The recent summit meeting between the heads of state of the United States and China ended with a preliminary trade agreement that promises a period of relative stability over the next twelve months. However, the agreements appear to be more symbolic than substantial, with few concrete steps to ease the structural tensions in global trade. One thing is clear: the US and Europe are under pressure to act. Without a decisive strategy to expand alternative production sites and relocate strategic supply chains to Western regions, there is a threat of a geopolitical and economic meltdown in the long term.

Albemarle, Almonty Industries, Lynas Rare Earths – The favorites after the trade deal

Last week's meeting between the leaders of the world's two largest economies concluded with a temporary trade agreement, which could provide some calm for at least the next 12 months. However, the points agreed upon remain vague and are unlikely to foster long-term détente. The reality is that the US and Europe must act and expand alternative production facilities in Western countries; otherwise, a shortage of critical raw materials, such as rare earth metals and tungsten, could pose a major risk.

BUYING OPPORTUNITY! Rheinmetall, Almonty, and MP Materials shares consolidate! The situation remains critical!

Shares in the defense and critical metals sectors are currently consolidating, which could present a clear buying opportunity. Analysts continue to see Rheinmetall's fair value at over EUR 2,200, as the long-awaited billion-dollar orders are finally being awarded. In the field of critical metals, investors have used US President Trump's trip to Asia to take profits. However, the trip clearly demonstrated that securing rare earths and other critical metals remains a top priority for the US. Agreements such as those now in place with China and Japan give the US the time it needs to bring its own deposits into production. MP Materials - and, as of this week, Almonty as well - are directly benefiting from this.

What could be better than takeover rumors? For weeks, there have been persistent discussions about state participation in companies that support the Western supply chain for critical metals or can secure it in the medium term. Hopes are pinned on the latest developments at rare earth specialist MP Materials. But there is another way! Almonty Industries took the plunge and secured a tungsten project in the US to drive forward its geographical diversification towards the West. Investors are enthusiastic. D-Wave and Oklo are also speculating in the same vein. We provide a little more clarity.

As is well known, there is, of course, no universal rule for stock market success. Successful investors have their own strategies, which often sound very simple at their core. Commodities legend Jim Rogers summed it up with a straightforward formula: investors should simply be aware of supply and demand. Currently, this means that stocks like Almonty Industries rank among the favorites due to the prevailing market conditions. The same applies to defense stocks. But opportunities also exist in stock picking – here, it is worth taking a closer look at the beaten-down Gerresheimer.

Global dependence on critical metals is becoming a strategic Achilles' heel. China's recent export restrictions on tungsten and rare earths are dramatically exacerbating the supply crisis and driving up prices for raw materials that are essential to the energy transition. In this tense market environment, three companies are positioning themselves as key suppliers outside China, at just the right time to benefit from this historic market shift: Almonty Industries, Standard Lithium, and MP Materials.

Small investment, huge profit? When financing truly pays off: Almonty, T-Mobile US, Netflix

Capital is a means of production, as Karl Marx already knew. So when companies secure new financing options, they do so to create additional value. Almonty, a leading Western tungsten producer, recently filed an application for a Preliminary Base Shelf Prospectus. This is a strategic financing instrument that allows companies to remain flexible – depending on market conditions and needs, they can access a range of predefined financing options and implement them quickly. Almonty cites the development of its massive Sangdong mine as a potential reason, but long-term observers of the Company see additional opportunities. We analyze Almonty's latest company announcement and show how T-Mobile US and Netflix have previously used smart financing strategies to lay the foundation for long-term growth.

Defense and metals in correction! Enter now with a 100% chance at Almonty, thyssenkrupp, TKMS, Hensoldt, and Mutares

That happened fast. After a temporary surge in defense and metal stocks, investors are taking profits. This is understandable, as some stocks, such as Almonty Industries, had risen by over 1,000% in just 10 months. Now it is time to let the market settle and, with renewed confidence, return to the most sought-after sectors of 2025. Of course, it is recommended to diversify across many regions and sectors, such as AI, high-tech, or precious metals, to keep portfolio volatility low. Here are a few examples that have gained relevance in recent days.

The trade conflict between the US and China is intensifying and reaching a new strategic dimension. Beijing is deliberately restricting exports of critical raw materials and rare earths that are indispensable for high-tech industries, defense, and the energy transition. Western industries are coming under pressure, security of supply is faltering, and prices are rising. Meanwhile, the beneficiaries of this situation, such as producers of critical raw materials, are experiencing a boom. What happens next, and what does the stock market newcomer TKMS have to do with it?

Raw materials alert for defense and technology! Almonty, MP Materials, and Rheinmetall!

Europe faces a growing raw materials challenge. Whether it is rare earths, tungsten, or other critical metals, these resources are essential not only for defense, but for countless industries, including AI. The FAZ recently spoke to Almonty CEO Lewis Black about this, dedicating almost an entire page to the issue. Conclusion: Europe must act. The US has long since taken decisive action, securing access for its industry by investing in raw materials companies such as MP Materials and Lithium Americas. Europe's hesitation could pose a risk for Rheinmetall, even if investors are currently overlooking it - especially as the Company is also expanding in the US. Hopefully, Defense Minister Pistorius will have this issue on his radar during his visit to Canada.
