olympic 250% with hydrogen! Nel, Plug Power, First Hydrogen, thyssenkrupp and nucera

  • Hydrogen
  • greenhydrogen
  • Sustainability
  • Electromobility

Olympia goes Hydrogen! Japanese car manufacturer Toyota is providing a fleet of 500 Mirai hydrogen vehicles, 10 hydrogen buses, and 1,150 electric vehicles for the Olympic Games in Paris. Although hydrogen vehicles, such as the Toyota Mirai, produce virtually no emissions, 96% of the hydrogen produced worldwide still comes from fossil fuels such as methane gas. As a result, most hydrogen vehicles currently cause significantly more pollution than battery-powered electric vehicles and are only marginally cleaner than conventional combustion engines. However, there are notable exceptions: First Hydrogen is demonstrating how things could work in the future with the EU's 'Net Zero 2050' target!

100% possible with hydrogen! Keep an eye on Plug Power, Nel, First Hydrogen, nucera, and Cavendish

  • Hydrogen
  • renewableenergies
  • greenhydrogen

Football is the dominant topic at the moment. Even in ancient Rome, bread and circuses worked quite well to distract the people from the essentials. Investors should pay attention to the progress made in the hydrogen sector. Cavendish shares have brought new momentum to a sector that has been badly beaten up since 2021. Can the Nel subsidiary initiate a change in sentiment? We analyze the situation like Ronaldo at the penalty spot. But it should definitely go in!

Insider alert at Rheinmetall and Thyssenkrupp Nucera! Is First Hydrogen better than Nel?

  • Hydrogen
  • GreenTech
  • Defense
  • renewableenergies

Insiders are taking action after the Rheinmetall share slipped below the EUR 500 mark in the past few days. Following share purchases last week, more board members ordered shares at the start of this week. And there is also positive news on the operational side. There is also an insider alert at Thyssekrupp Nucera. Can the German hydrogen share stop the downward trend? And should First Hydrogen be preferred over Nel? There are good reasons for this. The Canadians' hydrogen commercial vehicle has now also impressed Amazon in practical tests. The news has gone under the radar in the current negative industry environment. This presents a buying opportunity, as EUR 500 million in annual revenue potential is offset by a EUR 30 million market capitalization.

After the European elections: Is it all happening now? Nel ASA, Kraken Energy, Siemens Energy, ThyssenKrupp and Nucera in focus

  • Mining
  • Uranium
  • renewableenergies
  • Energy

Europe has voted, and the Green parties have suffered historic losses! Now, the energy debate is coming to the fore again. While Germany is focusing entirely on green energy in the future, other countries have long since turned the challenges of the time into action. Nuclear energy remains a "zero-zero solution", making France, the Czech Republic and Poland the biggest climate protection exporters in the EU. This is because many new state-of-the-art reactors are being built here. The electricity market is huge, as Germany alone will have to shut down its gas and coal-fired power plants over the next few years due to the CO2 reduction commitments from the Paris Agreement. This threatens to create a supply gap that can only be filled with alternative energies, nuclear power, or hydrogen. What should investors focus on now?

Hydrogen stocks with top news! Plug Power, Thyssenkrupp Nucera and dynaCERT in focus!

  • Hydrogen
  • renewableenergies
  • greenhydrogen

Despite negative quarterly figures, the Plug Power share has developed positively in recent days. Is this the turnaround for the hydrogen pureplay? The Americans recently reported progress on a mega-project. dynaCERT is strengthening its position with an industry expert and former Daimler manager. The technology company is thus preparing for the breakthrough of its products aimed at reducing emissions in diesel vehicles. All that is missing now is VERRA certification for the issue of CO2 certificates. At Thyssenkrupp Nucera, the quarterly figures currently have to be digested. Analyst comments sound somewhat disappointed, but the price targets still leave room for growth for the German hydrogen hopeful.

Plug Power deeply in the red! Thyssenkrupp Nucera and First Hydrogen shares with positive newsflow and upside potential!

  • Hydrogen
  • greenhydrogen
  • GreenTech
  • renewableenergies

Not only is Plug Power's share price in the red, but also its earnings for the year 2023. Losses at the US company are still growing faster than revenue. Together with its struggling industry peer, Nel ASA, Plug is dragging down the entire hydrogen sector. However, there are positive developments. For example, the hydrogen-powered fuel cell commercial vehicle from First Hydrogen in England has impressed in test drives under real conditions. The Company is currently valued at only CAD 50 million and offers an entry opportunity. Analysts also see more than 100% upside potential for Thyssekrupp Nucera. Is the wheat separating from the chaff in the hydrogen sector?

Hydrogen news: Nel shares "Sell", Thyssenkrupp Nucera "Buy", and First Hydrogen convinces customers

  • Hydrogen
  • fuelcell
  • renewableenergies

Are Nel shares at risk of another price slide? The Norwegians failed to impress with their figures for the fourth quarter and the full year 2023. Incoming orders, in particular, are a cause for concern. Analysts see further downside potential for the share, but there are also optimists. In contrast, the hydrogen newcomer First Hydrogen, which specializes in commercial vehicles, is convincing. In the UK, there was no loss of range even during use in the cold season. Owners of Tesla, Volkswagen and the like can only dream of this. If concrete orders follow, the share should be able to take off. Analysts see potential for Thyssekrupp Nucera shares. The development in the first quarter was convincing. However, investors should also scrutinize the developments in the German hydrogen hopeful.

ThyssenKrupp Nucera, dynaCERT, Plug Power - Hydrogen Stocks: Buy or Wait?

  • Hydrogen
  • Electromobility
  • greenhydrogen

In light of global efforts to reduce CO2 emissions, hydrogen is coming into focus as a promising alternative in the transportation sector. The quick refueling times and greater ranges of hydrogen are particularly enticing, potentially solving the challenges of electromobility. Fleet operators must also become active, especially in response to the savings demanded by the government. Despite the clear potential for more sustainable mobility, hydrogen companies currently find themselves in a challenging situation on the stock markets, plagued by market uncertainties and the challenges of a nascent technology. Today, we look at three companies whose business is based on hydrogen.
