The stock markets continue to boom. The DAX was able to climb above the psychologically important 18,000-point mark, at least in the short term, while other asset classes, such as gold and Bitcoin, also reached new highs. By contrast, different sectors, such as hydrogen and cannabis, have continued to plummet in recent weeks. The latter, in particular, has received an upward boost from the US government's statements, which could herald a trend reversal.

Encavis, Manuka Resources, Rheinmetall - Vanadium: From metal to energy source

  • renewableenergies

The energy transition presents us with the challenge of efficiently storing renewable energy. A key raw material in this process is vanadium, which is used in vanadium redox flow batteries (VRFBs) and is mainly known for its role in steel production. These batteries are characterized by their longevity, with up to 20,000 charging cycles without any significant loss of performance, and their safety as they are non-flammable. In addition, their scalability allows them to be used both in large-scale grid storage and in the private sector. By storing electricity from wind and solar power, VRFBs are a critical element in supporting the transition to a more sustainable energy supply and ensuring the availability of steel alloys that can also be used in the defense industry.

Bitcoin soon at USD 100,000? The music is also playing at Rheinmetall, Renk, Manuka Resources and BYD!

The stock market is not a one-way street. While Bitcoin reaches new highs daily, many stocks are still on the sidelines. Only 21% of all listed shares reached a new high in 2024, yet the Nasdaq 100 and the DAX 40 index are at their all-time highs. Only a few stocks are gaining favour with investors; others are being left behind. The current focus is on high-tech stocks that enable ever-greater computing power, such as in mining or artificial intelligence. In addition to gigantic amounts of data, mining requires trillions of computing operations to be carried out in a very short time. There are rewards in the form of new bitcoins for confirming transactions on the blockchain, but they will be halved by the next "halving" event in April. Armament values, on the other hand, seem to be heating up. So how much time is left to reap further leaps in returns?

Renk, Manuka Resources, and Airbus with explosive news

Germany's leading index, the DAX, managed to surpass the 17,000-point mark significantly this week, reaching a new all-time high at 17,198.50 points. After a weak IPO year in Germany in 2023, in which only three companies dared to go public, the Renk Group set an exclamation mark with a rocket launch. Whether the high level of the DAX can be maintained will also depend on Allianz, Fresenius and Heidelberg Materials, which will publish their figures for the past financial year in the coming week.

Manuka Resources, Delivery Hero, Siemens Energy: Project innovations for significant growth

  • Mining
  • Vanadium

  • renewableenergies

Vanadium is a critical raw material that is considered an important addition to conventional lithium-ion batteries due to its high energy density. It is used in electric vehicles as well as in vanadium redox flow batteries for long-term storage of renewable energy. Manuka Resources is on the verge of developing a vanadium area off the coast of New Zealand and is securing fresh capital for this purpose. Delivery Hero is also talking about opening up new regions. Expanding international business for the Berlin-based platform operator is one of the priorities for 2024. Siemens Energy is also focusing on expansion. The Germans are heading far west, to 'the land of the free and the home of the brave'...

Is Bayer's share price about to jump? BYD off to a positive start! Manuka Resources with a billion-dollar opportunity!

Are Bayer shares on the verge of a price surge? According to analysts at Bernstein, the chemical company is significantly undervalued. Where does the optimism come from? Could there be a change in the Aspirin logo for Bayer in the near future? Chart-wise, the share is heavily battered. The chart for BYD also speaks a clear language. The electric vehicle manufacturer has reported a good start to 2024, while Manuka Resources' VTM iron sand project in New Zealand is generating share price fantasy. There is movement in the project, and following the capital increase, there is now an entry opportunity. Is the revaluation coming soon? The potential is in the billions.

BASF, Manuka Resources, Lynas - Corrections offer long-term opportunities

  • Mining
  • Vanadium
  • RareEarths

A "supercycle" is defined as an extended period in which the demand for certain goods exceeds the available supply. In the long term, this leads to a steadily growing supply gap and, thus, to sharply rising prices. In our current situation, where independence from countries like China and Russia is also sought, critical raw materials such as copper, vanadium and rare earth metals will become increasingly scarce over the next few years due to demand resulting from the energy transition. The current correction in these underlying stocks should, therefore, offer a long-term opportunity.

Total sell-off in hydrogen! Nel ASA, Manuka Resources, Plug Power - Find the 300% pearl now

  • Mining
  • Gold
  • Silver
  • Vanadium

  • Hydrogen

The topic of hydrogen has been put on the back burner for the time being. Although the COP28 conference in Dubai showed a broad consensus on reducing greenhouse gases and avoiding fossil fuels, the OPEC countries, in particular, insist on their traditional right to continue tapping into the abundant oil wells. The observers conclude that everything remains the same; each does what it does best. The transformative idea of saving the world is collectively present, but if it can be solved with nuclear energy, then nuclear reactors will be built. This also highlights how the green-dominated traffic light policy on environmental issues is perceived internationally: Teachings from Germany are only smiled at. The topic of hydrogen was politically launched in Europe and has been traded on the stock exchange as a "world energy savior" since 2019; now, investors are sitting on a 90% loss. Is there still hope?

The Evotec stock is currently not for the faint-hearted. After the resignation of the long-serving board member caused uncertainty, the biotech company was able to reassure investors with a milestone payment. Analysts are speaking out and expressing their opinions, and a real "bull" is among them. And what about Manuka Resources? At the beginning of December, news about an exciting project for battery metals caused a jump in the share price. Is it now worth getting in after the consolidation? The Tui share has also recently consolidated after a 50% gain within a few weeks. Analysts' price targets for the tourism company's shares vary widely. Hold or buy?

Manuka Resources, Plug Power, Amazon: Precious Metals, Energy, E-Commerce - Which global future trends investors are betting on now

  • Silver

Renewable energy and digital transformation bring companies like Manuka Resources, Plug Power, and Amazon Web Services into focus. While Manuka Resources serves the rising demand for precious metals in the energy transition through mining activities for gold and silver, Plug Power, a pioneer in hydrogen technologies, faces challenges and seeks ways to overcome them. This time, the US government appears to be more of an opponent than an ally for Plug. In North America, Amazon Web Services, as a leader in cloud technology, is advancing Canadian infrastructure with an investment of over USD 17.9 billion. Meanwhile, the AI startup Anthropic, supported by giants like Google and Amazon, is betting on the future of artificial intelligence with ambitious revenue goals by 2024, from which AWS could also benefit. For more detailed insights into these connections, read here.
