E.ON, Smartbroker Holding, Daimler Truck - Optimistic about the future
Despite challenging market conditions with high raw material and energy prices, many companies beat analysts' forecasts for the full year 2022 in the slowly fading figures season. There is no question that the current fiscal year is also likely to be shaped by many external uncertainty factors. Nevertheless, many companies are defying the negative conditions and are on the verge of setting new records in 2023.

Aurelius, Smartbroker Holding AG, Hypoport - Strong movements
For years, the construction industry was booming. However, the sector slid into a deep crisis last year due to rising construction costs and the end of low interest rates. Experts are not yet giving the all-clear for the current year, either. The figures for online brokers were also down sharply. As a result, the share prices of the companies concerned plummeted. At a discounted level, this offers attractive entry opportunities for a company that should enjoy an absolutely unique selling proposition in the event of a successful launch of its new platform.

Fresh money for wallstreet:online, and K+S and Deutsche Bank in waiting position
The reporting season for the second quarter of the 2022 stock market year will be underway next week. As always, bank stocks in the USA will form the starting grid. It will be interesting to see how inflation, which has risen sharply in recent months, and higher interest rates, will affect the key figures. Compared with other sectors, the beaten-down financial stocks are favorably valued.

Synergy effects as a risk buffer: Amazon, wallstreet:online, Volkswagen
Experienced value investors look for an "economic moat" in attractively valued companies. These business model characteristics make it particularly immune to external influences and disruptive factors. These include, for example, low-priced items that are a hit with consumers thanks to strong brands and are therefore readily purchased even in times of crisis. Another form of "economic moat" can be different divisions and business units that complement each other. We highlight three synergy stocks and explain how they can be stable investments.

Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank, wallstreet:online, Allianz - High turnover, wild prices - what are brokers and financial stocks doing?
In addition to the high price increases and the permanently rising interest rates, the highest volatility has now broken out on the stock exchanges. Investors have to adjust to new scenarios almost every day, especially the timing of the news about the state of the international economy is causing more and more headaches for economists. That is because the increased prices of raw materials are now considered standard and put a strain on the purchase prices of intermediate products and the calculation of the Company's own supply list. In some cases, this leads to dramatic adjustments, as impressively demonstrated by the manufacturer price index with +33.6% in May. How are the financial and broker stocks doing in this swing market?

Big bang for BYD and Rheinmetall: wallstreet:online insider buying
Investors need strong nerves at the moment. Stock markets worldwide are shaking, and it is not just technology stocks that are plummeting. But, there are also opportunities. It is important to check the portfolio and bet on the right shares. Rheinmetall seems to be unstoppable at the moment. Goldman Sachs sees significant upside potential, and the new Panther tank is causing a stir. Analysts are also optimistic about BYD, and speculation about a deal with Tesla is driving the share to a new all-time high in euro terms. wallstreet:online is a long way from that. But the business is going, insiders are buying shares, and analysts advise to buy.

wallstreet:online, Alibaba, Novavax - Digital pioneers and old hands
The number of young investors in Germany is rising steadily. To date, it stands at 49,000 people who are actively involved in their retirement planning. Both private and institutional investors are discovering the field of neobrokers as an investment. wallstreet:online AG is a candidate from the field with its own community. Alibaba founder Jack Ma has recognized that money has to keep moving in order to flow and is launching the first digital bank in Singapore. Things are somewhat more leisurely in the pharmaceutical sector: with Novavax, Americans now have four vaccines to choose from.

Lufthansa, wallstreet:online, Rheinmetall - The mood brightens
At this year's World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Robert Habeck, Germany's Minister for the Economy and Climate Protection warned of a global recession. Specifically, he said, there were four sources of danger in the form of high inflation, an energy crisis, food shortages and the climate crisis. In contrast, the mood of the German economy brightened considerably in May, despite the Ukraine conflict. "The German economy is proving robust despite inflation concerns, material shortages and the war in Ukraine," Ifo President Clemens Fuest said. "Signs of a recession are not visible at present." Ideal conditions for further rising quotations. Thus, several indices are again on the verge of striking buy signals.

wallstreet:online, Block Inc., PayPal - Is the mood turning?
One sector that has made strong gains in the stock market boom of recent years has been FinTechs and financial services providers. Financial portal operators and neobrokers such as wallstreet:online and Smartbroker were among the beneficiaries, as was the payment service provider PayPal. The share price of Block Inc., the mobile payment provider originally launched under the name Square Inc., also climbed to dizzying heights. After a sharp correction, things could now be on the up again with the tailwind of good figures.

Tech stocks - Where is the party over? Alibaba, wallstreet:online, PayPal
For years, digital business models were considered the best of the best. But the past April has punished stocks such as Alibaba and PayPal - in some cases, very significantly. The question now is: Is the age of growth companies coming to an end, or are the current prices possibly a good opportunity? And what other factors might be playing a role?
